Chapter 20 - For whom the bells ring

"I have a plan" Chris said smiling as he turned around.

"Chris...There's nothing we can do" Scarlett said wiping away a tear.

"What does the marriage contract say about people who are already married" He asked pulling her to her feet.

"The contract becomes null and void of course...Chris what are you"

"Marry me" He broke in

"What? Chris we, we can't"

"And why not? Scarlett, I love you more than anyone I've ever met and I'm not letting you get married to anyone but me" He said firmly

"Chris" She said softly a smile blooming on her face

"No Scar! I don't care if you hate me or if you don't love me I love you and that's enough"

"Chris"

"And we don't even need to have kids! We could just be friends who are married"

"CHRIS" She laughed out "Yes"

"And...What"

"Yes...I'll marry you because...I love you too"

Piper was...Shocked to say the least. When Chris had orbed and announced that he had proposed to Scarlett and that she had said yes she was speechless.

Then anger overcame her, he hadn't told her anything! Then joy gripped her. She was glad that Scarlett and Chris were together again and even more happy at a wedding.

But when Chris had announced they needed to get married by tomorrow morning she succumbed to shock and sat staring blankly. Until Phoebe snapped her out of it with a squeal (Waking her two kids)and declaring the wedding would be a family affair and would happen in a few hours.

"The venue is the club then" Piper announced and everyone agreed.

"Wait! Chris you and Leo need to get Wyatt and then you need to leave the Manor!" Phoebe said.

"But Aunt Phoebe!" Chris cried,

"Chris...This is your aunt phoebe and weddings...I wouldn't even try to argue" Seeing his dad nod he sighed kissed Scar goodbye and orbed out with his dad.

Then she was dragged away by said aunt who was smiling and Piper who was laughing at all of this. Paige was also being dragged and eventually got tired of this and yanked her hand back.

They entered Piper's bedroom and sat Scarlett down on Pipers vanity's chair. "So, While we get ready for your wedding why don't we talk about somethings" Phoebe said while rifling through Pipers closet.

"About..." When the sisters turned and looked at her with identical 'are you serious' faces she smiled and launched into her tale,

"So...let me get this straight...This Bulgarian dude wanted you to be a housewife? What about dumbles plan for the source and that voldy dude"

"I presume that he thought that when I was married that the delegates would stick around to help with the effort...Idiot that he is"

"So...Why didn't you just burn his ass all the way back to Bulgaria"

"I thought about it but...I was just tired...of everything...I just gave up hope that I could be happy then after yesterday Chris came when I called and then he proposed"

"Just like that?"

"Just like that" Scarlett answered smiling.

"So...We have Pipers wedding dress as something old and borrowed"

"I have these green earrings that I just bought" Piper put in

"Great! Now we just need something blue"

"I gt that part covered" Scarlett said changing her hair into the raven-claw themed style she liked.

"Oooh!" Phoebe squealed clapping her hands together" I love weddings!" The three other woman smiled at her in amusement.

"Right ladies...Lets get this show on the road" Grabbing Paige's hand Scarlett orbed to P3.

The club was beautiful. There was white table clothes covering most of the tables and there was a rose-covered arch near the stage were live music usually played.

Under it stood Chris, Leo and Terrence. Terrence was dressed as a minister and for his face it seemed to fit. She wondered if he had been one when he was alive.

"Friends and family we gather under this...Improvised hall" he said as Scarlett joined with Chris under the archway.

"Now for the vows...I believe you both wanted to say something" He asked as he looked at his charge with a smile.

"WAIT ONE MOMENT" A voice barked from across the room. There over in the corner of the room stood Sirius Black, Hermione Granger, Cedric Diggory, Cho Chang, Penny Halliwell and Prue Halliwell.

"What's a wedding without Guests?" Penny Halliwell asked as she looked at her grandson and his wife. Smiling everyone took a seat. But Sirius who stood by his daughter.

"Now who gives away this woman"

"I do" Sirius said smiling at his daughter who beamed back and hugged him tightly.

"Good. Now I know you wanted to give your own vows. Chris"

"Scarlett...I first met you with crazy hair and in your underwear" She blushed as other laughed "and I thought you were an angel with wacky you said yes to a date and then a year passed and I fell for you even more and I know that love exists and I promise that if you say I do that I will spend the time we have together to show you how much I love you"

Brushing a tear away she said "Chris...When I was growing up i didn't ever expect to find someone who could love me. Ever. I was always second best and I figured it would always stay that way. I just figured that was my place in the shadows. But now, with you, I'm bathed in light. I'm under your spell and I don't ever want it to end. I love you now and for eternity"

"Christopher Perry Halliwell. Do you take Miss Black-Potter to be your lawfully wedded wife. To have and to hold to cherish and to love until death do you part" Terrence said smiling wider.

"I do"

"And Scarlett Rose Black-Potter, do you take Mr Halliwell to be your lawfully wedded husband to have and to hold to cherish and to love until death do you part"

"Even in death, I do" She said. As they kissed a white light emitted from them and Scarlett smiled.

The contract was broken rendering her free. Of course they would need to register it officially but for now she wanted to dance with Chris.

Her husband. Her love. Her life.
