Chapter 10

Hello everyone, how are y'all doing? I hope that good. So here's chapter 10 :) im sorry that it has taken me a while to post this chapter, but I didn't have it written yet lol besides I've been caught up with My Last Letter that I put this one aside for a little bit because of everything that is going to happen during this chapter. Well I'll just leave y'all to the chapter.

I do not own any of the twilight characters but I do own the ones that I have created.

ESME'S POV

I smiled as Alice finished helping me put on my dress. I couldn't believe it.

Today was my wedding.

I couldn't believe that this day had finally come.

"Someone looks very happy." Alice said with a smile.

I bit my lip and smiled again. "I am. I'm getting married to Carlisle today." I said.

"Well y'all have been living like a couple for two months already." Rosalie said.

"But its always exciting and romantic when two persons that love each other share their vowels." Karla said.

I smiled.

There was a knock on the door.

Gisselle went to open it.

"Hi girls." My mother said.

"Hey mom." I said turning around.

"Awe, look at you! You look like a princess." My mother said.

I smiled. I really did love the dress.

It had a long tail but what I liked was that it was full of crystals.

It must have cost Alice a fortune, well Carlisle actually paid for it, but Alice had it done.

"Its really gorgeous isn't it?" Karla asked coming into the room.

My mother smiled and nodded. "It really is." My mother said.

Karla smiled. "Alice has a friend in London that owed her a favor." Karla said before she took Victoria from my mother.

"You have a friend in London that makes dresses?" My mother asked.

"Yes, I met him when I went on vacation to London and I visited his boutique and we became good friends since then." Alice said.

"Oh! That's great." My mother said.

Alice smiled and nodded. "Yeah, he likes using material from Spain and England together so this came out. I told him I wanted something unique and to be a one time thing because I wanted Esme's wedding day to be special so he agreed but he wants pictures." Alice said.

I smiled. "Well that's not a problem." I said.

"So are you ready?" Karla asked.

I smiled and bit my lip. Then I nodded. "Yeah I am." I said feeling excited and like I had butterflies on my stomach.

Karla smiled. "Great! Then I'll go get your father." She said before she gave Victoria back to my mother and then left.

"Okay how about we start this wedding album?" Alice asked bring out her camera. "Alright get together." Alice said.

I took pictures with my mother, Alice, Gisselle, and with Victoria. Then I took some alone.

When Karla came back with my father, I took some with them as well.

"Okay so everyone is ready downstairs and we are ready when you are." Karla said.

I swallowed and nodded.

"Take a deep breath and relax. Its normal to get nervous before the big moment so just breathe. Everything is going to be fine." Alice said coming to stand in front of me.

I took deep breaths and nodded. "I'm just a little nervous to how everything is going to look since y'all didnt let me see any decorations." I said.

Alice smiled. "Well you did tell us to take care of it so it had to be sort of a surprise. We just hope that you like it." Alice said.

I rolled my eyes and smiled. Then I sighed. "This is it." I said.

Everyone smiled.

I saw that my mother was crying. "Mom, why are you crying?" I asked.

"I'm sorry. Its just that I didn't think that this moment was ever going to come." She said.

I laughed. "Alright im ready." I said.

"Okay! Places everyone!" Alice ordered.

My mother chuckled. "I'll see you downstairs." She said.

I smiled and nodded.

My father sighed.

"What's wrong dad?" I asked.

He cleared his throat.

"We'll give you guys a moment alone." Karla said.

I nodded.

Everyone got out of the room.

"Are you sure that you want to do this?" My father asked for the first time.

I smiled and nodded. "Yes dad. I love Carlisle very much." I told him.

He sighed. "I'm asking because I dont want you to make a mistake and then it might be too late." My father said.

I smiled. "Dad, why are you asking me now? Why didnt you ask me when we told you that we were engaged?" I asked.

"Believe it or not I just went along with your mother, and I saw you so happy. I was actually scared that what happened to you when you were little had scared you for life. A wound like that its very hard to heal." He said.

I swallowed and nodded. "Since we're being honest, im going to tell you the truth also. I was scared of dating someone. That's why I never brought a boyfriend home. I was scared of dating and getting hurt or of getting taken away from my family." I said with tears in my eyes.

Then I smiled. "Then I met Carlisle and everything changed. I didn't feel scared anymore. I felt protected. I felt safe. I know that im young but I know that Carlisle is the one for me." I told him.

My father smiled and then he gave me a hug. "My little girl isn't so little anymore. You're all grown up and about to be a married woman. But why rush it though? Both of you are young. Is it because of a pregnancy?" He asked.

I chuckled. "No dad. I just think that since I have found my other half, then why wait. Mom was mu age when you married her." I said.

"That's different young lady. Everything back then was different. Our marriage was an arrangement." Father said.

"You weren't in love with mom when you got married?" I asked.

He smiled. "Your mother and I grew up together. We were raises together since our parents were in the same circle. We went to school together and we were always there for each other. Then when we grew up, well when I turned eighteen, our parents already had our wedding arranged. They had it planned since we were little. But to answer your question, no I wasn't completely in love. I always saw her as a friend. As my best friend to be honest, but after we got engaged everything started to change. I started seeing her in a different way." My father said looking at the wall. He looked like he was somewhere else.

"I started noticing how beautiful she looked when she would smile. I noticed that she would laugh at all my jokes, even though they weren't that funny but I loved to make her laugh." He said with a smile.

I smiled. "To me in sounds like you were really in love and so was mom." I said.

Father smiled. "Well I didn't notice that we were until we were in our honeymoon. But if you think that you're ready and im fine with that. I just wanted you to be sure of what you want." He said.

I smiled and nodded. "I know that I am going to be judged a lot for getting married young, but I don't care. I love Carlisle and he loves me and I think that's all that matters because while other people are judging me, I am going to be happy." I said.

My father smiled and nodded. "Then we should get going before Carlisle thinks that you have left." Father said.

I laughed.

Alice came in then with my flowers. "Okay is everyone ready?" Alice asked.

Everyone nodded.

I smiled and sighed. I looked at my flowers and still couldn't believe it.

My wedding day was here.

"Okay Gisselle will go first followed by Karla, Renesmee, me, and then Rosalie. Esme will follow ten seconds later." Alice said as she gave everyone their flowers.

"Okay. Lets get this party started." Gisselle said before she walked out the door.

Four seconds later Karla followed.

One by one each of then started to leave.

"Count to ten, then follow me." Rosalie said with a smile.

I smiled and nodded. I counted to ten and then I put my hand through my father's arm.

"Ready?" Father asked.

I smiled and nodded. "Just don't let me fall." I said.

"Never." He said.

"No im serious. Alice has me on four inch heels, and its my first time wearing heels this high." I said.

My father laughed. "Dont worry. I will never let you fall." He said.

I smiled. "Thank Dad." I said before we walked out of my room.

We turned left and walked down the hallway. Then we turned right and started walking down the stairs.

I looked at all the decorations.

Alice had really done a great job.

There were white flowers everywhere. There were decorations on white and lilac. There were also white vases with white roses and lilac flowers.

I smiled as we stepped down the last step.

"Are you okay?" Father asked.

I smiled. "Yeah, im just surprised of all the decorations. Everyone did an amazing job." I said.

"You hadn't seen the decorations?" He asked.

I shook my head. "No. Alice and Karla did all the decorations. Gisselle and Rosalie did everything else foe the guests." I said.

Father nodded.

We turned left and walked down the hallway to the back doors.

James started playing the piano and all the guests stood up and turned to look at us.

We started walking down the long aisle. As we passes by the guests, I smiled at them.

I didnt think Alice had invited so many people.

Then finally we made it to the altar.

My father put my hand in Carlisle's and then he kissed my cheek. Then he went to sit down next to my mother.

"You look beautiful." Carlisle said with a smile.

I smiled. "You look very handsome." I told him.

He smiled.

"We are gathered here today..." The priest started but I didn't hear him anymore as I stared into Carlisle's eyes.

I couldn't help the memories that came to my mind as we stood there before everyone.

The first one was the hardest one.

I was six years old and it was dark.

It was night time.

"Esme I dont want you to be scared. My name is Carlisle and im here to protect you. I will protect you with my life. I promise." Carlisle said looking straight into my eyes.

I remember looking into his eyes and immediately I felt calm. I felt safe.

"Did you understand me?" Carlisle asked.

I nodded and hugged him.

He put his arms around me and hugged me to his chest and them he sighed. "Dont worry. He wont be coming back for you. I already made sure of that." He said.

I nodded.

"But just in case someone else tries, I will be there to protect you. I will take you home now." He said.

"Will you come with me?" I asked.

He picked me up and carried me in his arms. "I'll be there so you can sleep but your parents cannot know about me. It can be our little secret." He said.

I smiled. "I like secrets. I'm very good at keeping them." I told him.

Carlisle chuckled. "I know that you are." He said.

"Do you Esme Ann Platt, take Carlisle Cullen to be your husband? And promise to be faithful to him and be with him during sickness and in health, good and bad as long as both of you shall live?" The priest asked.

I blinked and then I turned to look at the priest and smiled. "I do." I said before I put Carlisle's ring on his finger.

Carlisle smiled.

"Do you Carlisle Cullen, take Esme Ann Platt to be your wife? And promise to be faithful to her during sickness and health, good and bad, as long as both of you shall live?" The priest asked.

Carlisle looked at me and smiled. "I do." He said before he put my wedding ring over my engagement ring.

I smiled.

"If there anyone here that opposes to the union in holy matrimony, speak now or forever hold your peace." The priest said.

There was silence.

"Without there being any objections, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." The priest said.

Carlisle put a hand on my lower back and pulled me towards him.

I smiled and stood on my toes to kiss him. I was wearing four inch high heels and it still wasn't high enough.

Carlisle kissed me slowly and without any hurry.

After all now we had forever to be together.

Everyone clapped for us and we stopped kissing.

"I love you." Carlisle said.

I smiled. "I love you." I told him before I kissed him lightly.

After being congratulated by everyone, even people I didnt know, the party started.

Everyone ate, and talked.

Alice had hired a photographer, I guess so she wouldn't be the one taking pictures, and he took pictures of everything.

He took pictures of me and Carlisle with Victoria, and the rest of the family.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. And Mrs. Cullen." Alice said on the microphone.

Carlisle and I stood up and we went to stand in the middle of the dance floor.

A waltz song started and we started to dance.

"Are you having fun?" Carlisle asked before he turned me in a circle.

I smiled. "Yes I am. What about you?" I asked.

He smiled. "As long as im with you im happy." He said.

I smiled. "I can't believe that we are married now." I told him.

He smiled. "It feels like a dream doesn't it?" He asked.

I nodded. "It does." I told him.

"You have no idea how happy you make me Esme. I'm glad that I waited all this time for you. You are the love of my life." He said.

I smiled and my eyes got full of tears. Then I hugged him. "I'm glad you saved me that night." I told him.

He put his arms around me and hugged me to his chest. "I knew that there was something special about you since that night. As I saw you grow up I figured out what it was." Carlisle said.

I looked up at him. "What is it?" I asked.

"You care too much about everyone. You have a big heart full of love for everyone. You are a very loving person and that is what I love about you." He said before he kissed me lightly.

I smiled against his lips. "We are both caring. I know that in the past you have been a doctor." I told him.

He smiled and chuckled. "Yes I have. I've tried saving lives and I saved some but I also couldn't save others." He said.

"Hey, what counts is that you tried." I told him.

He smiled and nodded.

I smiled and bit my lip. "So, you still haven't told me where we are going." I said.

Carlisle turned me in a circle and chuckled. "That is a surprise but I know that you will love it." He said.

I smiled. "I love everything that comes from you." I told him.

He smiled. "I'm glad that you do." He said.

We continued to dance until my father tapped on Carlisle's shoulder and asked for his turn.

I practically danced with every man that had attended the wedding.

After that Carlisle and I went to cut the cake. We shoved cake to each others face and then we started giving the cake to the guests.

Then Alice, Gisselle, Rosalie, Renesmee and Karla came.

"Its time!" Alice said taking my hand in hers.

"Time for what?" I asked.

"Time for you and Carlisle to go on your honeymoon." Alice said.

I smiled. "Okay. So where are we going?" I asked.

"Up to your room." Gisselle said.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because you have to change." Karla said.

"Oh." I said.

We went back inside and then we went up to my room.

They helped me get out of the dress and I was put in a brown short one shoulder dress with ankle brown short boots.

Rosalie put my hair loose and it fell down to waist in loose curls.

I sighed. My head felt better.

There was a knock on the door.

Karla opened the door and Emmett came in followed by Jasper.

"We're here for the bride's luggage." Emmett said with a smile.

I smiled and rolled my eyes. "They are those by the door." I said.

"Have a great time." Jasper said before he gave me a hug.

I smiled and hugged him. "I will." I told him.

Jasper smiled and let me go.

"I hope you got enough sleep all these years. Because you wont be getting some for a while." Emmett said.

I laughed. "You couldn't wait to tease me, huh?" I asked.

Emmett laughed and hugged me. "Well we wont be seeing you for a while, and who knows if yall end up spending the rest of summer over there. So I might as well tease you one last time." Emmett said.

I smiled.

"Well we are going to take these downstairs." Jasper said.

Emmett nodded and went to help Jasper with the luggage.

"Okay well you're ready." Alice said.

I nodded.

"Have fun." Gisselle said before she hugged me.

"I will." I said.

"I put a pack of birth control for two months since we don't know how long you guys are going to be staying there. Besides you're in high school and you still have to take care of yourself." Karla said.

I nodded. "If I were to become pregnant, would it be a normal pregnancy? Like the nine months time of thing?" I asked.

They shook their heads.

"No. Our pregnancy only lasts 3 months." Rosalie said.

I nodded. "Okay. So I will need the pill then. Well until we are both ready and during summer." I said.

They chuckled.

"Well you should get going. You dont want to miss your flight." Alice said.

I nodded. "But first I wanted to say something to y'all." I said.

They all looked at me.

I smiled. "I wanted to tell y'all that I am very thankful to y'all for doing all of this for us. The wedding to me was perfect and it wouldn't have happened without y'all." I said.

They smiled.

"We just wanted both of you to have the wedding of your dreams. The first wedding is the most special. The rest are just to try to fit in and so people wont starts suspecting anything." Alice said.

I nodded. "And thank you for everything. It was absolutely perfect. I will never forget it. I will forever be thankful." I said with a smile.

They smiled.

"Group hug!" Alice said.

We all chuckled and hugged each other.

"Houston?" I asked Carlisle.

Carlisle smiled. "It's just a stop." He said.

I smiled. "So you are still not telling me where we're going?" I asked.

Carlisle chuckled. "Its a surprise. I can't wait to show you but I can't tell you." He said.

I smiled. "Can you at least give me a clue?" I asked.

Carlisle smiled and sighed. "Fine. Its somewhere in South America." Carlisle said.

I smiled. "South America? Let's see. Is it Uruguay? Paraguay? Oh my God is it Argentina?" I asked.

Carlisle laughed. "We have a few more hours until we get there." He said.

Just then our flight was called.

Carlisle took my hand in his. "Come on." He said.

I smiled and hugged his arm. "You know I still can't believe that I have an eternity to be with you." I said so low that only he could hear me.

"I say that we're lucky." Carlisle said as we walked to the gate that would let us get into the plane.

We got on the plane and we took our seats.

"We should rest. I'll wake you up when we get there." Carlisle said.

I yawned and nodded. I put my head on Carlisle's shoulder and then I closed my eyes and fell quickly asleep.

"Esme the plane just landed." Carlisle whispered.

I groaned. I had been very comfortable with his arms around me, but I got up. "So where are we now?" I asked before I yawned.

Carlisle chuckled. "We are in Rio de Janeiro." Carlisle said.

"Rio? As in Brazil?!" I asked started to get excited.

Carlisle laughed. "Yes." He said.

"Are we staying here?" I asked as we walked into the airport to check in.

"Not really." Carlisle said.

"Okay." I said.

We checked in and got our luggage and then we for out of the airport.

There was a car already waiting for us there.

Two men put our luggage in the car and then we left.

I looked out the window as the driver drove.

There was people on the street dancing, talking, laughing, and having fun.

I smiled.

Carlisle hugged my shoulders.

I turned to look at him and smiled.

He gave me a light kiss on the lips.

The driver spoke in Portuguese and Carlisle spoke back.

I didnt even understand what they were saying so I turned to look back out the window.

A few minutes later me made it to the docks.

Where else could we go on a boat?

The driver helped Carlisle with the luggage and then he left.

Carlisle helped me get in a boat and then he go it.

This boat was different to the ones that were there. It was made for two persons only but it had enough space for our luggage. But the shape of the boat, I could tell that it was built for speed.

It was dark already.

Carlisle turned on the boat and then he turned to look at me.

I smiled. "Are we close?" I asked.

He smiled. "Yes, we are." He said.

I smiled again.

Carlisle started driving the boat and I looked at the city.

It looked beautiful surrounded by water.

A few minutes later Carlisle spoke again. "Look over there." He said pointing to an isle in front of us.

From our distance it wouldn't have been visible to a human but I could see it clearly.

"Is that were we're staying?" I asked.

"Yes. Its called Isle Esme." He said.

"Its called what?" I asked looking at him.

He smiled. "This is my gift to you. For making me the happiest man alive." He said before he gave a kiss.

I kissed him back and then I hugged his shoulders.

"Do you like your surprise?" He asked.

I smiled. "I love it. Thank you." I told him as he went around.

He slowed as we got closer to where he was going to be leaving the boat. He turned it off, and then we started getting the luggage down.

I tried helping but he didn't let me.

He picked me up instead and carried me wedding style to inside the house.

"Is this totally necessary?" I asked with a smile.

Carlisle chuckled. "I want to treat my wife the best, and I want to give her what she deserves. Besides I am a total gentleman." He said.

I smiled. "That im sure of." I said before I kissed him.

He kissed me back and then he set me down on my feet. "I'm going to go get the luggage." He said.

I nodded. "I'll take a tour of the house." I told him.

He smiled and nodded. "Hope you like it." He said before he gave me a light kiss on the lips.

Okay guys I am going to leave it there I'm sorry for taking long to update but I started working and while I was at work I was typing but I wanted to take my time to write this chapter so it would come out great. I do hope everyone enjoys it so the next chapter will be the last chapter and then there will be an epilogue and that would be it for this story.
