Hello my lovely readers! Like I mentioned last chapter, I have been prewriting, so I'm not sure when this chapter will be posted. More than likely, you won't be reading this until I've left for my family vacation. Anyways, enjoy!

Even the landscape was different, although this time, he thought it was for the better. This particular area was filled with flowers of all kinds. Everything from giant lilac bushes to delicate honeysuckle vines lined the cobblestone path.

He took a risk and glanced behind him. He didn't see her following him, but he did catch a glimpse of the secluded cottage he had just fled from. Green ivy crawled up the pale brown walls, making it look as if it had just been claimed from the forest.

In the distance, a huge forest loomed. He was almost there. His legs were feeling slightly shaky, partially from fatigue, partially from fear.

Speaking of fear, in a moment of distraction, he tackled Timid accidentally.

"I-I-I'm sorry." She whispered. He glanced down and saw the grey-cloaked emoticlone, trembling on the ground.

Gently, he grabbed her shoulders and set her on her feet. "No, I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going.

She shook her head. "No, it's my fault. I wandered out to see what all the racket was, and I got in your way."

He sighed. Thee was no point in arguing with here; she'd only try and take more blame. "Anyways, Timid, would you happen to know what's going on? I accidentally got sucked into Raven's mirror when I went looking for her, and the first emotion I met was one who called herself Obsession. Was she always here, or is she... new?" He asked calmly, as not to frighten her.

It seemed that his endeavor was completely pointless. Timid's eyes widened enough to resemble dinner plates, and she started shivering violently."Y-you've al-al-already met her?" She gasped. "This is bad, r-really bad."

"Are you o-" He started to ask, but was cut off.

"Y-you can't stay here." Timid frantically glanced about. "She'll find you, and t-t-that would be bad. Raven would n-never forgive us."

He felt her delicate grip on his wrist and tug him forward. "You n-need to find Brave. I-I-I won't be a-able to do much, b-ut, she can. Her forest isn't t-too far from mine."

He followed her as she towed him through her forest. He couldn't help that, despite her own fear, she was trying to be strong.

He observed the woods. As far as he could tell, there weren't any animal inhabitants, but the strange, flickering shadows and thick vegetation cast an eerie mood. Maybe his is why she's so afraid all of the time. He mused to himself.

"You know, Raven is really sorry about his morning." Timid spoke quietly, breaking the silence.

"What for?" He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. "I'm the one who mad her mad."

"It's not your fault. She's been really confused and unstable lately. She feels bad about destroying the tower, and making you feel bad." Timid was still quiet, but she was surprisingly steady.

"Why do I get the feeling that was classified information?" He cracked a smile.

"Not really. She'd tell you herself, but she's afraid of seeming vulnerable." Timid's whisper was barely audible, but he still, managed to catch every word. She cleared her throat and spoke a little louder. "Brave should be here somewhere. I'm g-going back now. Brave's forest is filled with scary things."

"Leaving so soon, Mouse?" Brave chuckled as she dropped out of a tree, earning a shriek of terror from Timid.

"Y-yeah, I'm heading back." She yelped before scuttling back into the trees.

Brave turned her attention to him, flashing him a wide grin. "Poor Mouse can't ever handle a conversation with me. Now tell me, BB, what brings you to take a lovely tour of the improved Nevermore?"

He held his hands up in surrender. "It was an accident! I may be an idiot, but I'm not suicidal. I try to avoid putting Raven into a murderous rage. Invading her mind definitely falls into that category. She's gonna kill me when she finds out."

"I doubt it, but if you're not here for a tour, why'd Timid hand you over to me?"

He sighed, and resigned to telling her. "When I first got here, I was in a strange room, with an emotion with a reddish-purple cloak. She called herself Obsession." He confessed. "I fled, because she totally creeped me out, and almost bulldozed Timid in the process."

Brave frowned. "She's got her own place and name already? She only showed up a day or so ago, but Raven has yet to even acknowledge her yet!"

"Raven doesn't know about her?" The news shocked him. How could an empath not know about one of their emotions?

"No, and it's strange. I thought she knew better by now. She needs to listen to me and tackle problems like her head on, before they have a chance to get worse."

"Timid also said that Raven would kill you guys if Obsession got a hold of me." He piped up, curious about what she had meant.

"Oh no, BB. That's for us to know, and you to wonder about until the actual Raven tells you. I better take you to Knowledge's library. It's the most secure building in our mind, and hopefully, Knowledge can answer your questions better than I can. Believe it or not, I'm just about as confused as you are. I can't remember he last time a new emoticlone formed. "

He growled a little. No one was going to give him a straight answer, were they?

"So, what'd you mean by 'the improved Nevermore?" He asked.

"Come on, BB! Don't tell me that nothing here looks different to you?" Brave's voice was teasing, and dripping in sarcasm.

"I just thought that I was in a different part of her mind." He mumbled.

"Well, I guess you are, but after totally kicking butt at the apocalypse, we got to redecorate. The stone maze is gone, and so are all of those floaty-rock paths." She chipped. "Hey BB! Watch this!"

Brave jumped up, catching a vine and swinging forward. A creature made of sand had risen in their path, and Brave was all too willing to knock it back down. She delivered a powerful kick to it's head, cleanly decapitating it, before letting go and doing a handspring as she landed.

"How did you know that was going to be there? " He asked in amazement.

"I know this place like the back of my hand, duh!" She playfully slapped him on the back. He winced. There would definitely be a hand-shaped bruise there in the morning.

The trees gradually thinned, and a colossal building was revealed.

"Here we are! I'll help you find the old bookworm before I take off, but next time you come to visit, I'll take you on the 'scenic route' of my place. It's much more exciting, and makes Sandy back there look like an ant." She smiled proudly.

"Ah, hehe, I'll have to take you up on that later." He chuckled weakly.

"Come on! The entrance is this way!"

She couldn't help but stare dumbfounded at the monitors. Every single one of them was still working, yet the green changeling was no where on the screen. She had even braved the stench to check and see if he was in his room. Her bravery had been in vain.

"Come on, Beastboy, where did you go?" She muttered.

I can't believe he's missing. Should I call Robin? She wondered. No, not now, anyways. I wonder if he retreated to the city because he was afraid. Ugh, I need to find out where that dirty little shapeshifter went!

With a heavy sigh, she left to scoured Jump City.

Yay! This chapter was a bit longer, but I'm still at a mini block. I think, however, that next chapter will be much longer. To give you guys a fair warning, I'm pretty sure this story is only going to be like ten chapters long, (although the next two-three chapters should be considerably longer.) So, to recap, unless the inspiration gods strike me with a muse, there will probably only be four more chapters after this. Once again, be sure to let me know what you think in the reviews! :)
