Note: Today is my birthday, but I decided to celebrate with all you with this new chapter! Enjoy it while I go open my presents.
Chapter 63: Burning Light

Back at his house, they were keeping a eye on Zander and his crew.
Tatiana groaned and replied, "I was so dman close to beating that jerk and I failed."
Jeb smiled and replied, "I do have a better deck then you do, lady. Your deck sucked big time."
"Keeping talking, you geezer you."
Zander looked at her and replied, "Thats quite enough, Tatiana."
Ginny smiled and repleid, "This means we win and I challenge you."
Zander looked back at her and replied, "Not yet you will.'
Ginny then replied, "You're the final duelist of your damn group, so we must."
"Forget about me?", Colton's voice was heard.
They turned to the front door of the house and Colton came out of the door and Ginny replied, "Who are you?"
Colton then replied, "I'm Colton Greenburn and I'm this guys best friend, owner of the house and the producer of rare cards for my friends."
"In other words, you a card counterfeiter.", Christina said with a sigh.
"More or less, young lady. More or less."
Christina then replied, "This guy is mine! I'll duel you, dude!"
Colton then replied, "I accept your challenge, little girl. I'll give you until tomorrow night to get ready and then, I'll cream your butt into next week."
Tatiana smiled and replied, "You guys are so screwed as well. He's stronger then me and James combined. He'll wipe the floor with any of you losers!"
Zander then replied, "Be back here for the last damn duel you punks will ever have!"
They all laughed and walked inside and then the door closed and Christina then replied, "I can't wait to crush you in our duel, dude."
Ginny then replied, "Me too. Lets head back to the hotel."

Later that night on the shore, Zander was talking to his demon half while a light rain began to fall.
Zander looked at the sky and replied, "Hope you don't mind this rain at all, Shavar. Its supposed to turn a bit heavy in about 2 hours or so.'
Shavar then replied, "Don't need to worry about me, Zander. I Can handle rain and snow and any kind of weather as much as I can. As a Shadow Demon, I can handle it all and It won't bother me at all and when I'm inside of you, you won't be effected by the weather either."
"I like the sound of that alot, Shavar. I like it alot."
"I saw through your eyes that your friend Tatiana lost her duel against them as well. Why don't you just give up on those losers and allow me to banish them away?"
"They may of lost, but don't need to banish them at any time, dude. I like them and their my only friends besides Colton. I need them for support and stuff."
"Just like a human. You need friends and family and all that crap to become a strong person, knowing inside your a weak foolish boy."
"Its just what I wanted to do and keep your damn comments to yourself right now. With those idiots coming by later to duel my friend Colton, I can't let things like this bother me and stop me from achieving my dream of becoming a leader."
Shavar laughed and replied, "I'm more proud of you right now, dude. You stood up for the ones that respect you and you back talked me as well! I'm glad to be apart of you and I wasn't ever planning on banishing your friends, Zander. This was a small test to see if you were ready to be come a true leader and you are indeed ready for that postion."
Zander then replied, "Thank you and I am ready."
The demon nodded as he merged together with Zander again and he replied, "Can't wait to watch Colton kick that fire girls butt in the duel."
Suddenly, it start the rain started to pour and thunder was heard in the sky as well and Zander then replied, "He was telling me the truth about the weather. It does feel good to feel all of this right now."

That next day at about 5:00 in the morning, Christina was going over her deck in the lounge (while in her pajamas) before her big duel with Colton that night. She too nervous to keep on sleeping.
She sighed and replied, "I hope my deck is good enough to get past whatever Colton. It scares me he can have any card made at anytime, so his deck might be full of the best and rarest cards ever and I might be in trouble."
"Having some jitters?", a voice said.
She turned around and Slade walked in and he smiled and replied, "Hey."
Slade then replied, "I have no idea what kind of deck that guy will have, so don't except a easy match at all."
"I know it won't be easy. My deck is strong, but I hope its strong enough."
He took a small envolope and and he replied, "I have some fire cards our gang found and bought for ourselves, but none of us used a fire deck a tall. Maybe you'll find them useful."
He opened the envolope and inside was 6 different fire monsters and she looked at them all and she smiled and replied, "My fire deck will be better then ever with these! Thank you."
Slade then replied, "Anytime. Want to have some coffee and donuts before the others show up?"
"That sounds wonderful. Let me get some sweatpants and a better shirt on and I'll meet in the coffee shop."
"Sounds good to me."

Later that night, the hostages were feasting on food brought to them by James and Tatiana themselves and it was some burgers plus some fries and sodas to drink as well.
Shade then replied, "For being creeeps, they make decent chefs."
Carly then replied, "I enjoyed mine as well."
Sebastian then replied, "Can't wait for Zander to fianlly go down and I heard he's dueling that Colton guy."
Shade then replied, "Thats Zander's best friend and one the best card makers in the world. He never told us about this until his duel against one of former men a while back ago."
Carly then replied, "If he's a card counterfeiter, he could be making any kind of damn card at any time. We need to be ready for anything at anytime. With all the cards he can make, you'll never know what that jerk uses in a duel."
Sebastian then replied, "We just need to hope that Christina can beat anything Colton sends her way."

That next night, Colton and Christina were standing across from each other.
Zander then replied, "You won't beat me friend at all, girl. He has one of the best and well-made decks in the game."
Christina then replied, "Still dueling him."
Zander then replied, "Your funeral, kid."
Both duelists activated their duel disks and drew 5 cards apiece.
"Game on!", both yelled out.
(Colton LP: 8000 - Christina LP: 8000)
Christina drew a card and replied, "I'lll begin with 1 monster facedown and 1 card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Colton drew a card and replied, "I'll summon my Luster Dragon!"
As he sat the card down, the beautiful dragon of crystals appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"Attack his facedown monster!"
The dragon let out its flames and a UFO Turtle appeared on the card (DEF: 1,200) and it blew up when the flames struck it, sending hot pieces of metal all over the ground and then she replied, "I bring forth my Bird of Fiery Faith!"
As she sat the card down, a beautiful bird with red & orange feathers appeared with a caw (ATK: 1,500).
Slade then replied, "Thats a remake of Faith Bird."
Ginny then replied, "Very intresting."
"If you say so. That'll end my turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "I now bring forth my Fireskull Bird!"
As she sat the card down, another beautiful bird with sharp talons and bright-red and orange feathers appeared (ATK: 1,550).
"My two monsters are remakes of Faith Bird and Skull Red Bird, so, I can play Polymerization to fuse both of them together!"
As the spell card appeared and they flew and merged together, a more larger and beautiful bird appeared with a mighty caw (ATK: 2,300).
"This is my Crimson Sunbird!"
Ginny then replied, "Haven't seen it in a while."
Slade nodded and replied, "Quite a useful monster."
"Now, attack his Luster Dragon with Crimson Sunblast!"
The beast began to flapped its wings like crazy and a huge tornado made of hot flames formed and it shot out and struck, engulfing the dragon in a fiery storm and then as the flames died down, all that remained of the dragon was a charred pile of bones (Colton LP: 8000 - 7600).
"Your turn now, Colton."
Colton drew a card and replied, "I'll play Dragon Shrine. I can now discard any dragon from my deck to the graveyard."
He took a Meteor Dragon and discarded it and then he reshuffled and replied, "Since it was a Normal Dragon I just discarded it, I can discard another one."
He took a Mirage Dragon and discarded it and then he reshuffled and replied, "I'll set a monster and 1 card facedown and thats my turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and I'll attack your facedown monster!"
The mighty bird flapped its wings again and a Hunter Dragon appeared on the card (DEF: 100) before it was burnt to a crisp by the flames.
"Okay..then. I end my turn now."
Colton drew a card and replied, "I now summon my Hieratic Dragon of Gebeb!"
As she sat the card down, a large dragon sculpted out of gold appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Hieratic Dragons?", a confused Kelly asked.
Ginny nodded and replied, "A very powerful set of dragons. They're all dragons of light and each of them have some of the most powerful abilities when used with Normal monsters."
"Next, I play Shrink!"
Suddenly, the fusion shrank (ATK: 2,300 - 1,150).
"Now, attack it."
The dragon charged and punched the bird and it screeched in pain before it exploded into a burst of orange feathers (Christina LP: 8000 - 7350).
"When Gebeb destroys a monster in battle, I can special summon any Dragon Normal monster from my deck, hand or graveyard and I'll choose my deck and select my Hieratic Seal of the Sun Dragon Overlord!"
As she sat the card down, a large golden sphere appeared in mid-air (DEF: 0).
Kelly then replied, "That thing kinds looks like the Winged Dragon of Ra's sealed form!"
Ginny nodded and replied, "It certainly does look like it."
"I end my turn with 1 facedown card."
Christina drew a card and replied, "I activate the mighty Dark Hole!"
The spell appeared.
Colton then replied, "Actually, you won't be doing so. I activate my Hieratic Seal of Reflection."
The trap appeared.
"I just tribute a Hieratic monster and your spell or trap is negated."
As the huge sphere vanished into particles, the spell card shattered into pixels.
"Dang it. I'll set another monster and I'll let you attack now."
Colton drew a card and replied, "I now summon my Hieratic Dragon of Nuit."
as he sat the card down, a large dragon with sharp-looking wings appeared (ATK: 1,700).
"I'll activate the effect of my Hieratic Dragon of Su and tribute a Hieratic monster to summon it."
As Nuit screeched and vanished, a larger and blue-skinned dragon appeared (ATK: 2,200).
"Lets do it. Su, attack!"
The dragon roared and launched a burst of golden flames and a Flamvell Paun appeared on the card (DEF: 200) before the flames burnt it to a crisp and then he took a monster monster from his graveyard and placed it in his hand.
"Geheb, your turn."
The dragon went in and a Charcoal Inpachi appeared on the card (DEF: 2,100) and it punched it and nothing happened to the Pyro (Colton LP: 7600 - 7300) and he sighed and replied, "Damn it. I end my turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "I tribute my Inpachi for my Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch!"
As the charcoal monster shattered into black dust, the titan of flames appeared (ATK: 2,400).
"Lets see..discard your far right card!"
Suddenly, the chosen card was dark red and he turned it around and it was a 2nd Nuit and he discarded it (Colton LP: 7300 - 6900).
"Now, destroy his Su with Firestorm Barrage!"
The monarch opened its hands and launched a huge barrage of flames and it shot out and struck, stiking the dragon and then it collapsed into a pile of hot ash (Colton LP: 6900 - 6700).
"There you go. I end my turn now."
Colton drew a card and repleid, "I'll set a new monster facedown and switch Gebeb to defense and I'll also set a card and that'll end my turn now."
Suddenly, the humanoid dragon knelt (DEF: 400).
Christina drew a card and replied, "I summon my Flamvell Firedog!"
As she sat the card down, the fiery beast appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"Time to burn it up. Thestalos, attack!"
The monarch launched its hot flames and they struck, roasting Gebeb into a pile of hot ash.
"Firedog, attack!"
The hellhound shot its flames out and a Grey Wing appeared (DEF: 300) and was burned to a cinder as the flames struck it.
"When Flamvell Firedog destroys a monster, I can special summon a fire monster from my deck with 200 defense points or less and I choose my Flame Tiger!"
As she sat the card down, the fiery tusked tiger appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"attack him directly!"
The beast launched its flames and it struck him in the chest (Colton LP: 6700 - 4900).
"There you go. I end my turn now."
Colton drew a card and replied, "First, I play a 2nd Dragon's Shrine."
He took a monster and discarded it to his graveyard and he replied, "I just discarded a Hieratic Seal of the Dragon King which is a gemini monster and now a normal monster and I'll discard another card."
He took another monster and discarded it and then he replied, "I play Silent Doom to bring it back."
Suddenly, a large creature sphere-like creature appeared (DEF: 0).
"Next, I summon my Bright Star Dragon!"
As he sat the card down, a dragon with glowing skin appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"I use his ability to give himself 2 more levels!"
It began to glow (LV: 4 - 6).
"I now overlay my 2 Level 6 dragons!"
The two monsters turned into large golden orbs and a portal opened up, which they flew into.
"I use these to build the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon! Appear before me...Hieratic Dragon King of Atum!"
As he sat the card down, a much larger and more beautiful dragon of light appeared and it had purple wings (ATK: 2,400).
Zander then replied, "One of the most beautiful monsters I ever seen."
"I remove 1 Xyz Material monster to special summon a dragon monster from my deck and I choose my 2nd Seal!"
Suddenly, the large dragon sphere appeared (ATK: 0).
"I now activate my facedown Hieratic Seal of Banishment! I just offer a Hieratic monster and then one of your cards is banished!"
As the sphere cracked and broke apart, pieces of the sphere shot out and stabbed into the monarch's chest and it groaned before vanishing into a cloud of fiery smoke.
"Now, smash her Firedog!"
The dragon opened its mouth and launched d a huge burst of light and it shot out and struck, blowing Flamvell Firedog to little pieces (Christina LP: 7350 - 6850).
"There you go. I end my turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "I'll switch my monster to defense and then I'll set a monster facedown and 1 card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Coltron drew a card and replied, "I'll activate Poison of an Old Man!"
Suddenly, he began to glow (Colton LP: 4900 - 6100).
"Next, I play Atums ability once again!"
As he took the Bright Star Dragon and discarded it, Dragon Dwelling in the Cave appeared (ATK: 0).
"I offer it for my Kabuki Dragon!"
As the sleeping dragon vanished, a large japanese-like dragon appeared with a roar (ATK: 2,300).
"Lets do it. Kabuki Dragon, attack that Flame Tiger!"
The head of the mighty dragon opened and launched a burst of hot flames and light and it shot out and Flame Tiger rose to attack postion (ATK: 1,800) bofore the attack reduced it to a cloud of fiery smoke (Christina LP: 6850 - 6250).
"That was my guys ability and when you attack a monster I control, I can change its postion before any damage is done. Atum, attack!"
Thr dragon launched its golden flames and a large blackened creature appeared (DEF: 1,200) before the blast blew it into a cloud of smoky ash and then she replied, "Thanks to the Thing in the Creater, I can now special summon any Pyro from my hand and I choose my Blazing Inpachi!"
Suddenly, the fiery idol appeared (ATK: 1,850).
"Whatever you say. I'll set a card and that'll end my turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "I play Treasured Cards from Heaven!"
Both drew until they each had 6 cards in their hands.
"Next, I play my facedown Call of the Haunted!"
Suddenly, Crimson Sunbird flew back onto the field (ATK: 2,300).
"I now play De-Fusion!"
Suddenly, the sunbird vanished and was replaced with the two fiery birds (ATK: 1,500) - (ATK: 1,550).
"Next, I summon my Gaia Soul the Combustive!"
As she sat the card down, a ugly Pyro with large eye appeared (ATK: 2,000).
"Next, I overlay my 2 birds and my Blazing Inpachi!"
The 3 monsters turned into fiery red orbs and then a portal opened up, which they flew into.
"I use these monsters to build the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon! Appear before me..Freza the Fire Princess!"
As she sat the card down, a beautiful tan-skinned warrior appeared while wearing a fiery red dress appeared with a katana that was covered fire (ATK: 2,300).
"Next, I banish 1 fire monster to bring out my Inferno!"
As she took the Thing in the Crater and banished, the blue-eyed bonfire appeared (ATK: 1,100).
"I now overlay these two Level 4 Pyro monsters!"
Like with the first 3 monsters, these monsters turned into fiery red orbs as well and a portal opened up, which they flew into.
"I use these monsters as well to build the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon! Appear before me..Infernal Flame Vixen!"
As she sat the card down, the demon-like pyro woman appeared with its scythe made of flames (ATK: 2,200).
Kelly then replied, "Man, she just Xyz Summoned two monsters this turn! Awesome."
Ginny then replied, "She is a fire master."
"Next, I play Xyz Treasure Chest! Since I Xyz Summon two monsters with a Rank 4 or higher, I can draw 2 cards!"
She did so and replied, "Next, I play Forbidden Chalice on your kabuki!"
Suddenly, the dragon roared (ATK: 2,300 - 2,700).
"Now for each Xyz Material monster Freza has, all monsters except herself gain 200 attack for each one!"
Suddenly, Vixen began to glow (ATK: 2,200 - 2,800).
"Next, I remove 1 of her Xyz Monsters to drain the attack of one of your monsters and I choose your Kabuki Dragon!"
As she took the Bird of Fiery Faith and removed it, Kabuki Dragon roared in pain (ATK: 2,700 - 1,350) (ATK: 2,800 - 2,600).
"Next, I remove a Xyz Material monster from my Vixen to give her 500 attack!"
As she took the Gaia Soul and discarded it, she glowed (ATK: 2,200 - 2,700) (ATK: 2,600 - 3,100).
"Lets do it. Vixen, attack Atum!"
The Pyro swung her weapon and a wave of hot flames shot out and struck the Xyz and it screeched in pain before it exploded into fiery sparks of colorful light.
"Freza, go for Kabuki!"
The warrior went and made a swift slash with her sword, cutting Kabuki Dragon in twain. The two pieces fell to the ground and dissolved into light (Colton LP: 6100 - 4450).
Ginny then replied, "She's doing really good right now.
"Take that! I end my turn now."
Coltron drew a card and replied, "I play Limit Reverse!"
Suddenly, the giant Sphere appeared (ATK: 0).
"Next, I play Ancient Rules!"
Suddenly, Rabbidragon appeared (ATK: 2,950).
"Now, I overlay them both!"
Both turned into large golden orbs and a portal opened up, which they flew into.
"I use these monsters to build the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon! Appear before me..Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis!"
As sat the card down, a huge dragon appeared with a mighty roar (ATK: 3,000).
Kelly groaned and replied, "She's in trouble now. That thing is wicked strong and its effect is nasty as well!"
"I use one Xyz Material monster and discard the two dragons in my hand to destroy your two monsters!"
As discarded the Rabbidragon and took a 2nd Kabuki Dragon and 2nd Luster Dragon and discarded them, the dragon let a HUGE wave of orange flames and it shot out, blowing both of Christina's Xyz monsters into clouds of fiery smoke & ash and Christina replied, "Since you destroyed my Vixen while she had 2,500 or more attack, I get to banish 3 monsters from your graveyard and I Choose your Rabbidragon, Geheb and your Su!"
He took the monsters and banished them and he replied, "No big deal. Attack her directly!"
The mighty dragon let out the fiery wave again and it struck her (Christina LP: 6250 - 3250).
"There you go. I'll end my turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "I'll set a couple of cards and 1 monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Colton drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and I'll attack your facedown monster!"
The dragon launched its wave of flames and a Fencing Fire Ferret on the card (DEF: 600)!
"DAMN IT!"
Suddenly, the fire blast reduced it to tiny shards and then the dragon roared in pain before it exploded into a globules of fiery light (Colton LP: 4450 - 3950).
"Damn, damn, damn. I end my turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "I banish my Ferret for my Spirit of Flames!"
As she banished the card that was just destroyed, the demon-like Pyro appeared (ATK: 1,700).
"Next, I summon my Flamvell Archer!"
As she sat the card down, the fiery archer appeared (ATK: 1,100).
"I now tune my 2 monsters together!"
Archer glowed as it split into 2 white stars, which turned into green rings and the rings went through Spirit of the Flames, which turned into 4 white stars. As this was happening, Christina raised her hands and began to chant:
"A fiery warrior that was formed in a large volcano appears in a fiery blaze of glory! It uses its fiery firsts to incinerate its enemies! Synchro Summon! Burn it up...Flamvell Urquizas!"
As she sat the card down, the fiery Pyro warrior appeared (ATK: 2,100).
"Now, attack his facedown monster!"
The Pyro went in and a Hunter Dragon appeared on the card (DEF: 700) and with one punch, the small dragon was blown to pieces (Colton LP: 3950 - 2550).
"Its your turn now."
Colton drew a card and replied, "To summon my next card, I have to banish 3 Normal Dragons!"
As he took his Hunter Dragon, Luster Dragon and one of the Hieratic seals and banished it, a large golden dragon appeared with a mighty roar (ATK: 2,800).
"Meet the mighty Hieratic Dragon of Sutekh!"
Ginny then replied, "This guy is really good.
"Damn right I am. I banish 1 Dragon monster to destroy one of your cards!"
The dragon let out a golden burst of flames and shot out, blowing Urquizas to shards.
"Direct attack!"
The dragon let out another burst of gold flames and it shout and struck her down (Christina LP: 3250 - 450).
Colton smiled and replied, "Almost have this duel done and over with! I end my turn now."
Christina drew a card and replied, "I banish 2 Fire monsters to bring out my Blaster, Dragon Ruler of Infernos!"
As she took the Flamvell Archer and Flamvell Firedog and banished them, a huge fiery dragon appeared (ATK: 2,800).
"Next, I summon my Great Angus!"
As she sat the card down, the fiery tusked beast appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Next, I play my Circle of the Fire Kings!"
As Great Angus shattered into burning embers, Freza appeared with her sword raised in the air (ATK: 2,300).
"Next, I play Gift of the Martyr!"
Suddenly, Blaster vanished into a cloud of fiery embers and they flew into the Xyz (ATK: 2,300 - 5,200).
Christina then replied, "I win! Freza, attack and finish this guy off!"
He charged in and made a quick heavy slice of his sword, cutting Sutekh in twain. The two pieces caught on fire and burned to ashes (Colton LP: 2550 - 0).
Ginny smiled and replied, "She did it!"
Kelly smiled and replied, "We're are doing good!"
Zander then replied, "I guess its up to me now."
Kelly then replied, "I'll be dueling you in a couple of days, dude!"
Zander smiled with red eyes and replied, "I look foward to it."

Once per turn: You can remove 1 Xyz Material monster from this card and banish 1 FIRE monster from your graveyard to target one monster your opponet controls; That selected monsters current ATK & DEF is halved (permantly). You can only control 1 "Freza the Fire Princess" at a time.
