DEAR READERS,
I'm sorry for the long hiatus on my stories, I had gotten caught in life that it'd kept me from the computer. But now the long wait is over, life has calmed for the moment and I can come back to my writing. The story updates will continue like they used to. I'd also like to tell you all that tomorrow I will be posting the next chapter to Forgotten, since a lot of you have taken a real liking to it. So till life pulls me away again - hopefully not any time soon - the story updates will be daily. So thank you all for staying with me these few months of silence and now let's get on with the show.

2D looked down the old stairs, seeing the fenced gate. "Is this the station?" asked 2D. "Ya it is, it was always off-limits to everyone, now I kinda see why." said Murdoc.
The two walked down the stairs and 2D saw that the gate was forced open. "Looks like someone wanted out real bad." said 2D. "No, the fence is being forced in, someone wanted in, no doubt the scientist." said Murdoc angrily. "Didn't he realize that by damaging the fence, the ants will get out?" asked 2D. "Not all scientists are smart, they claim to be, but really, they're just a bunch of dumb fuckers." said Murdoc.
The teen nodded and the two went into the station. It was dark inside and Murdoc put an arm on 2D. "Be careful." said Murdoc. "Alright; wait a sec, our pip-boys, they're made with built in lights." said 2D. "The light will give us away quicker, but it beats walking blind." said Murdoc.
The bluenette turned his light on and helped Murdoc find his. "Stupid piece of shit." grumbled Murdoc. The bluenette just laughs as they walk on.
It was pretty quiet, no ants in sight yet.
Just then, there was a faint noise. "Murdoc, I hear one." whispered 2D. The Satanist nodded and drew his gun.
As they walked on, they heard the noise get louder. Thanks to the light, Murdoc spotted the ant three feet away from them. He pulled the trigger, shooting the ant. It crumpled to the ground, body and legs twitching a bit. A second ant appeared and 2D shot it's head open.
Green goop slid out of the wound, making Murdoc crinkle his nose. "That made me lose my appetite." said Murdoc. 2D laughs a bit as he looks around. "I think it's clear, I don't hear anymore ants." said 2D. "Good, then let's go, we have a fucker to kill." spat Murdoc harshly.
2D flinches at the tone as Murdoc moves ahead. Murdoc was completely set on revenge, reasonable since this guy caused Sasha's death. 'I just hope Murdoc doesn't get hurt while trying to get revenge.' thought 2D worriedly.
2D got up and ran to catch up with his lover. 'But, shouldn't I be more concerned with the prophecy?' thought 2D. He was the foreseen one to save the Wastes, shouldn't he be focused on the prophecy? As he moved, he thought of Sasha's last words to him.
"This may be your destiny, but there are still other paths for you to choose."
'What did Sasha mean by that, 'other paths', what does it mean?' thought 2D. He shook the thought off and found Murdoc looking over a railing.
The bluenette looked too and saw tunnels with tracks and derailed trains. "Hey Mudsy, do you think it was fun riding in one of these trains?" asked 2D. "I don't know, some old pre-war book I read on them complains a lot about them being crowded." said Murdoc. "Trains are crowed, huh, must not have been many cars then." said 2D. "That or they were too expensive." said Murdoc.
The two then walked away to walk down some mechanical stairs. "Hey, did these moves?" asked 2D. "As far as I know, yes, these stairs moved." said Murdoc. "Damn, people in the past were very lazy, what, did they have moving sidewalks too?" asked 2D. "Wouldn't surprise me if they did." laughed Murdoc.
2D smiled as the Satanist starts walking down the stairs. "Still, I wish I was born in the past, I really want to see a real tree." said 2D.
Murdoc held out his hand, taking 2D's and pulling him closer. The teen just smiles at his lover happily. 'Maybe somewhere out in the wastes, there is a real one.' thought Murdoc.
The two then start walking around the train platform, trying to find a way around. The tunnels were ether blocked off by a derailed train or a cave in. It wasn't looking good, and Murdoc was getting pissed. 'Dammit, where could this bastard be!' thought Murdoc.
"Hey Muds, I found a way in!" called 2D. The older man looked over to see 2D at a derailed train blocking a tunnel. He ran over to see the teen was pointing at a small opening between the wall and train.
"It's big enough for an ant and a person." said 2D. "Good, let's get going now." said Murdoc. The two walked down the tunnel, passing debris and bits of train.
"Ugh, how the fuck are we going to find this bastard?" asked Murdoc. "Well, I don't know, maybe some lucky guesses?" asked 2D. The Satanist just rolls his eyes and pats the bluenette on the head. "Ya, that'll take forever." said Murdoc. "You got any ideas?" asked 2D.
Murdoc glared and 2D decided quickly that it'd be best not to push him.
So, the two continued on down the tunnel, looking for any sign of the scientist. Just as they cross the tracks by a wooden plank, Murdoc's pip-boy starts beeping. He growls and starts beating it against the wall. "Why the fuck is this thing against me?!" snapped Murdoc.
The beeping only got louder and the Satanist bashed it into the wall more. 2D laughed a bit when his pip-boy beeped. He looked to see a green dot on his map of the station. "Hey uh Muds, my pip-boy is saying something is on the other side of the wall." said 2D.
Murdoc stops and looks to see his said the same thing. "Huh, guess it wasn't against me this time." said Murdoc. He blinks and looks behind to see a metal door. "Okay, looks like we found where we need to be." said Murdoc.
2D just shook his head and kissed his lover. "See, things worked out." said 2D. Murdoc only smiled, quickly returning the kiss. "Alright, let's go beat up this fucker." said Murdoc.
The Satanist went to the door and gave a hard kick to it. The door was kicked in and fell inside a few inches. 'He could have just opened the door, it wasn't locked.' thought 2D.
They went inside to see a man in his late thirties with short blonde hair, glasses, and he wore a lab coat with a tie. "Hey, whoa, what is this?" demanded the man. "Shut the fuck up you son of a bitch!" roared Murdoc. The man flinched as 2D came in. "Who are you?" asked 2D.
"I'm Dr. Lesko, I'm a scientist who's on the brink of reducing a giant ant's size." said the man. "So you ARE the fucker responsible for the ants!" yelled Murdoc. "It was just a simple miscalculation, one that needs work." said Lesko.
"Small, those ants destroyed Grayditch, killed Murdoc's mom and left a boy without his father!" yelled 2D. "Don't you feel quilty?"
Lesko sighed and fixed his glasses a bit. "No, this was merely an experiment, the fire-breathing was a consequence of the experiment, those people unfortunately got in the mix." said Lesko. This answer only pissed the Satanist off more.
This guy caused the death and destruction of Grayditch and he didn't even feel SORRY?! Murdoc went to grab his gun when his eyes opened wide.
2D had punched Lesko in the face!
"You heartless bastard, you don't even fucking care about the lives you've ruined?!" yelled 2D. The man stayed silent and 2D reached for his gun.
Seeing this, Murdoc forgot his own anger and grabbed the teen, pulling him back. "Stuart, stop." said Murdoc. "B-but he caused Sasha's death." said 2D. "Stu, please." said Murdoc. "Why?!" demanded 2D.
"Because, unlike him, you're not a killer." said Murdoc. 2D stared at him and nodded, letting himself calm down.
Murdoc was relieved and a bit disturbed. Sure he was about to pull his gun out on the guy, but 2D had almost done the same thing. He couldn't allow 2D to do it, his blue haired lover was no killer. Murdoc now hated Lesko even more for almost making his lover a killer, but it'd have to wait. For now, Murdoc had to keep a clear head, for 2D's sake.
Keeping a hold on the bluenette, Murdoc looked to the man and glared. "You're going to fucking fix this, right NOW!" yelled Murdoc. The man got up and faced him. "How exactly, I'm no fighter, and anyway, my work is in the ant nest, which I can't get to now." said Lesko. "You're a fucking scientist, FIGURE IT OUT!" spat Murdoc.
Lesko was silent as he paced a bit. He looked to 2D and Murdoc and nodded. "My computer." said Lesko. "You mean in the shack?" asked 2D. "No, the one I mentioned in the ant nest, if I can get to it, I can send out a signal that'll cause the ants to frenzy and kill each other." said Lesko.
"Then go to it." said Murdoc. "I can't, the nest is now guarded by fire-breathing guards, so I can't get in, but if you two kill the nest guards, I can get in." said Lesko. Murdoc growled at him but gave in. "Fine." said Murdoc.
2D looked uncertain and Lesko pointed to a door. "The nest is down the passage, oh and one more thing, please don't kill the queen." said Lesko. "What, why?!" demanded Murdoc. "I need her eggs to continue my experiments to reduce their sizes, now don't kill the queen!" yelled Lesko.
The two went out the door and down the passage. "What a lunatic." said 2D. "Ya, dammit, if he didn't know how to fix this mess, I'd killed him." snapped Murdoc. "Are you still going to?" asked 2D.
"Hell ya I am, he feels no remorse for what he did to my mother, plus he fucking got your arm burned!" spat Murdoc. "My arm will heal." said 2D. "It wouldn't need healing if that dumb fucker didn't mess with those eggs." growled Murdoc.
2D was silent and Murdoc sighed a bit. "Sorry luv, I'm just pissed with that fucker." said Murdoc. The teen only smiles a bit and kisses the Satanist's cheek.
"Things'll be better once those ants are dead, as well as that bastard." said 2D. The older man agreed and they paused at a hole.
At the bottom of it was a door, no doubt leading to the nest, considering the rest of the passage was blocked by debris.
"Well, time to fry up some ants." said Murdoc. "So long as we don't get fried." joked 2D. Murdoc only rolled his eyes as they went through the door.
'He's damn lucky I love him, that joke fucking SUCKED.' thought Murdoc.
A/N: And off into the nest they go. Lesko is such a bastard, those are my first thoughts when I met him. What an ass! Before you think it, no, I never killed him in the game, bastard ain't worth the bullet. Anyway, what will Murdoc and 2D do in the ant nest, and with Lesko afterwards? Stay tuned and plz review.
