A/N: For all of the Rachel Berry fans, this chapter is for you! I changed some of the lyrics around in a couple of songs to fit the chapter better. Also, stay tune for a bonus scene at the end of the chapter! Hope you enjoy!

Chapter 11: Makeover

(Rachel's Room)

Rachel sat down at her desk, trying to concentrate on her homework, but her heart just wasn't in it. How can it be with a paper on the Revolutionary War? Who cares on what happened over two hundred years ago? What was really important that Rachel needed to focus all of her energy and concentration on was: One, getting her Alpha Female role of the New Directions back from Cassidy once and for all. And two, somehow, Rachel needed to find a way to win Finn over and have him be her boyfriend, instead of going out with that Barbie Doll!

Yeah, that was easier said than done. Ever since Rachel took over - made improvements - when she joined the Glee Club last year in her Freshman Year. Rachel had always been the Alpha Female, even when Mr. Schue took over the Glee Club this year, she was still the Alpha Female.

Rachel had a two week tryout, last year when she went to Principle Figgins about possibly taking over the Morning Announcements. And as alwyas, she did an amazing job, if Rachel did say so herself. She brought music to the people to start their day off on a positive note after hearing her lovely singing voice. Kurt was so impressed by her talent, that he even invited her to Glee Club!

And ever since then, Rachel had always been the one in charge. She even whipped that Glee Club into shape for the annual Fall In Love Music Recital! The Cheerios had tried to sabotage their performance but the Glee Club did manage to impress the school (even if the Cheerios refuse to admit it) at the Freshman Dance. Principle Figgins even asked the Glee Club to perform at the Under the Sea dance for the crowning of the King and Queen for the under classman (all thanks to Rachel's Leadership).

But the thing with Finn, yes he's a Jock and the Captain of the Football Team, but that wasn't why Rachel was so attracted to him. Finn was a sweet guy and the two of them kept having these . . . moments. Rachel knew that she wasn't just imagining them, those moments when Finn stopped just to talk to her! They were real! Heck, she even impressed Finn so much that he even stepped in to the Auditorium just to hear her sing!

Rachel could tell that there wasn't really anything between Finn and Quinn. He wouldn't have told Rachel earlier this year before the Homecoming Game that he couldn't go on stage and sing like she could. Well, Finn had gotten his wish! He could sing and really well (with a little more training maybe even pro) and he would be up on stage, singing his heart out, with Rachel!

Feeling down in the dumps, and abandoning her homework, she can easily do it in Mr. Roberts' class (he'll never notice the difference anyway). Rachel opened her desk drawer and pulled out her book. It was the size of pocket drawing book you could find at the local book store, with a front and back black cover. Rachel bought it for herself and decided to make it her Inspiration book to look at and add too, when she found stuff to get her inspiration going and to fully focus on her ultimate dream: Broadway.

The book was covered in Gold Stars, in the middle of the book, with pink letters and outlined with gold was the word, INSPRITATION. Rachel opened her book to the first page, all different kinds of color stars outlined the page. In her handwriting, the page itself, had all the things that inspired Rachel. Pageants, Talent Shows, School Theater Productions, School Dances, Class President, Local Theater Productions, TV Shows/Series, Movies. And last but certainly not least, with a dozen gold stars all around it and written in gold ink was the word, Broadway!

Rachel closed her eyes and smiled as she envisioned herself, center stage on the grandest stage of all of acting, Broadway. Spotlight on her performing as Fanny Brice from Funny Girl or performing as Maria from Westside Story. Rachel opened her eyes, smiling brightly as she looked upon her picture collage in her hands. The word Dream, she found in a picture and sticker book was on the left hand corner, a gold star on the right hand corner. And in the middle of each page were all the great performers Rachel admired as she continued to flip through her Inspiration book. Great performers like, Marlyn Monroe, Madonna, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Patti Lupone, Idina Menzel, Lea Michele (everyone in Rachel's family kept telling her that she, Rachel, could easily pass off as Lea's younger sister). And the one performer whom inspired Rachel to become a Broadway Star when she was five years old, her idol: Ms. Barbra Streisand.

They were all there in her little black Inspiration book. For her to look at and remember that the road to Stardom was never easy. You have to be able to take the bad with the good and no one made it successful without a lot of bumps in the road. There will be someone out there who will deliberately try to trash you, simply because you're just better than them. And their more than obviously just supremely jealous of your talent and success. But Rachel knew that there were some extremely harsh and tough critics out there that no matter what. They will do nothing but give you a horrible review, just for the sake of giving a horrible review. And unfortunately, Rachel knew very well that with the internet, video blogs, and a lot of other social Medias out there. One bad review from a harsh critic could easily persuade many others' views as well. But Rachel was a firm believer in, if you have the talent than you could wow, even the harshest, bitter, critic.

Rachel paused for a moment, and then she picked up her book again and quickly flipped through it until she reached the near back of the book. Rachel will deny it all the way to her grave, but there was someone she secretly admired, (well admired might not be the right word), would love (even if it was just for one day), to be. There staring and standing right in front of Rachel, towards the back of her Inspiration book, was a picture of Quinn Fabray. Yes, the Ice Queen Bee, Captain of the Cheerleading Team, Blond, and the most sought out popular girl, whom made Rachel's high school years a living Hell, was in her Inspiration book. And Rachel would love have a life like that!

Quinn had it all. She was a Cheerleader, the perfect model size 2 (a size 3 if she skive on her diet for one summer). Two popular (but not as pretty) sidekick friends, who did whatever you said and want, with a snap of your finger. Teachers, who loved and adored you, and had no problem with handing out grades. Boys, longing to be and get with you and girls longing to be just like you and follow you in your footsteps. And having Finn as her boyfriend!

Rachel wanted all of that. She wanted the teachers to love her for being really smart and knew all the answers to all the questions they asked. Not to have teachers, who would just sigh and have a deadpan voice when they called on her, when Rachel raised her hand to answer the questions. Rachel wanted to have friends who would have your back and not back out at the last minute and talk behind your back when you're getting ready for a performance. Yes, Rachel knew that the Glee kids talked behind her back. She tried to not let it get to her, especially since a few of them were there last year, but it still didn't mean. That it didn't hurt! Rachel would love to have girls who would want to be like her. It was only a matter of time before she gets her first Tony Award, has fans all over the world flocking to her shows and would flock right to her front door for an autograph. But it would be nice just to know what that felt like, so she could be prepared for when it did happen.

Rachel would never admit this, and the only one who knew it besides her, was her diary. But Rachel would love to be a Cheerio. It was so stupid but Rachel loved how they could have the audience, the crowd, and the different school teams, in the putty of their hands. Not to mention, the shape you had to be in for the over the top routines Coach Sylvester did. Last year, Rachel wanted to try out for the Cheerios, just so she could . . . Just get a taste of the glamorous life of Quinn Fabray. And just like any other role that Rachel would be preparing for, she made sure she did her homework.

The Cheerios had a YouTube Channel with all of their competitions and performances. And it scared the crap out of Rachel. It wasn't the dance routines, that would have been a piece of cake, with all the vocal and dance training she had over the years. No, what scared Rachel out of her mind (okay, it really intimated her) was all of the gymnastics and flexibility you needed to be a Cheerio.

There was no way Rachel could do a full split (she got an A for effort from the Gym Teacher). She couldn't do a high kick split (tore one her favorite pair of jeans when she tried it years ago). She couldn't do a full cartwheel (let's not go there). She couldn't do a successful backflip multiple times like that (yikes!). And there was absolutely no way, Rachel was strong enough to throw someone into the air, or to even catch someone. Or to even climb to the top of the human pyramid (she's not Lora Croft for Broadway sake!). So, for the first time in forever, Rachel did something she never thought she would ever do. She backed out of a challenge and pretended that she didn't know the date of the tryouts because the Cheerios told her the wrong date.

Rachel let out a frustrated sigh. There were two major things standing in her way, from her ultimate goal of having the best years of her High School Career: Cassidy Karofsky and Quinn Fabray.

Cassidy while unknowingly or unwillingly or not, stole Rachel's spotlight and her Alpha Female position! Nobody takes what was rightfully Rachel's to begin with and gets away with it! Nobody! There were only two good things (okay three things) that came out of Cassidy being a member of the New Directions. One, they finally have enough members for Sectionals and will be able to win (with Rachel's brilliant talent of course). Two, Rachel actually getting a lot of chances (and if she's reading all of the signs right of Finn liking her) to spend a lot of time with Finn. And three, the crash and burn of Quinn's popularity with the whole pregnancy scandal (oh, okay so that was bit harsh but Quinn deserved it!).

But the question remains. How could Rachel get her Alpha Female role back and prove once and for all, that she, Rachel Berry, was and forever will be, McKinley's top Diva?

Rachel had always dreamed of getting out of Lima, going to New York, getting accepted into Juilliard, NYADA, and quite possibly even Trinity! And most importantly of all, being a Star on Broadway. But now, Rachel could just feel all of her chances of becoming a Broadway Star slipping right through her fingers! Broadway's spotlight was fading fast all because of Cassidy! She stole Rachel's spotlight! How could Rachel get accepted into all of those amazing Performing Arts Colleges without having every single solo to show case her unbelievably amazing talent? How would the New Directions survive without Rachel leading them all, by the way of showing them, all how it's done right?

Rachel let out another frustrated sigh, before slamming her Inspiration book closed and kicking her chair out. This wasn't helping her. Oh alright, so she's being a little over dramatic, so sue her. Rachel went over to her closet and stood in front of her full length mirror. How did this year suddenly go south? She was the Star! She was the Leader! She helped whipped that dreadful, waste of talent (and she'll use the term loosely) Show Choir in to shape!

They were in dire need of help! Somebody had to shape them up, for a harsh and cruel battle to win at all cost to be at the top. Kurt would not have invited her if they didn't need more talented people to make them look good on their applications. Come on, ever since Rachel took over, they went from no bodies to, well okay. The Glee Club was still no bodies as far as being invited to the cool kids parties, but they're not mediocre anymore. And it was all thanks to one Rachel Barbra Berry.

Rachel looked herself in the mirror from head to toe and smiled a bit. She might be a bit of a "Plain Jane" compare to Quinn. But Rachel liked how she looked. She by far, was in good shape with tone legs and arms. And it was all thanks to her early morning and afternoon workout routine on the Elliptical that her Dads bought her as a fifteenth birthday present for her. The results were un-canning, a size eight to a size six in just a year.

But what had Rachel down in the dumps more so than losing her spotlight to the Wannabe, was Finn. The signs were there, Rachel knew she was reading them right. Finn telling Rachel how good she sounded, talking to her, opening up to her.

Last year, the Cheerios had defaced all of the posters for the Fall in Love Music Recital and then pranked the Glee Club by sabotaging their performance. And then everyone in the Glee Club turned their backs on her! Maybe Rachel should have transferred to a performance arts school, when she had the chance, but she liked being the most talented Diva in all of McKinley. She loved being just the only one that everyone looked up too because she was obviously just way more talented than them. Plus, she looked and sounded so much better with a bunch of mediocre singers as backup singers.

But after all that, Rachel stayed at McKinley, maybe because she would be without a shadow of a doubt. Just be a dime a dozen trying to get into Juilliard, or NYADA or Trinity, if she attended a performing arts school. However, another reason why Rachel decided to stay was because of Finn. He stayed behind waiting for her, pretending to be getting a drink just to talk to her! Finn told Rachel that he hoped that the rumor about her transferring to another school wasn't true.

Finn went out of his way to talk to Rachel, to see about her staying at McKinley! Not even the Glee Club did that! Hell, nobody but Finn even bothered to talk to her, let alone to even see about trying to convince her to stay. Everyone just thought good riddance to that know-it-all Berry. But Finn, he went out of his way and convinced her to stay.

Rachel told Mr. Schue that she needed a boy who could keep up with her. Whom could help lead a mediocre team of singers and he found Finn! And Finn joined the Glee Club and even asked Rachel out on a date! If things between him and Quinn were so good, like everyone kept saying they were with all of their blinders on. Than Finn and Rachel would never have spoken to each other. He would never had joined Glee Club. And he would have never asked her out or even talked to her to see about her staying at McKinley!

Which brought Rachel back to her dilemma, how to win Finn over? Rachel fully looked herself over in the mirror. Yes, she loved the way she looked but maybe the whole "Plain Jane" look that she did very well, showing off her own natural beauty and show casing her incredible talent. Maybe, that wasn't what Finn went for.

Quinn, was a natural blond, and didn't wear that much makeup. She stood tall and bossed everyone around. Rachel did the same thing, only no one would ever listen to her. They just groan, complained, rolled their eyes, and stormed off, like what Rachel said to them was extremely offensive or something.

Rachel decided to look through her closet, but nothing was pretty enough, fancy enough or just popped enough, to make her pretty enough to impress Finn. Maybe, what the kids at school said about her attire was true. The plaid skirts, the knee high stockings and the puffy blouses just looked more like she transferred from a private school and just didn't bother with changing her outfits. It was enough for her to get an audition and to get the parts she really wanted, but not with getting Finn's attention.

Rachel hated to admit it, but what she needed was a makeover. She needed a new wardrobe, but there was absolutely no way that her Dads would give her any money just to impress a boy. Even though that boy was someone she was desperately in loved with. No, Rachel needed to find a way to do this all on her own. Wait. There was a way to get a new wardrobe and to impress Finn, all at the same time. Rachel, along with Tina and Kurt, was in Art Club and was also in Sewing/Fashion Club. Yes, that's it! Rachel joined the Art Club to help with her artistic side. But she joined the Sewing/Fashion Club to know what the best fashion was for Broadway and to make her own fashion statement once she stepped out onto that red carpet on her Broadway debut.

Rachel could easily make her own new wardrobe and use that to impress Finn! She quickly went to her desk and grabbed her tablet. Rachel had a program in her tablet to help her with drawing fashion (she can't draw people really well). With that Rachel decided to make a few dresses that could easily impress Finn while at the same time, would go really well with some of the other clubs she joined as well. Yes! This will be what will make Finn Hudson notice Rachel Berry. And soon it will no longer be Finn and Quinn, but it will be Finn and Rachel, Finchel! Oh yeah, that sounded good, Finchel. For when Finn and Rachel finally became a couple. But right now, it was time to go to work on designing her brand new wardrobe.

(Sewing/Fashion Club)

Rachel walked in to Sewing/Fashion Club with a huge smile on. Even though she only had about four to five hours of sleep and was practically on her second cup of coffee (yes, you read it right readers. COFFEE!). Rachel stayed up half the night making her designs for her brand new wardrobe. A brand new wardrobe for her makeover that would lead to impressing Finn. Than that would lead to Finn and Quinn breaking up. Than that would lead to Finn being with Rachel, becoming the ultimate power couple in all of Show Choir and McKinley history! Than Rachel would once again be McKinley's all-time top Diva! With all that in mind (and the ever growing smile on Rachel's face) Rachel went to work.

(Rachel)

Thread by thread, stitching it together

This dress sparkles like the Twilight

Cutting out the pattern snip by snip

Making sure the fabric folds nicely

It's the perfect color and so hip

Always gotta keep in mind my pacing

Making sure the clothes' correctly facing

I'm stitching the perfect evening gown dress

-

Rachel had her dress on the mannequin make sure it was perfect. She was surprised that she didn't get any snide remarks from Kurt, but then again he was probably just at a lost for at how perfectly gorgeous her new evening gown was. Perfect for impressing Finn on their first date together as a couple. Rachel glanced over at her work station and saw that she had a more dresses to make.
-

(Rachel)

Yard by yard, fussing on the details

Jewel neckline, don't you know a stitch in time saves nine?

Making something perfect so that others will be inspired

Even though I'm not big on semi-formal or even formal attire

I gotta mind those intimate details

Even though I'm more concerned with my Broadway career

Then with the Garden Club sales

It's my new Nature's Dress

Rachel stepped away from her new dress she just finished. It still needed a last minute sprucing up but it did look really good. It was green with different spring flowers that Rachel loved so much. It was simple but it was still unique enough to get Finn's attention. Then Rachel will definitely have the ultimate High School experience with a wonderful boyfriend on her arm, like Finn. She decided to get and do the other dresses as well. She'll definitely get Finn's attention and have him as her boyfriend. Then Rachel will have it all.

(Rachel)

Dressmaking's easy, for school days something pink?

For the Glee Club something breezy

Blend color and form

-
Rachel turned to a picture framed of her idol, Barbra. "Do you think this looks cheesy?"

(Rachel)

Something brash, perhaps quite fetching

Hook and eye, couldn't you just simply die?

Making sure it fits forelock and crest

But don't forget there's magic in the dress

Even though it will ride high on my flank

At least I won't be looking like a walking tank

I'm stitching my makeover's dress

-
Rachel loved how the dress looked like it was a tie-died dress! It had a lot of different but fun and cheery colors. Rachel knew that it was more of tribute to the seventies with a bit of today's fashions but she could easily pull it off. Not just any girl could look good in multi-color outfit or in this case a multi-color dress.
-

(Rachel)

Piece by piece, snip by snip

Croup, dock, haunch, shoulders, hip

Thread by thread, primed and pressed

Yard by yard, never stressed

And that's the art of the dress!

(Rachel's Room)

Rachel sat down at her dresser getting ready for bed with a huge smile on her face. She finished all of her dresses and they looked fabulous! Simply fabulous, if Rachel did say so herself. There was absolutely no way her dresses would not be able to get Finn's attention, now! Now, he'll have to pay attention to her! And pretty soon, Rachel will have Finn as her boyfriend! Rachel also knew that with Finn on her arm and how wonderful she'll look with her makeover. Not to mention, how spectacular, her singing voice was. She could quite possibly become popular! Maybe even more so then the Unholy Trio!

Rachel worked really hard on her designs and she knew that if anyone wanted too. They would have tried to sabotage her designs by now. Heck, not even Kurt made any nasty remarks about her new dresses the whole time she was making them. And that, that had to be a sign! If the Fashion Guru of McKinley didn't make a single nasty snide remark, poke fun of, or didn't even say anything bad about it. Then it had to be a good sign, right?

Rachel kept all the dresses; she finished in the Garment Locker the school provided. It really wasn't much, but beggars can't be choosers though. There was a couple of them that needed some final touch ups and just a little bit of tweaking. Rachel would go to McKinley tomorrow, grab her dresses and do a little fashion show of her own: Showing everyone that she, Rachel Berry, personally designed and made. And then Rachel would become the talk of the whole of the school, maybe even the whole town! But right now, it was time for Rachel to head to bed and get some well deserve rest; dreaming about having Finn as her boyfriend and becoming popular.

(Girl's Bathroom)

Rachel grabbed all of her dresses ready for the grand reveal of her makeover. She put the one that had golden shimmering stars on. She was preparing her hair and makeup in the Girl's Bathroom, before she went out and strutted the halls of McKinley her new look. Ready for everyone to be dazzled by her designs and most importantly her incredibly beautiful talented voice.

(Rachel)

I'll be the toast of the school, the girl on the go

I'm the type of girl everyone, everyone should know

I'll be the one to watch, the girl in the flow

I'm the type of pony every pony, every pony should know

Rachel was on stage with her Twilight Dress she made, trying out for the part of Elphaba. The Director liked what he heard and saw with her new dress and told Rachel that she got the part. Everyone, (Finn was sitting in front row), had come to see her show at Lima Community Theater, playing the lead female role, Elphaba from Wicked!

(Rachel)

Becoming as popular as popular can be

Making my mark, making my mark in high society

I'm the belle of the ball, the star of the show, yeah

I'm the type of girl everyone, everyone should know

Rachel was in the Auditorium helping Mr. Schue and the rest of the New Directions with tryouts. Thanks to Rachel's brilliant performance, the New Directions had snag first place trophies in Sectionals, Regionals and at Nationals! Now, as the Captain of the New Directions, it was her decision whether or not certain individuals would join the Club or not, based on their performances.

(Rachel)

See how they hang on every word that I speak

My approving glance is what they all seek

I'm the crème de la crème, not just another Jane Doe

I'm the type of girl everyone should know

Someone had gotten Rachel tickets to the Broadway show Frozen. She even had gotten invited to all of the populars parties to be their entertainment and to give them advice on how to improve their performance in singing, dancing and acting.

(Rachel)

At home, at the Broadway show, at a fancy party

Becoming the talk, the talk of all of McKinley

I'm the crème de la crème, not just another Jane Doe, yeah

I'm the type of girl everyone, everyone should know

Rachel sat at her desk with a huge smile on her face. She had her laptop out and was finishing up on updating her MySpace and Facebook accounts. She had a pile of applications to all the finest performing arts schools in the US that she was going to talk to her boyfriend Finn about. One of them was her ticket out of Lima and to her road to Broadway Stardom. It was also the key to her's and Finn's future together.

She's a juvenile scam.

Never was a quitter,

Tasty like a raindrop,

Rachel hit the off button of her radio alarm clock, 6AM it read. It was time for her to get up and do her early morning workout routine. Normally, Rachel wouldn't listen to a Classic Rock Radio Station, it just wasn't her style. But Finn liked it and every now and then, Rachel would find a song she really did like and would complemented her voice extremely well. Rachel smiled as she got up, for today.

Today was the day. Today Rachel wasn't going to be just another Jane Doe or another "Plain Jane." No, today was the day that Rachel Berry would do her own makeover: By modeling her very own dresses, she personally designed! Today Rachel would strut down the halls of McKinley. People would stop and stare and point, all because of how gorgeous Rachel looked in her own designs. Today Rachel will go from a nobody to a somebody! Everyone at MHS would be talking about her!

Rachel got dressed in her workout outfit for her early morning exercise routine. She then plugged in her IPod in to her Elliptical and began her workout. She knew the perfect song for today.

She's got the look!

After her thirty minute workout, Rachel felt re-energized. Her muscles ache a bit but it was a good ache. She was getting her body ready for her Broadway debut! And you needed to look your absolute best when auditioning and when she goes down that Red Carpet accepting her Tony Award. Rachel went to her closet to find an outfit she would be wearing before her grand entrance at McKinley; with her brand new wardrobe and headed for a well deserve shower.

(Kitchen)

Rachel sat at the Kitchen Table, eating breakfast and drinking tea with her Dads. Scramble eggs made from beat yokes (much healthier for you), turkey bacon (for her Dads), grapefruit, toast and English muffins. A good healthy breakfast to start off the day.

"You seem pretty excited about something honey," Hiram said as he finished his coffee before he and his husband had to head to work.

"Yes, care to share with us what about, Sweetie?" LeRoy asked.

"It's a special day today," Rachel answered. "I'm finally going to have the boy I've been crushing on to notice me!"

Rachel's Dads looked at each other. They both knew that their little girl was growing up and that someday they both would be scaring off any potential boyfriend or girlfriend. They just didn't want their little girl to do something drastic just to get someone's attention. Both of them knew, what it was like back when they were in High School; trying to be liked, trying to be the best, trying to fit in. But they didn't want their little girl to change who she really was just for some boy or girl. Yes, when you're with someone you make subtle changes as any couple did.

But you shouldn't have to drastically change yourself just to get someone's attention. Especially, if that someone could easily break your heart. Hiram and LeRoy thought that Rachel knew that lesson. It looks like they might have to teach it to her, before she does something extremely drastic just to get this Finn guy's attention.

"Honey," Hiram said.

"Yes, Father?" Rachel asked looking up at her two Dads.

"Honey, your Dad and I hope that you knew. You should never have change who you really are just to impress someone," Hiram tried to explained. He and LeRoy were worried that their little girl might try to change too much just to get this boy's attention. That was something neither one of them wanted. And both of them knew that once their little had her heart and mind set on something. Than Rachel would do anything to get it, no matter what.

"I know Dads, but - but, Finn's not just some boy," Rachel tried to explain. "He's special."

How could Rachel tell her Dads about how she truly felt about Finn? How every time he smiled at her, it just seemed to brighten up her day, no matter how bad the day had been? How, when he compliments her on getting a question right, doing an excellent job on a school project, when she sang perfectly, it just made her smile more brightly? How every time Finn talked to her before they both joined Glee, he truly opened up to her, about wanting to be more than just a football player?

Finn opened up and told Rachel a lot of things that Rachel doubted that even Quinn and Puck even knew about. To them, Finn was just a dumb jock, who would go to an Ivy League school. He would play football for that school while his girlfriend was on the Cheerleading team. He then would get a boring job in Lima as a Store Manager. Than when he was married to his Cheerleading girlfriend from High School and college, aka Quinn. Than the two of them would get a house with a white picket fence and be miserable for the rest of their boring, uninteresting lives.

That's what Quinn and everyone else at McKinley, hell even in Lima thought (and planned out) about Finn's life. But Finn, he opened up and told Rachel that he wanted to be and do more than to just play football. He wanted to be more than the popular dumb jock everyone assumed and associated with and Rachel saw that! She saw how relaxed and how much more fun Finn was having with Glee Club. She saw how much he was enjoying being on stage singing his heart out. She also saw how much things weren't exactly as all perfect between Finn and Quinn as everyone kept insisting as it was.

Oh okay, so Rachel was a bit jealous of Quinn, but if things between Finn and Quinn were so good. Then he would have never voluntarily opened up to Rachel. Finn would have never even considered talking to her. Quinn wouldn't be so demanding about Finn talking to Rachel. Nor, would Quinn be hostile about Finn and Rachel just hanging out together - as friends!

"Sweetie, your Father and I are very happy that a special boy has gotten your attention," LeRoy started. "But we don't want you to change yourself just for him. We love you very much and we, both know that any boy or girl would be glad to have you as their girlfriend. But we don't to see you get hurt because they might not be the right one for you."

"I understand Dads," Rachel said disappointed. Apparently her Dads just didn't get it. Or it's been way too long for them to remember how it was when they were in High School trying to get their special boy's attention.

But then Rachel was struck by an idea. Her Dads don't want her to do this makeover to impress Finn, but that didn't mean that she couldn't do this makeover for herself. She did after all put all the work and effort in to designing and making all those dresses. It would be ashamed to not at least show everybody at school her brand new wardrobe that she worked so desperately hard on.

Plus, if she wound up getting a certain Captain of the Football Team's attention (whose girlfriend was just using him and kept treating him like he was a dog) than it certainly wasn't her fault at all. Not to mention, the New Directions might take her more seriously with a new wardrobe to show case her inner Diva. And it would be such a shame for the New Directions not to grant Rachel, her position as Leader back, now wouldn't it?

Rachel finished her breakfast and kissed her Dads before leaving the Kitchen to get her stuff ready for school. Double checking to make sure she had everything, ready. Rachel grabbed her phone and book bag and started to head out. Before Rachel reached her front door to drive to school, her phone buzzed. Informing her that she had gotten a text. Rachel clicked on the message to see what it said.

Be careful at school. The Girls Basketball team are planning a prank today. -CK.

Rachel didn't know what to think. The only C.K. she could think of was Cassidy Karofsky, but why would Cassidy be warning Rachel? Could it be? Could it be that maybe Rachel was too blinded by her own ambition that she really didn't see how nice Cassidy really was? Hhmm, nah, that couldn't be it. But still it was (and Rachel begrudgingly would admit this) nice of Cassidy to warn Rachel about a potential prank.

However, Rachel wasn't going to let some stupid, worthless, kiddy like prank ruin her day. Today, was Rachel's special day. Today Rachel would stroll down the halls of McKinley, turning everyone's head, and getting the front page of The Torch McKinley's school paper and on Jacob Ben Israel's Blog as The Best Dressed. Rachel worked really hard on her own designs and she won't let some stupid dumb jock ruin her chances of becoming popular and having Finn as her boyfriend. Rachel knew that life was a runway and you just need to go out there and flaunt your stuff.

(McKinley)

Rachel arrived at school early and headed straight for the Sewing/Fashion Club to grab all of her dresses. Remembering what the text said and not putting it past the Cheerios and the Girls Basketball team (their still bitter about Rachel telling them the truth about them having absolutely no talent) to ruin her dresses. Or worse, they did or put something in them to make her break out. Rachel checked each every single inch of every dress. She didn't find anything out of place or wrong with them, so Rachel just shrugged it off.

If they were going to do something to ruin her new wardrobe then they would have done it by now. But seeing as nothing was wrong with them, Rachel took them all and put them in her locker. Ready to be worn through the day. Rachel went to the Girl's Bathroom and got ready for the day in one of her brand new dresses to kick off this makeover!

Rachel opens the door to the Girl's Bathroom and walks out in to the bright lights in the halls of McKinley and strutted her way to her first class. She was wearing her Nature's Dress. It was green with all the different flowers Rachel loved.

Rachel went to her locker and grabbed her second dress. She went to the Girl's Bathroom to change in to it. This one was pink with diamonds and heart shaped music notes on it. She put her first dress back in to her locker and headed off to her second class.

A couple Fashionistas were impress by Rachel's new wardrobe. They started to pose and strut behind her and even took a couple pictures on their phones. No doubt texting their friends on how amazing Rachel's new look was.

Rachel went to her locker and grabbed her third dress for the day and headed for the Girl's Bathroom. She quickly changed into her vibrant rainbow color tied-died like dress. She really loved it. It was a nice tribute to the seventies with a little personal style of today!

Rachel saw Jacob Ben Israel coming up the hallway. Normally, she would cringe at the sight of him but if his position on the school paper and his blog would help Rachel reach the top of this pathetic school. Then why not use it to her advantage. Rachel smiled and strutted the halls of McKinley like it was her very own personal runway.

Rachel was stopped by Jacob Ben Israel to interview her about her new style and what inspired it. Rachel smile brightly at all the attention her new wardrobe was getting. Finally, she was getting the respect she deserved. Maybe she should have done this a long time ago. Who knows? Maybe it would have been her and Finn instead of Finn and Quinn?

Rachel went to her locker and grabbed her other dress, she was going to wear. It was the dress she thought about wearing when Finn asked her out. She had one last class with him before Glee Club so she thought about giving him a taste of how nicely Rachel can clean up for a wonderful date. It was a black form fitting dress with sequence on it that made it shimmer like twilight.

Rachel grabbed her last dress for the day. It was a special one that she personally made for herself. What better way to show everyone who the true star of Glee Club was, then with this dress? (McKinley)

The next day, Rachel strolled through the halls of McKinley with her head held high and her nose stuck up in the air. Last night, Rachel checked her MySpace and Facebook accounts and everyone just ridiculed her singing talent and her new style that she personally designed herself. Rachel tried as she might, it still stung on what most of the kids at this mediocre, un-ambition, unimaginative, un-appreciative, no-one-would-get-of-Lima-to-become-great, loser school, said from time to time. Even if they were just too cowardly to say it to her face, but that's life. Rachel would graduate from here, would be accepted at a performing arts school in New York, been given a chance to perform on Broadway, while everyone else was just wasting their lives away here in Lima.

As Rachel was heading to her locker, she noticed something. Many of the students, had a copy of The Torch and were looking up from it at Rachel as she passed by. A few of them were actually pointing at her and . . . Laughing? What would be so funny in the school paper? The comic section left a lot to be improved upon and the writers couldn't even write a comedy skit for Comedy Central. Rachel knew her fashion show was a success but that shouldn't have had people laughing at her. Having them had been inspired and having them adore her but not having them snickering at her. So, what was so funny that had everyone laughing?

The next thing Rachel knew, she was being pulled into an empty classroom. The person quickly shoved Rachel into the classroom, and began scanning the halls to see if anyone had seen what had happened.

"Hey! What's the big idea? Why did you . . . Kurt?" Rachel asked shocked when she saw who it was that grabbed her.

Kurt was acting rather weird. He put his back to the door and the breathed a sigh of relief. Than he quickly grabbed some measuring tape from a nearby desk and started to take her measurements. Once he was done, it looked like he was trying to figure something out. He then quickly went to the back of the room, pulled out a clothing rack and started to go through it. Rachel suddenly realized where she was dragged into. The Prop Room, but why? What was going on?

Rachel suddenly, found herself in a knee high pastel green dress with a sunflower button, and a white and pink lace trim, curiosity of Kurt. Rachel hated to admit this, (since they were competitors) but Kurt knew fashion like Rachel knew Funny Girl. Although she was still confused about this whole situation and she was still trying to piece together why Kurt had . . . Put a blond wig on her?

"Oh, yes. This is perfect. Now, no one would be able to recognize you, with this disguise," Kurt said smiling while he admired his work. "Of course, I do need to find where the Drama Club had kept the stage makeup, but this should do. For now at least."

"Uh, Kurt? What's going on? Why would I need a disguise for?" Rachel started.

"There you are Rachel," Mercedes said entering the Props Room. "I've been looking for all over."

"So, much for the disguise," Kurt sighed.

"Me too," Tina said.

"Us too," Quinn said with Santana and Britney in tow.

"Me three," Cassidy said coming in last. "I like your new look."

"Um, thanks. But, uh, why were you all looking for me? What's going on?" Rachel asked confused. Why was everyone at this school acting so weird? And why were the girls looking for her? And most importantly of all, why in all of Broadway, did Kurt think that she, Rachel Berry, McKinley's Glee Club Starlet, needed a disguise for?

"Oh, she hadn't seen it yet," Britney said.

"Seen what?" Rachel really didn't like being left out, kept in the dark or being the last to know anything, as usual that happens at this pathetic school.

Cassidy pulled out her mini iPad and propped it up on the desk. "Oh, it's really not that bad." Cassidy said as she hit a few buttons and brought up the school web page.

Rachel had nearly fainted from shock and embarrassment after seeing the headline of the front page: McKinley's Top 10 Best and Worst Dressed. The article went on about each individual as to why they were on the list as the Best or Worst Dressed. There on the front page of The Torch was a picture of Rachel in her tie-died dress, listed as the number one worst dressed in all of McKinley. With several different (all negative) comments and interviews of the student body, of their opinion on Rachel Berry.

"Rachel? She's the worse dressed person in the history of William McKinley High. She dresses like a five year old and a Grandmother at a nursing home, all at the same time. And if she's not dressing like that. Then she dresses like she just transferred from a private Catholic school and everyone else had forgotten the dress code."

"Who dressed her this morning? Her unknown, un-named, Hippie Mom, that no one knows the name of?"

"Rachel? She should be taking lessons on fashion from Lady Hummel. At least he knows about how to strut in style without making a scene because Berry didn't get her way." Obviously that one came from Santana.

But the one that hurt the most and was from Heidi that said, "This was clearly another one of Rachel's theateratric gimmicks just to get some attention. Rachel's obviously starving to be the center of attention, simply because she's a rotten spoil brat. Her parents had never told her no and they just let her do anything and got away with everything. I mean, she's use to everyone at home catering her and just saying yes to everything she always wanted, all the time. But now, reality has settle in and she can't stand the fact that someone else having the spotlight for a change.

And that goes for Glee Club as well. I have on good authority that she was handed [never even tried out] a solo for Sectionals. Then she just throws the biggest temper tantrum there ever was and stormed out of the Choir Room in the middle of practice. All because the Glee kids had told her no. The she had to audition like everyone else in the Club did."

There are strong and unconfirmed rumors about Rachel Berry not only being bossing everyone around, demanding every single solo, but of her practically running the entire Glee Club while the faculty adviser let's her get away with it. There are also known rumors and facts about Rachel talking down everyone who signs up or sets foot into the Choir Room, talking over everyone just so no one else would get a say and to make sure that only her ideas would be heard and used in Glee Club. Berry at that start of Glee Club restarting, had refused to help anyone trying out for Glee Club to pick out a song or to even help any of them out with their auditions for Glee Club. Why do you ask? It's because readers that William McKinley High School only has one star and that star's name is Rachel Berry. The so called "Future" Broadway Star.

"Um, okay. It was pretty bad," Cassidy said quickly turning her mini IPad off. She obviously didn't see all that when she speed read through the first time.

"Did . . . Did everybody at school see this? Was that why everyone kept looking at me weird?" Rachel asked in disbelief. She felt like crawling under a rock and never come out until Graduation. Or at that very moment, wishing the ground would open up and swallow her whole.

Rachel knew she wasn't the most well liked person at McKinley but she didn't think it was this bad! Did everyone at this school hated her? Yeah, her two gay Dads spoiled her rotten and practically settle for nothing but the absolute best of best for their little girl.

But this just hurt more than the cyber bullying Rachel had to put up with every time she uploaded a video of her amazing singing talent on her MySpace and Facebook. At least with that Rachel was prepared for all the negative remarks by everyone who doesn't know the difference between a Tony Award and Tony Hawk (and of course all the jocks and cheerios, whom wouldn't know what true talent was if it came up and bit 'em). When you're a future Broadway star, you have to develop a tough layer of skin for all the auditions you would be getting and then landing the part on Broadway.

But this? This was what everyone or at least the majority of the student body of McKinley thought of her. But she hadn't done anything wrong! All Rachel ever did was tell everyone, all the things they needed to work on, what they needed to do, and all the other options for a much better career choice. Hey, let's face it, half the people here would never make it to college, and the other half. Well, several of them wouldn't make it past the screening to get in and if they did managed to with their mediocre talent. Then they wouldn't last two minutes of auditioning for the plays or for Broadway. Better to hear it from a soon to be Broadway Star, than to have your dreams crushed by a much harsher critic. But that was far from being an over dramatic Drama Queen! Yes, Rachel would have no problem in admitting that she's a Diva, but that's not a bad thing!

Especially, when Rachel signed up for and was a part of every club this pathetic, mediocre, talentless, school had to offer. How else was she supposed to have the perfect resume for the performing arts schools in New York to look at and accept her? Rachel had to show all the New York schools what a tremendously talented leader and performer she was! And at the same time show all of her school spirit by participating in all the extracurricular activities this school hat to offer!

"How can everybody at this school hate me?" Rachel asked.

"Well, you were pretty awful," Quinn said. "What?" Quinn saw everyone looking at her and few were starting to glare at her. "I'm not going to sugar coat everything she did, just to keep her from doing one of her infamous Diva blowouts and storms out."

"So, what do I do now?" Rachel desperately asked. "I mean I can't show my face here at McKinley ever again."

"Oh, quit being an over dramatic Drama Queen Rachel," Mercedes said. "You are not going anywhere. Look you and I might not see eye to eye but the one thing you never did was back down from a challenge. So, why start now?"

When Rachel calmed down enough and thought about what Mercedes had said. She had to admit that even she was even being an over dramatic Drama Queen. Mercedes was right. Rachel Berry doesn't back down from a challenge. She never had and she certainly never will, so why start now? Yeah, the Basketball team thought they were being funny by humiliating her with some stupid prank but not this time. It back fired. It just made Rachel realize that she's much tougher and the Glee Club truly did rely on her after all.

"Okay. You're right. Time to step it up and face the music," Rachel said and led the way out to her class.

(Glee Club)

Rachel breathed a sigh of relief as she slumped down in her seat. She was glad to have Glee Club, to really focus all of her talent and leadership skills in to a much more productive aspect. Getting that first place trophy at Sectionals, Regionals and then coming home with that first place trophy and winner's check from Nationals! At least that was what Rachel was hoping for. Mercedes pep talk did help a little but as soon as Rachel walked in to her first class; it started and it just went all the way downhill from there. The looks, the pointing, the snickering, the laughing, the mocking, the jeering, being made fun of and being ridiculed at every turn she went.

It also didn't help that she ran in to Heidi as well. Rachel was still seething at that and also a little hurt as well. She knew that the Diva feud between her and Cassidy was partly her fault. Rachel was by far a competitor by nature and her competitive nature kicked in when Cassidy joined Glee Club. But that didn't give Cassidy the right to gossip and complain about Rachel behind her back to the jocks! Come on, what happened to common curtsy? If you don't like the way things are being done or how someone was running it. Then you complain or tell the person what you don't like or what the problem you have with them. It was as simple as that, Rachel did it all time. It was how the teachers and the presidents or leaders of all the other clubs were able to run their classes and meetings so effectively well now.

Mr. Schue came in to the Choir Room and started droning on and on about what songs they could use and which ones would get them disqualified for Sectionals. Normally Rachel would be taking and jotting down a boat load of notes, complete with illustrations and diagrams, raising her hand to ask questions or to answer all the questions and to make it crystal clear why she, Rachel Berry, should be getting solo. With a perfect song she prepared just to prove her point even further. But that wasn't the case, Rachel just sat there quietly frowning about the day's events. She hated to admit it, especially to herself but Rachel really was hoping for the bell to ring and head home. There she can sulk, pout, cry, and rant as why this so unfair, and start to form a plan to make a grand come back to shove it in everybody's face. The problem was she didn't have a clue as to how to do that.

Her makeover should have been a hit! She should have seen her name in black and white on the list a Best Dressed! Rachel still can't figure out as to how she was put on the list as the Worst Dressed in all of McKinley? Ms. Pillsbury didn't exactly strike her as the type to not get the fashion police's attention. Mercedes literally had fifteen minute argument with Kurt about her outfits and how bad they looked on her. If the dresses that Rachel made were so terrible, than Kurt would have said something!

Then again, maybe he was waiting to see how they looked her before he told her how bad they truly were. That could have been it. No one knew that she was going to do her own fashion show and Kurt just didn't get the chance to let her know how badly they looked on her before the jocks did they're awful prank. But that still begs the question, how does one Rachel Barbara Berry, make a grand come back from this? The answer was staring right at her. Or at least he was sitting behind her to be more exact. Kurt. He knew fashion just like Rachel knew Broadway. That was it. Kurt could give her the best makeover there was and no one could citizen her because she would look fabulous all thanks to Kurt.

(Hallway)

"Kurt! I need to talk to you," Rachel said hurrying up to catch up with him.

Rachel didn't realize how fast he was. Probably hurrying to get to his car just encase he might run in to some bullies. She could relate to that. No one at this school appreciated or knew just how talented she truly was. Or how to treat someone who would be on Broadway, while they all be stuck here, pretending like their High School years were so prefect and kept trying to stay in the past as the Head Cheerleader.

"Meet me at the mall after school tomorrow," Kurt said continuing to his car.

"You don't even know what I was about to ask," Rachel huffed.

Kurt stopped and turned toward Rachel with a raised eyebrow as if to say, "Really? I don't?"

"What? I could be asking you about . . . About . . . History class!" Rachel said trying to play it off.

"Uh, huh. Considering the only classes we share are Lunch and Social Studies. And add the fact, that you have absolutely no problem but offending everyone by making a big scene. And you also have no problem of constantly reminding everyone that you're in your rights because of the whatever Amendment and it's against your 'belief slash religion'," Kurt said skeptically.

"Listen Rachel," Kurt said restarting his journey to his car. "Despite your estrous attempt of an excuse. I know exactly why you're coming to me for help."

"You do?" Rachel asked surprised.

How did Kurt know that she was going to ask him for help? She just literally thought up the plan about an hour ago in Glee Club. Yes, she was doing things out of character but everybody has a bad day. So, how did Kurt know about her willing to ask him for a makeover?

"Really, Rachel? You were just a victim of one the biggest scandals of all of McKinley and you're shocked that I know about you asking me for a true makeover?" Kurt said with his usual snark.

"Well, when you put it that way."

"Look meet me after school tomorrow at the mall," Kurt said unlocking his car and putting his bag in. "Then I will be doing something that I've been wanting to do since Freshmen Year."

"And what's that?" Rachel demanded putting her hands on her hips.

"Giving you a makeover and finally saying goodbye to those horrible animal sweaters of yours." Kurt said giving Rachel a cocky smirk as he hops in to his car and starts the engine. He then gave Rachel one last smile before pulling out and headed home.

Rachel wanting to have the last word and not caring if Kurt heard her or not, shouted. "There's nothing wrong with my sweaters or the way I dress!"

Looking around and seeing that she was the only one in the parking lot. Rachel huffed and stormed off to her own car. Tomorrow was going to be a long and difficult day.

(The Mall)

Rachel met up with Kurt at the mall after school the next day. She wore her brown sweater with gold reindeers, a black frill knee high skirt and white stockings. Rachel knew she was in for the long haul, when she saw Kurt cringing at her outfit. She couldn't get on him about how there was nothing wrong with her sweaters. She (as much as it would pain her to admit it) needed Kurt's help. This scandal had cost Rachel so much ridicule and embarrassment that even the ones who were just a smidge above the Glee Club on the social ladder, took jabs at her. Hell, not even Jacob Ben Israel (Rachel's personal stalker and McKinley's own, self-proclaimed gossiper/news caster) wouldn't even talk to her! Jacob!

"Hey," Kurt greeted.

"Hey," Rachel said flatly.

Man, this had her more down than she thought if she was greeting people like that. Rachel guest, that no matter how hard she tried to not let what the bullies at school say to her or on her Myspace or Facebook account. It still hurt that people, who don't even know you, would criticized you so much. That you just don't ever feel like crawling out of bed, but Rachel was a very proud and prideful person. She won't let them win nor would she let them have the satisfaction of getting the best of Rachel Barbra Berry!

"You alright?" Kurt asked a bit concerned.

Okay, so he couldn't stand being in the same room as Ms. Spotlight Hog, but they were teammates and they should at least try to help each other. At least to a certain extent. Kurt still needed an edge to get the hell out of Lima, but that doesn't mean he couldn't show a little concern for Rachel. Rachel losing her voice? Yes, that would be beneficial to everyone in Glee Club, but being publicly humiliated like that? No. Not even Rachel deserved that.

"Yeah, I'm okay. Alright Kurt, I'm ready for my makeover," Rachel said.

Rachel and Kurt continue to talk for a bit. Kurt telling Rachel which stores they were going to hit, him booking a haircut and makeup section for Rachel with his most trusted Hairstylist, Jolene. And what kind of a new look Kurt was going for, so Rachel would look good and quite possibly catch a few guys attention as well.

During this time Rachel's inner diva decided to come out.

-

(Rachel)

Oh, make me over

I'm all I wanna be

A walking study

In demonology

Kurt and Rachel went to the first store Mezzo on the list and was looking for different outfits for Rachel to try on. Kurt heard about this store just opening up from the Cheerios and thought this was the best place to start Rachel's makeover.
-

(Rachel)

Hey, so glad you could make it

Yeah, now you've really made it

Hey, so glad you could make it now

Rachel was in the fitting room with all kinds of clothes to try on. She wasn't sure if this was a makeover or punishment for a must better singer and lead vocalist for the New Directions. But she decided to try them all on.

(Rachel)

Oh, look at my face

My name is might have been

My name is never was

My name's forgotten

-
They went to the next store after purchasing some the outfits Kurt had picked out for her. And the process continued from there.

(Rachel)

Hey, so glad you could make it

Yeah, now you've really made it

Hey, there's only us left now

Kurt dragged Rachel to Hair Razors Salon. It was the best Salon in Lima and Joleenia was magician in transforming people with the best hairstyles and makeup job, you would have sworn she was from Hollywood!

(Rachel)

When I wake up in my makeup

It's too early for that dress

Wilted and faded somewhere in Hollywood

I'm glad I came here with your pound of flesh

Joleenia had Rachel in a chair after shampooing and conditioning Rachel's hair and went straight to work. She'd even given Rachel some very helpful tips to wear her hair a certain way when she went out on dates as well.

(Rachel)

No second billing 'cause you're a star now

Oh, Cinderella, they aren't sluts like you

Beautiful garbage, beautiful dresses

Can you stand up or will you just fall down?

Joleenia got her makeup kit out and began to work her magic on Rachel. She was even glad when Rachel asked her for some tips on how to do her makeup at home. Rachel was turning out to be one of the best customers Joleenia has ever had next Kurt that was.

(Rachel)

You better watch out

Oh, what you wish for

It better be worth it

So much to die for

-
Rachel looked at herself in the mirror and couldn't believe the transformation right before her eyes. She almost didn't recognized herself. Kurt was right, Joleenia was a magician!

(Rachel)

Hey, so glad you could make it

Yeah, now you've really made it

Hey, there's only us left now

Rachel and Kurt grabbed Rachel's things and headed to their cars. Rachel couldn't wait to show everyone at school the new Rachel Berry. She's going to knock their socks off and she would be getting Finn's attention now. All thanks to her wonderfully natural beauty and talent. All thanks to Kurt for bringing her inner Diva out to showcase everything!

(Rachel)

When I wake up in my makeup

Have you ever felt so used up as this?

It's all so sugarless, hooker/waitress

Model/actress, oh, just go nameless!

Rachel strutted through McKinley High School with her head held high and boosting with confidence. She was indeed turning heads with her new look. She even had gotten Finn's attention! And the best part of all, that made Rachel smile even brighter, was the look of pure loathing from Quinn. Oh, Rachel was going to be on top with Finn on her arm and there was nothing that Quinn could do about it.

(Rachel)

Honeysuckle, she's full of poison

She obliterated everything she kissed

Now she's fading somewhere in Hollywood

I'm glad I came here with your pound of flesh

Rachel walked in to Glee Club with a notebook full of ideas for what they should do for Sectionals. All showcasing Rachel's talent and making the mediocre singers sound even better as her backup. Then they would go to Regionals showcase even more of Rachel's unbelievable talent and win. And then they would be going to bringing a first place trophy, with Rachel having every single solo so they would win of course.

(Rachel)

You want a part of me?

Well, I'm not selling cheap

No, I'm not selling cheap

BONUS SCENE!

Rachel sat her desk with a satisfied smirk. She decided to go back over her homework to make sure she got all of it correct, which she knew she did. Math just came easy for her. Rachel leaned backed in her chair and stretched a bit. She couldn't help but think about all events throughout the entire week. The Women's Basketball Team had tried to break her by playing a low and dirty trick on her, but Rachel (with some help from her Glee Club teammates) had overcame them!

And the best part was, Rachel had even gotten Finn's attention with her new makeover with Quinn right there. Ha! If things between them were so high and dainty, then why would Finn even be looking in Rachel's direction if he wasn't satisfied with Quinn? Why would he go out of his way just to talk and see her if things between him and his supposed "perfect" girlfriend were as good as everyone kept painting them to be this "perfect couple"?

Answer, he wouldn't. Finn wouldn't be looking in her direction or even going her way if things between him and Quinn were so good. Finn probably just got tired of Quinn being a fake, bossy, has to be the center of attention, Head Bitch in Charge, Queen Bee and was looking for someone else, who could easily be the girlfriend that he always wanted. Someone who would treat him right, help him along the way of his talent. Someone who was open minded could easily help him with his homework and help him get into a good college, that didn't have to involve being the top football player if that was what he wanted.

Someone, like her, Rachel Barbra Berry. She would be the perfect girlfriend for Finn. She could easily help him reach the top of stardom as lead male vocal while she was the lead female vocal. They could go to college together in New York! Finn could train more on his singing and dancing, while at the same time figure out what was he wanted to do in his life. While Rachel went to NYADA, or Juilliard, or some other best performing arts school that was out there in New York! And then Finn, would accompany her on the red carpet of her first Tony Award, after her being nominated in a dozen categories thanks to her brilliant performance on Broadway.

Of course none of this would ever happen if Rachel didn't do something and soon to get Finn's attention! To somehow make him realize what bad choice and huge mistake he was making, if he stayed with Quinn. All she was going to do was make him miserable by doing nothing but giving up the baby without consolidating with Finn. She'll go and break his heart when she goes and cheats on him again with someone else. Yes, Rachel knew that Quinn wasn't faithful with Finn, but she didn't have any proof! Nor, did she know who the real father was. Quinn would just keep ordering Finn around, skip classes, boss everyone else around like she was the Queen or something and expect them to wait on her hand and foot. And that would just keep making everyone else who wasn't a Cheerleader or anyone, who dared challenge her as the Head Bitch In Charge of all of McKinley.

Rachel knew that Finn liked her and she liked him in return. But how could she show him how she truly felt? Rachel looked over at the corner of her room. Her video camera was still on his tripod. Hhmm, she could easily record herself doing an amazing song, post on YouTube, MySpace and on her Facebook account. But what song would she sing? Rachel looked around her room and stumble upon an old VHS tape her Dads had given her when she was young. Rachel was just getting introduced to all kinds of musicals and musical shows. This one really captivated her, so much so, that she added it to her Netflix account.

And it gave Rachel an idea. Grabbing a pink dress from her closet and made sure her makeup was done right. Pink eyeshadow, bright pink lip-gloss, and light pink dress shoes. Rachel was ready to record and post her next video.

With the video camera rolling Rachel took a deep breath and smiled. "I'm Rachel Berry and this next song is dedicated to a very special someone. If you're watching. I hope you enjoy this and know that this song says it all."

(Rachel)

There's music in the air

News is in the makin'

Music in the air

Somethin' big is breakin'

Hey babe I got my eye on you

And I'm watchin' your every move

Hey babe I got my eye on you

Tell me what are you tryin' to prove

You think you're hot

And your star is due

Ooh ooh

You think you got somethin' different and new

Well babe I got my eye on you

And babe, oh babe I think so too

Well this is only the beginning

Only the beginning

Only the beginning

Only the beginning

Hey babe I got my eye on you

And I think you look mighty fine

(Hey babe) I got my eye on you

I would really like to make you mine

Wow look around at the sight and sound

Did we take you by surprise?

Bet you can't believe your eyes

Oh whoa oh

Well this is only the beginning

Only the beginning

Only the beginning

Only the beginning

Only the beginning

Only the beginning

Cause ever since you came in view

I just can't take my eyes off you

Now, now's the time when our star's on the climb

Watch us try for the prize

We're already on the rise whoa

Well this is only the beginning

Only the beginning

Hey babe I got my eye on you

Only the beginning

Hey babe I got my eye on you

Only the beginning

(Hey babe) I got my eye on you

Only the beginning

(Hey babe) I got my eye on you

When Rachel was done recording, she quickly loaded the video in her laptop to edit it, to make sure everything was perfect. Once she was satisfied with how it looked and more importantly how she sounded. Rachel quickly posted it. As she closed her laptop, after making sure she posted her video correctly. Rachel couldn't help but go to bed with a smile. She might not have Finn on arm as her boyfriend yet, but at least now he knows how she truly felt about him. And quite possibly would be interested in her as his girlfriend.
