Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella had been dating for a little over two years now, while Nikki Bella and John Cena had been together for less than that time. Albeit the difference in the time, both couples were very serious in the relationships they were in. Their careers were in a great spot right now, they had nothing to worry about, life was good for all of them. They wouldn't want to change a single thing.
However, as time passed, Daniel Bryan had wanted to get more serious with his girlfriend and propose to her. He wanted to put a ring on her finger and start their lives together. He was hoping to get a house of their own, get married, and have children all along side their dog Josie. Daniel didn't really dip into John and Nikki's relationship, so he had no idea where they were in the point of their ship. But he didn't care about any of that, all he wanted was to have what was best for him and Brie. He was tired of living from hotel to hotel, he wanted a place to settle down; particularly in Washington, which was his home town. Now it was time to put his plan into action.
"Hey Brie?" Daniel asked as Brie came out of the hotel room bathroom drying her hair with a towel. The two had just gotten back from a photo shoot and autograph signing, and they were exhausted and ready to head to bed.
"Yeah babe?" Brie replied as she wrapped her hair up in the towel and plopped down on the big bed beside Daniel.
"Have you ever thought about us moving? Like, getting our own place?" The bearded man asked. He was hoping that she would be open minded about all of this because he really wanted it. "In Washington?" He also added.
Brie shrugged, "I don't know. Not really."
"You've never thought about settling down, having kids? That kind of thing?" He asked her with a small smile. Normally most girls think about that kind of stuff, but Brie wasn't normal. She was something else, that was for sure. "You know I'd like to marry you and stuff."
"Well, I have... But there's always work, training, Josie, Nikki-" She started to say but was cut off by her long time boyfriend.
"Did you just say Nikki?" Daniel asked.
"Yeah."
"You can't spend all your life shoved up your sister's ass, you know?" Daniel laughed.
"I am not shoved up her ass!" Brie argued as she smacked Daniel playfully. She and Nikki were close though, there was no doubting that. They were twin sisters, and had an unbreakable bond. "It's just, we've never been apart." She added as she laid her head on Daniel's shoulder.
"It's not like you would be apart. You'd see her all the time, after all, she is your twin, you work for the same company. Everything would be okay. If it wouldn't, I would not be asking you to get a house with me." Daniel said as he kissed his girlfriend on the forehead. She could be so doubting sometimes, but he was always there to reassure her and ease her mind. They complimented each other so well like that.
"I guess you're right." She replied as she looked up at him with her pretty eyes.
"Aren't I always?" He teased.
"Oh shut up." Brie retorted.
"Aren't you even happy?" The superstar asked.
"About what?"
"Living with me!" Daniel joked.
"Of course I am." Brie laughed. "It'll just take some getting used to. I wonder how Josie will like the new house instead of staying at the dog sitter's all the time." The subject was dropped for a little bit as the couple changed and readied for bed, then crawled under the covers together. It was already late, and they had another busy day ahead of them tomorrow. Daniel wrapped his arm around Brie as they cuddled together. Everything was peaceful until the bearded man spoke again.
"You're telling Nikki." He said.
Brie groaned, "Ugh! Why can't you tell her? You know how she is!" The twin said. She was right. Her sister could be a little over dramatic at times, and there were times that Nikki was jealous of Brie's relationship. Brie and Daniel were going to get married, and that irked her because Nikki knew that John had just been recently divorced. The twins fought sometimes, but it was nothing dramatic.
"She's your twin!" Daniel laughed.
"Fine, I'll do it. But you so owe me a foot massage." She nudged him playfully in the ribs and he chuckled.
"Deal." He said simply as he placed little butterfly kisses on her neck.
"I love you." Brie said with a smile.
"I love you too." Daniel replied. Brie then grabbed her phone and started typing away on the keyboard. "What are you doing?" Daniel asked a little confused.
"Texting Nikki to meet up tomorrow morning." The diva explained as she sat her phone back onto the nightstand beside the bed.
"Ah, okay."
"Goodnight." She said as she nuzzled into Daniel's embrace, and soon she drifted off to sleep in his arms. Tomorrow would definitely be hectic, but a part of her was also very excited to start her life with the man she loved. First step, get a house, second step would be the marriage proposal.
