Hiya! Well I've been having such fun reading your reviews. Seriously, you make me laugh so hard. I have to try to remember to read them at home and not in public because, people already think I'm crazy and laughing maniacally doesn't help dissuade them from that line of thought one bit.
This story is coming to an end, *sobs*, I know, I know...you're all going "Nooooo!", well at least I hope you are. *sigh* You know what they say, all good things must come to an end right? Anyway, we're not there yet...so I won't get all emotional now. I'll save that for the last chappy yeah?

Chapter 62.
*EdPOV*
I was ripping threads out of the bottom of my shirt.
It was a bad habit I had when I was nervous.
We hadn't heard anything about Bella and the baby, and to be honest I was a little worried.
I mean, I know that labor was not always a short process, but Bella had been through a traumatic experience recently and might be severely stressed, which I'm sure causes complications.
I'm a bit of a worry wart.
James had gone to the hospital cafeteria to see if they had anything edible down there. I was kind of glad he was gone because I couldn't seem to think straight when he was around.
With everything going on at the moment, it seemed that thinking of James and any romantic notions I had concerning him, were purely selfish.
My best friend had been kidnapped and was now in labor and I didn't know if she would live or something would go horribly wrong.
I didn't realize that I was on the verge of a panic attack until I felt warm fingers touch my shoulder, barely brushing against my neck.
"Hey," James' concerned voice filtered into my brain. "Are you okay?"
I swallowed hard, taking huge gulps of breath into my lungs, which seemed to have shut down temporarily for a minute there. It was a little while before I felt confident enough to actually reply, and by this time James had set down what he had gotten and was kneeling in front of me. His eyes blazing into mine, a crease wrinkling his otherwise smooth skin.
"Edward, if you don't say something soon I'm going to have to slap you," he said quietly but firmly.
I didn't want him to slap me.
I know it wouldn't be the same as with Aro, but all the same to me, I really didn't want him to.
I cleared my throat and coughed, "I'm fine, sorry I worried you."
"Are you sure you're okay?" James asked.
"I just got too far in my head there for a minute," I said trying to give him what I hoped was a reassuring smile.
From the frown on his face, that obviously wasn't what the smile portrayed, "Must've been really dark in there, you were practically having an outright panic attack."
My eyes flashed up to his and I dreaded this moment.
I would have to share my ugly secret with someone else, if not I might lose him.
And I didn't even have him yet.
"Can I tell you about it sometime?" I asked quietly.
His expression softened and he gave me a small smile before nodding and rising from his position in front of me.
"I actually find anything down there so I popped over to Burger King," he said handing me a bag.
Inside was a burger and some fries.
"Thanks," I murmured, my stomach making warbling noises as the aroma of the food hit my nostrils.
"It's no big deal, now eat before the monster in your stomach eats us," James said with a grin.
I flushed and dug into my meal, food never tasted so good.
By the time I was finished, my anxiety had died down a bit. James had kept a steady conversation flowing, telling me tales of his and Emmett's adventures.
I had to remember I was in a hospital and not at some comedy night in a seedy bar. Tears of mirth streamed down my face as he regaled me with yet another hilarious story about him and his best friend.
Finally when the jokes had stopped and we just sat there, heads back against the wall, James reached for my hand and brought it to his lips. I couldn't hold back the gasp, and my head turned to find his gaze.
He didn't say a word, just gave me a smile and my hand a gentle squeeze.
I returned the smile and then closed my eyes, tiredness creeping up and taking root in my bones. Sleep took over before I even realized it, but I didn't mind. I knew James was there watching over me.

I couldn't believe this shit.
My best friend was having her baby and I was stuck here with these two fucktards.
The paramedics had finally arrived and they were bandaging up the two asses, whilst they waited for the police to arrive.
"I've been framed!" the dumbass known as Thea shouted.
The paramedic rolled his eyes and merely nodded at the idiot.
God, how did You make such stupid beings?
Something must've went terribly wrong when he made the batch those two came from.
Alice had gone to get something for us to drink from the kitchen, I told her preferably something strong. After the mess that went down, I need a good bottle of Jack Daniels to calm my nerves.
Jake and Jasper were on their way over, at least Alice remembered to call them. I was just too agitated and upset to think straight.
"Can't you just take them to the hospital and let the police meet you there?" I asked.
The paramedic gave me an apologetic smile, "I'm sorry miss, if only it were that easy."
Luckily Alice chose that moment to return with two officers in tow.
"Took you long enough," I said in way of a greeting, earning frowns from the officers.
Well fuck that, I could care less at the moment.
They approached the two idiots and all hell broke loose.
"I have been framed officer!" Thea shouted.
"Would you shut up?" Jane muttered.
Maybe all two of them weren't as stupid as I perceived.
"I am the victim here!" Thea continued.
"Ma'am could you please," one of the officers said. "We just have a few questions."
"I'm not saying anything without a lawyer present," Jane stated calmly confirming my previous thought.
The officer nodded and read her her rights and the paramedic rolled her out.
"The two of you have to come down to the station to make a statement," he said, addressing Alice and myself.
Alice nodded, "Yes officer."
The other officer had begun reading Thea her rights and I was happy when they started rolling her out.
Finally to be rid of these idiots and to get to the hospital.
"That blonde one!" Thea shouted as they reached the door. "She's the one who shot me! I was framed, she drugged me! I'm inno..." her voice was cut off by Alice slamming the door.
"Jesus," she murmured, rubbing her temple. "She was giving me a headache."
I laughed, "I can't believe that all of this shit happened."
Rapid knocks on the door interrupted us and I huffed, "For Pete's sake!" I stalked towards the door and ripped it open.
"Are you ok?" Jake's warmth wrapped itself around me instantaneously.
I felt myself melting into his broad chest, my nose finding the crook of his neck and breathing in his comforting scent.
"I'm fine now," I breathed.
"Jasper," Alice cried, flinging herself into his arms.
"It's alright darlin," he crooned.
I smiled and then balked, "Oh my God, we have to get to the hospital!"
There was a mad rush for the door.
Alice called Emmett's parents who had gone over to the next town on business; they said they'd be here as soon as possible.
I'm glad that the night didn't end with anything more serious.
We had all been pretty damned lucky.
Now all we had to do was go welcome the little munchkin to the world.
A/N: I'm not being mean, my eyes started to burn. I was gonna do share more about the little jelly beans but tiredness.
You'll get it tomorrow cause I was having a minor bout of writer's block, but thanks to my wonderful Pooh Bear, (my boyfriend) he gave me a pep talk and told me to just write about something and let the words flowed. So I wrote about my new obsession for One Direction...*shrug* Don't judge me lol And a few hours later...ta da! You have a new chapter :D
