Jeremy, Aelita and William had reached the end of the sewers, the ladder next to them leading to the bridge.
"So, how are we gonna get Aelita up the ladder?" William said, his eyes moving across the length of the metal shaft.
Jeremy looked at the ladder, Aelita, and then back at the ladder. "Hmm... I guess one of us could get to the top and help pull her up from there."
"Sounds like it'll work. I'll go up, then you help Aelita get about half-way and I should be able to pull her up from there." William said, beginning his ascent up the ladder.
Once he reached the top, he opened the slider and got onto the bridge.
"Send her up!" He yelled from above, his voice echoing through the acoustically inclined sewer.
Jeremy helped Aelita get on the ladder, holding her up as she climbed the first couple of bars. As William was about to help her up, he looked ahead of him, his eyes widening.
"...Guys... We've got company..." William said, his eyes locked on the mob of random people coming quickly in his direction.
William looked down at Aelita and Jeremy, then back at the horde of X.A.N.A. fied people ahead of him. "Just find somewhere to hide down there, I'll distract them long enough for you to get out."
With that, William slid the panel closed and stood up. "Hey X.A.N.A., over here!" He yelled, jumping up in the air and waving his hands.
The group began to run faster towards him, promoting William to rush towards the factory.
Jeremy helped Aelita down the ladder, again helping hold her as they looked down the sewer system.
"Think we'll be safe here?" Aelita asked, looking at Jeremy, their faces in close proximity.
Jeremy opened his mouth to reply, but before he could, the panel above them began to slide open, an unfamiliar face with familiar eyes peering down at them.
"No..." He said, both of them moving as quickly as they could down the tunnel.

Ulrich and Yumi had been running towards the tower for a few minutes, expecting a surprise attack or massive assault, but so far it had been quiet.
"I thought you said there were monsters on your screen?" Ulrich asked, looking up at the cloudy sky of the Mountain Sector.
"Strange. The monitor says there are at least five monsters near you." Franz said looking over his screens. "It may just be a bug, but I would still keep an eye out. The tower isn't far from your current location."
"Got it, we'll keep an eye out." Yumi said, beginning to step forward, but was harshly pushed down by two lasers hitting her in the back.
"Yumi, what happened?" Ulrich asked, running over to her.
Yumi stood up, looking all around her, but seeing nothing but rock and sky. "Something shot me..."
Yumi stared out blankly for a moment before a thought hit her. "I think we may have a big problem. X.A.N.A.'s monsters must be invisible!"
Just as she finished speaking, more lasers came blazing towards the duo, driving them to dodge the shots with a masterful fluency. They had become so skilled at dodging lasers over the many times they had been to Lyoko, it's a rare occasion for them not to avoid a shot.
The two rushed to the cover of a nearby rock, taking shelter from the endless waves of lasers hurtling towards them.
"Any ideas?" Yumi asked, taking out both of her fans.
Ulrich looked over at her, arming himself with his dual blades. "I think I have something that just might work."

"Okay, Odd, don't panic. There's just a ton of super powered people out there about to break in and rip you to shreds. No sweat." Odd had been sitting in the center of the cafeteria for the last few minutes, trapped from all sides.
As a defense, he put a large cooking pot on his head and armed himself with what he considered the 'most epically awesome cooking tool in the world', a spatula.
Odd stood up and yawned, looking down at his phone.
"Well, this is actually kinda boring, and the beating is a little relaxing. I might as well just take a nap."
Odd gathered a cloth from the kitchen and a small square of bubble wrap, setting them up on a table as though they were a pillow and blanket.
"Well, it's nap time!" Odd said, about to lie down on the table, when suddenly, a large crashing noise came from the kitchen, an animalistic roar following it not far behind.
Odd turned towards the kitchen and raised his spatula. "Well, I guess it's not nap time."
Haha, oh Odd, always looking for a nap, or food, or both at the same time. Seriously, we have reached over 9000 views... So I guess I have to do this... IT'S OVER 9000!
Now that that's over, I would like to thank everyone for helping support me in my writing, and I hope you continue to enjoy. (Btw, next episode is gonna be epic, so stay tuned for another action packed adventure with Odd and his trusty spatula XD)
