Chapter 58: The Fiery Soul

Back at the arena, Ginny was dueling Bulldog and his Wicked Dreadroot (ATK: 4,000) attacked her weakened Turbo Warrior (ATK: 2,600 - 1,300) while she had a couple of facedown cards and that was about it and the smoked caused by the fiery explosion was still there.
(Bulldog LP: 2900 - Ginny LP: 2650).
Sebastian then replied, "The smoke is starting to clear, gang."
Christina then replied, "Lets hope fore the best."
As the smoked cleared, all that remained of her Turbo Warrior was a smoking pile of metal and she had activated..a Covering Fire trap card!
Bulldog then repleid, "No..way."
Ginny smiled and replied, "Yes way, creep. I used my trap card to give Gradleys current attack power to Turbo warrior before it hit, giving him a attack power of 2450."
As the trap vanished, she glowed (Ginny LP: 2650 - 1100).
Bulldog then replied, "You lucked out. I end my turn now."
Ginny drew a card and replied, "I'll switch your former monster to defense and then I'll set a monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Bulldog drew a card and replied, "Dreadroot, attack!"
He launched his huge fireball and the tall thief was burned to ashes.
"Your turn now."
Ginny drew a card and replied, "I flip my facedown monster up!"
As she flipped the card up, Magician of Faith appeared (ATK: 300 - 150) and she took back her Monster Reborn and placed it in her hand and then she replied, "I Summmon my Hyper Synchron Now!"
As she sat the card down, the robot tuner appeared (ATK: 1,600 - 800).
"I now tune my monsters together!"
The tuner's chest opened it, revealing a small black hole as it split into 4 white stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went through Magician of Faith, which turned into 1 star.
"I Synchro Summon..Scarlett Knight!"
As she sat the card down, a female warrior wearing dark red armor appeared with her sword (ATK: 2,400 - 1,200).
Bulldog then replied, "This going anywhere anytime soon?"
"Patience, dick. I now activate my facedown Miracle Synchro Fusion to fuse him with Gaia Force thats in my graveyard!"
As the mighty knight appeared and merged together with Scarlett Knight, Gaia appeared and he and his steed were now covered in thick armor (ATK: 3,500).
"Meet the mighty Gaia Drake, the Universal Force!"
Sebeastian smiled and replied, "Really good and rare card."
Bulldog smiled and replied, "Too bad it about to be..WHAT?"
He looked at his attack score and it didn't change at all and she smiled and replied, "He can't be targeted by card effects, fool! I now play Monster Reborn!"
Suddenly, Machine Dragon Power Tool appeared (ATK: 2,300 - 1,150).
"I'm going to equip Gaia Drake with my most favorite equip card and its United We Stand!"
Suddenly, He began to glow (ATK; 3,500 - 5,100).
Bulldog gulped and replied, "No..damn way."
"Yes damn way! Gaia Drake, attack that big eyesore!"
He and his steed charged and jammed his spear into his chest and he roared in pain before he exploded into thousands of black globules, ending the curse on her other monster (ATK: 1,150 - 2,300).
"Machine Dragon, attack and finish!"
He went and jammed his weapon into him, ending the duel (Bulldog LP: 2650 - 0).
Kelly then replied, "Yea, girl!"
Sebastian then repleid, "Great dueling, Ginny!"
Bulldog began to glow and he replied, "You will never..beat our leader!"
Suddenly, he vanished into particles and the key and card fell to the ground and then the card turned into black dust like the fusion monster Jacob used.
Sebastian then replied, "Strange."
Ginny nodded as she walked over to the key and grabbed it and she smiled and replied, "We only need one more damn key in order to face Slade and Shade!"
Sebastian nodded and replied, "We're almost there. Lets get out of here."
They quickly ran out and the arena's door closed up.

Back in his office, Bulldog's picture went up in flames and Shade sighed and replied, "My best soldier..gone for good now."
Slade then replied, "He did the best he could. But, how'd he get that giant fiend in his deck anyway?"
Shade then replied, "I have no clue right and I can't worry about that right now. Get to Renee and tell her to get ready for battle as soon as she can!"
Slade nodded as he ran out of the office and Shade sighed and replied, "I wonder where those damn cards are coming from anyway."

Im her arena, Renee was looking through her deck one last time before her duel against the girls."
She smiled and replied, "I have the best deck ever. I'll crush them to pieces with my megapower deck of mine!"
She looked at her Extra Deck and she replied, "With a few additions I made to it, I am ready to make my boyfriend and his dad proud of me soon when they do come to duel me and I'll be ready to
kick their asses!"

Back at the lounge, Ginny was relaxing with the girls after her long and tough duel with Bulldog.
Ginny sighed and replied, "I'm so glad that duel is over now. He had a good and decent deck and I'm glad I got the win."
Sebastian then replied, "Thats the 2nd duel we saw that a card was turned into black dust after being used. That is really wierd."
Christina then replied, "I want to duel the next one and after this one, we'll heading to the bosses themselves and taking their asses down!"
Sebastian then replied, "Thats the spirit, gang! We'll cream these guys and sending them packing."
Christina then replied, "Lets get going then!"
They all nodded as the left towards the next arena.

Back in Shade's office, they were watching the gang about to enter the final arena.
Shade then replied, "Lets see if she can bring them down, son."
Slade then replied, "She can do it. She has a really powerful deck and I look foward to her beating those girls with no trouble at all."
Shade looked at him and replied, "Go ahead and watch the duel and cheer her on, son. She's your girlfriend and I"m proud that she is."
Slade nodded as he got up and replied, "Thanks, dad."
Shade nodded as he quickly left the room and then he replied, "Renee will need all the support they can get and my son is the only right now that can do so for her."

A hour later, the gang was inside of the arena and waiting for the two to come.
Christina then replied, "Come on out!"
Suddenly, the door opened up and they walked into the arena and Slade then replied, "Which one of you losers is going to be crushed by my girlfriend today?"
Christina then replied, "I'm going to be the one that does the beating because I don't plan on losing to her!"
Renee smiled and replied, "Confident, eh? I accept your challenge!"
The door slammed shut and as everyone else sat down, Renee and Christina shuffled their decks and drew 5 cards apiece.
"Game on!", both yelled out.
(Renee LP: 8000 - Christina LP: 8000)
Renee drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and 1 card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "I summon my Flame Tiger!"
As she sat the card down, the fiery tusked tiger appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Attack her facedown monster!"
The tiger let out a burst of flames and a Skelengel appeared on the card (DEF: 500) and was burned to ashes as the flames struck it and then she drew a card.
"I'll set a card and that'll end my turn now."
Renee drew a card and replied, "I'll play Foolish Burial first!"
She took a card from her deck and discarded it and then she reshuffled and replied, "I now summon my Scrap Goblin!"
As she sat the card down, a tiny creature made of broken parts appeared (ATK: 0).
"Since I now control a Scrap monster, I'll special summon my Scrap Orthros!"
As she sat another card down, another creature made of broken parts and metal appeared (ATK: 1,700).
"Now, I have to destroy a Scrap monster and it has to be my Scrap Goblin!"
Suddenly, it shattered into little bits of metal and she replied, "Which activates Goblin's effect! When destroyed by a Scrap monster, I can get any Scrap monster from my graveyard and I choose the one I discarded a bit earlier!"
She took a monster from her deck and placed it in her hand and then she opened her field slot and replied, "I'm now taking us to the Scrap Factory!"
As she slid the card into the slot and she pressed the button and the Field spell card appeared and she replied, "This gives all Scrap monsters 200 attack and defense points!"
Suddenly, the Scrap monster glowed (ATK: 1,700 - 1,900).
"Now, attack!"
The beasts eyes began to glow and then two beams of light shot out Flame Tiger burst into a cloud of smoke & soot (Christina LP: 8000 - 7900).
"I"ll set a card and that'll end my turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and that'll end my turn now.'
Renee drew a card and replied, "I'll summon my Scrap Wolf!"
As he sat the card down, a large junky machine shaped like a robot appeared (ATK: 1,900 - 2,100).
"Lets do it. Orthros, attack!"
It charged and a UFO Turtle appeared on the card (DEF: 1,100) And smashed to pieces as the Scrap monster tackled it and then a 2nd one appeared (ATK: 1,400) and the other one went in and slammed its body into the 2nd Turtle, smashing it as well (Christina LP: 7900 - 7200) and then a Magma Drago appeared (ATK: 1,400).
"I end my turn now."
Christina then replied, "I'll skip my Draw Phase to bring my Flame Tiger back!"
Suddenly, the fiery tiger appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"I now tune my 2 monsters together!"
The fiery dragon split into 2 white stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went through Flame Tiger, which turned into 4 white stars and as this was happening, Christina raised her hands in the air and began to chant:
"A fiery warrior that was formed in a large volcano appears in a fiery blaze of glory! It uses its fiery firsts to incinerate its enemies! Synchro Summon! Burn them all up...Flamvell Urquizas!"
As she sat the card down, her favorite Synchro appeared (ATK: 2,100).
"Lets attack your Tuner!"
He swung his fist and a ball of flames shot out and struck the beast and it roared as it turned bright-red and then it shattered into pieces (Renee LP: 8000 - 7800) (ATK: 2,100 - 2,400).
"Your turn now."
Renee drew a card and replied, "I'll keep my Wolf in attack postion and then I'll set a monster and a card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "I summon my Blazing Inpachi!"
As she sat the card down, the fiery wood idol appeared (ATK: 1,850).
"Lets do it. Urquizas, attack!"
He went and swung his fist and the flames struck, melting Scrap Wolf into a pile of molten metal (Renee LP: 7800 - 7500).
"Inpachi, attack!"
He went in and a Scrap Goblin appeared on the card (DEF: 500) and he struck with its fist and then it didn't do anything and then she repleid, "I end my turn now."
As soon as she finished saying that, the small goblin fell apart.
Renee drew a card and replied, "I play Fiend's Sanctuary!"
Suddenly, a beady token appeared (ATK: 0).
"I'll tribute it for my Scrap Golem!"
As the token vanished into grains of light, a golem made of broken metal and other parts appeared (ATK: 2,300 - 2,500)
"I use its ability to get a weak Scrap from my graveyard!"
Suddenly, Scrap Goblin appeared (ATK: 0).
"I now tune my 2 monsters together!"
The tiny creature split into 3 white stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went through Scrap Golem, which turned into 5 white stars.
"I Synchro Summon..Scrap Dragon!"
As she sat the card down, a huge dragon made of scrap metal and other broken items appeared with a roar (ATK: 2,800 - 3,000).
Ginny groaned and replied, "Knew that thing would be around soon. One of the beast Scrap monsters in the game and most rarest as well."
"I'll destroy my facedown Guts of Steel to destroy your Synchro!"
As the facedown card shattered, The dragon launched some green flames and it shot out and atomized Uriquizas.
"Now, attack!"
It launched the same green flames and the fiery Pyro exploded into a cloud of fiery smoke & ash (Christina LP: 7200 - 6050).
Renee laughed and replied, "Yea! I'll set a card and its your turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster facedown and 1 card facedown and that'l end my turn now."
Renee drew a card and replied, "I summon my Scrap Hunter!"
As she sat the card down, a machine made of scrapped parts appeared (ATK: 1,600 - 1,800).
"Next, I'll set a card."
She did so and then she replied, "I"ll destroy my facedown card to wipe out your facedown monster."
Christina smile dand replied, "Actually, you won't be doing that at all. I activate Fiendish Chain!"
As her trap flipped up, chains shot out and wrapped the dragon up.
"Damn it. Attack her facedown monster!"
The machine went and a Charcoal Inpachi appeared on the card (DEF: 2,100) and the machine struck it with its fist, doing nothing at all (Renee LP: 7500 - 7200) and she replied, "Whatever. Your turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "I banish 1 fire monster to bring out my Inferno!"
As he banished one of his UFO Turtles, the bonfire with eyes appeared (ATK: 1,100).
"I now tribute both of them for my Infernal Flame Emperor!"
As they both shattered into fiery embers, the mighty demonic-like Pyro appeared (ATK: 2,700).
"I banish 2 fire monsters to destroy your field spell and your facedown monster!"
As she took her Charcoal Inpachi and 2nd Turtle and banished them, Renee's facedown Scrap Rage burned to ashes and then the field spell card turned to ashes as well (ATK: 3,000 - 2,800) - (ATK: 1,800 - 1,600).
"I now play Shrink!"
Suddenly, Scrap Dragon shrank down (ATK: 2,800 - 1,400).
"I now play Call of the Haunted!"
Suddenly, Flamvel Uriquizas appeared (ATK: 2,100).
"Urquizas, attack that Hunter!"
The Pyro warrior went and struck the machine with its fiery fist and it shattered into pieces of burnt metal (ATK: 2,100 - 2,400).
"Now, take that big Eye sore down!"
the larger Pyro swung his fist and a huge wave of flames shot out and struck the mighty and then the dragon simply fell apart into melted pieces of metal that fell everywhere (Renee LP: 7200 - 5400) and then Scrap Hunter appeared and knelt (DEF: 600).
"There you go. I end my turn now."
Renee drew a card and replied, "I'll set a card and then summon my Scrap Beast!"
As she sat the card down, the beast made of scrapped parts appeared (ATK: 1,600).
"I now tune my 2 monsters together!"
The beast roared as it split into 3 white stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went through Scrap Hunter, which turned into 4 white stars.
"I Synchro Summon...Scrap Archfiend!"
As she sat the card down, a fiend made of scrapped parts appeared (ATK: 2,700).
"Next, I play Double Summon for my Scrap Worm!"
As she sat the card down, a small worm-shaped scrap creature appeared (ATK: 500).
"I now tune Worm with my Scrap Archfiend!"
Thr worm split into 2 white stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went through Scrap Archfiend, which turned into 7 white stars.
"I Synchro Summon..Scrap Twin Dragon!"
As she sat the card down, the two-headed form of Scrap Dragon appeared (ATK: 2,800).
"I'll destroy my facedown card to send your monsters back to the right decks!"
As her facedown Pot of Duality lifted up and shattered to bits, Both of Christina's monsters vanished and were back in their right decks.
"Now, attack her directly!"
The heads began to glow and they launched two huge bursts of energy and they struck her Christina down (Christina LP: 6050 - 3250).
Slade smiled and replied, "A little bit more and this girl is done for, honey!"
Renee smiled and replied, "This one of my favorite duels! I'll set a monster and that'll end my turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "I'll set 2 cards facedown and a monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Renee drew a card and replied, "I play Monster Reborn!"
Suddenly, Scrap Archfiend appeared (ATK: 2,700).
"Lets do it. Scrap Twin Dragon, attack!"
The two-headed dragon launched its attack and a 2nd Flame Tiger appeared (DEF: 0) right before the blast atomized it.
"Attack her directly!"
The eyes of the fiend began to glow and it shot two beams of red light and they shot out and struck her and she groaned and replied, "I activate Nutrient Z!"
She began to glow (Christina LP: 3250 - 7250 - 4850) and she sighed and replied, "Ouch."
Renee laughed and replied, "This is too damn easy of a a duel I End my turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "Since you have a monster and I don't, I can special summon my Flamvell Centaur!"
As she sat the card down, a fiery creature that looked like a large centaur appeared (ATK: 2,300).
"Next, I summon my Flamvell Baby!"
As she sat the card down, the small pyro appeared (ATK: 400).
"I now play Treasured Cards From Heaven!"
Both drew until they 6 cards in their hands and then he replied, "I Now them together now!"
The tuner pyro laughed as it splt into 1 white star, which turned into green rings and the rings went through Flamvell Centuar, which turned into 6 white stars. As this was happening, Christina raised her hands in the air and began to chant:
"A mighty being of flames incinerates all that opposes it! This mighty creature uses its fiery attacks to turn all of its enemies into ash! Synchro Summon! Incinerate them all...Ancient Flamvell God!"
A huge fiery creature appeared (ATK: 2,500).
Kelly then replied, "Haven't seen her summon that thing in a while."
"I Use his ability! I can banish cards equal to the number of cards in your hand!"
Ginny smiled and replied, "Thats why she played Treasured Cards!"
Suddenly, Scrap Dragon, Scrap Beast, Scrap Worm, Scrap Golem, Scrap Goblin and Scrap Hunter's cards appeared and turned to piles of ash that flew into her the huge diety (ATK: 2,500 - 3,700).
"Now, attack Scrap Twin Dragon!"
The huge Pyro swung his arms and a huge wave of flames shot out and struck the mighty dragon and its heads roared before it exploded into fiery metal that rained down on the ground (Renee LP: 5400 - 4500).
Ginny nodded and replied, "Since Christina banished most of those cards, she can't use Scrap Twin Dragon's effect now!"
"Damn right, girl! I end my turn now."
Renee drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and switch Scrap Archfiend to defense and I'll set a couple of cards facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Christina then replied, "I ignore my draw phase to bring out my Flame Tiger you destroyed earlier."
Suddenly, the fiery beast appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"I now equip my God with Fairy Meteor Crush!"
Suddenly, it began to glow for a minute.
"Now, attack her Archfiend!"
The mighy Pyro swung his arms and a huge wave of flames and the Archfiend exploded into hot pieces of metal as the flames struck it down (Renee LP: 4500 - 1900).
"Flame Tiger, your turn!"
The beast let out its flames and a Scrap Chimera appeared on the card (DEF: 600) and was blown to pieces as the flames struck it down.
"Your turn now."
Renee drew a card and replied, "I play Monster Reborn!"
Suddenly, Flamvell Centaur appeared (ATK: 2,300).
"I now summon my 2nd Scrap Worm!"
As she sat the card down, the scrappy worm appeared (ATK: 500).
"I now tune them together!"
The worm split into 2 white stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went through Flamvell Centaur, which turned into 6 white stars and as they faded away, Scrap Dragon appeared (ATK: 2,800).
Ginny groaned and replied, "Darn our luck."
As her facedown Scrap Sheen shattered to little bits, the dragon launched its fiery attack and then the Pyro exploded into a fiery cloud of black smoke as it struck it.
"Go for her tiger!"
The mighty beast launched its green flames and they shot out and blew the fiery beast into tiny shards (Christina LP: 4850 - 3850).
"Your turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "I'll set a card and a monster and that'll end my turn now."
Renee drew a card and replied, "I summon my Robotic Knight!"
As he sat the card down, the android soldier appeared (ATK: 1,600).
"Not a scrap, but its cool looking! Attack his facedown card, Knight!"
He aimed its arm and fired a barrage of shells and they shot out and a Great Angus appeared (DEF: 600) and was blown into triangles as the attack struck it down and then the huge Synchro launched its green flames and it struck Christina (Christina LP: 3850 - 1050) and she replied, "I play Damage Gate!"
Suddenly, Flamvell Centaur appeared (ATK: 2,300).
"I'll set a card and its your turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "I banish 2 fire monsters to bring out Blaster, Dragon Ruler of Infernos!"
As she took her Flamvell God and Great Angus and banished them, the huge fiery dragon appeared (ATK: 2,800).
"Next, I banish another fire monster for my Spirit of the Flames!"
As she took her Flamvell Baby and banished it, the demon-like Pyro appeared (ATK: 1,700).
"Next, I play Galaxy Queen's Light to make all of them level 8 monsters!"
Suddenly, they all glowed (LV: 4 & 6 - LV: 8).
"I now overlay my 3 level 8 monsters!"
They each turned into a fiery orb of light and a portal opened up, which they flew into.
"I use these monsters to build the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon! Appear before me..Coach King Giantrainer!"
As she sat the card down, a really tall Xyz warrior appeared with many different kinds of weapons (ATK: 2,800).
Lucas smiled and replied, "My card is doing her some good."
"I Now equip it with Xyz Unit!"
Suddenly, its weapons began to glow (ATK: 2,800 - 4,400).
"Now, smash her Robotic Knight!"
The mighty Warrior charged in and Renee quickly replied, "I play Staunch Defender! Now you have to attack my Scrap Dragon!"
The mighty warrior took out a long metal rod and he swung and it struck its target, blowing Scrap Dragon to little pieces (Renee LP: 1900 - 300) and then Scrap Worm appeared and knelt (DEF: 100).
"Lucky save. I end my turn now."
Renee drew a card and replied, "I'll switch my Knight to defense and then I'll set a card and that'll end my turn now."
Try to attack me now, bitch. My facedown Dimensional Prison will banish your large eyesore!, Renee thought to herself as she faced Christina.
Christina drew a card and replied, "I'm using my monsters ability to finish you! I can use it up to 3 times and I draw a card from the top of my deck and for each monster, you take 800 damage!"
Renee gulped as she removed the Blaster and she drew a card and flipped it around and it was a her Molten Destruction spell card and she added it to her hand and then she removed her Spirit of Flames and she drew another card and sighed when it was only a Backfire trap card.
Renee smiled and replied, "I may have a chance after all."
Kelly then replied, "Please let this next card be the one she needs..please!"
As she removed her final Xyz Material monster, she drew a card and flipped it around and it was her other Blazing Inpachi!
Renee then replied, "DAMN IT!"
Suddenly, a huge ball of fire appeared on her side of field and he got his bat and swung and it struck, smashing the fireball at Renee and finishing her off (Renee LP: 300 - 0).
Ginny then replied, "Good win."
Renee began to glow and she looked at Slade and replied, "Get them for me, honey."
Slade then replied, "I'll do it for you, honey."
She blew him a kiss before she dissolved into light and dropped the key to the ground and Slade looked at them and replied, "You'll all fucking pay for taking her away for me!"
He slowly vanished from sight and Christina walked up and got the key and replied, "Lets rest and then go after that kid."
Sebastian then replied, "Good idea."
They all slowly left the arena after the door shut tight.
