Trapped in a G.E.C.K.
A sigh escapes Noodle as she packs her bag. She was in her room here in Little Lamplight, getting ready to move on.
She never really liked it here, what with all the kids happily throwing out friends just because they turn sixteen, and also insulting them. It's not their fault, everyone grows up.
Still, Noodle knew her time was soon, she was already thirteen.
So, she wasn't waiting around to turn sixteen, she was leaving Little Lamplight so that she wouldn't have to go to Big Town, the adult's playground. She was tired of listening to these laws, so she decided to leave and pursue her own desires.
'Okay, I got enough food and water to last a little over a week, plus some caps to settle down somewhere else.' thought Noodle. Giving herself a nod, she puts on her bag and leaves her room for the last time. She walks through the cavern, seeing the kids playing.
She then spotted a fifteen year old boy and she sighed sadly. That was Sticky, he was a good guy, but sadly in a few weeks, he'd turn sixteen and be kicked out.
Noodle shook her head and headed towards the gate. "Hold it." said a voice.
Noodle sighed and looked to see a boy younger than her approach. It was the mayor of Little Lamplight, MacCready.
"Something up?" asked Noodle. "Ya, you, where are you going?" asked MacCready. "I'm leaving, I'm tired of living down her, plus I'll be leaving in three years anyway, why not just leave now." said Noodle. "You leave when I say so, you still have three years left, after that, you'll be free to go to Big town." said MacCready.
"I'm not even going there, I'm leaving now." said noodle. "Try to and I'll shoot you." threatened MacCready. He made a grab for his gun but Noodle easily swept her leg out, knocking him over.
Taking his gun, Noodle pins him and smirks. "You know I'm stronger, so let me leave, or else your ego won't be the only other thing bruised." said Noodle. She let the child up and returned the gun.
"Fine, but you'll come crawling back once you see the outside and all the evil mungos." said MacCready. The pre-teen just ignores him as he opens the gate.
"Good-bye." said Noodle. "Ya, well, good luck, Noodle." said MacCready. She nodded and left through the gate, heading right for the surface.
*~* GORILLAZ *~*
A few weeks have already passed and Noodle was having a blast. She got to see so many different places, like a city that was an old pre-war ship, a city made from old planes, plus she got to see a few old buildings that still stood from before the Great War.
'MacCready was wrong, there's nothing wrong out here.' thought Noodle. Actually, she was heading back West, to pay a visit to Lamplight and rub it in their faces that the outside world was better.
Noodle was moving over a few rocks when the wind started picking up a bit. "Oh shit, please don't let this be a dust storm." said Noodle. She started running as the wind picked up more till finally, it was a storm.
"Shit, now how am I going to find my way." cursed Noodle. She moved slowly through the storm, she had no idea which direction she was going. She cursed at this misfortune when she bumped into something.
It was an old car, why was there a car this far out? Noodle looked up and could just make out the outlines of a building. "Thank god, I can lay low here for a bit." said Noodle. She made her way to the building, finding the door.
She went in and shut it, sighing as she was now free of the dust. She turned around to gasp silently. Inside the building were mole rats, a LOT of mole rats. 'Wait, they're not attacking, are they dead?' wondered Noodle.
She snuck a bit closer to jump as one moved, turning over. 'No, they're all asleep, good.' thought Noodle.
She carefully moved around them, hoping to find a space that was mole rat free. She got to the back to see more of them, but then noticed a metal hatch. 'Maybe this leads out.' thought Noodle. She looked around and finally noticed a switch. She hit it and the hatch opened.
However, a hiss gave her warning to a mole rat that woke up. It charged her but Noodle hoped down into the hatch after quickly hitting the switch again. She panted and looked back up, hearing the hissing and scratching of the mole rat.
She sighed in relief and looked to see a door. She goes through it to see a long tunnel. "Okay, this HAS to lead to a way out." said Noodle. She starts walking down the tunnel, looking for anyway out.
There was none, it was just one long tunnel.
She comes to a stop once she sees a large gear shaped door. "A vault, there was a vault hidden here, maybe there are some people inside." said Noodle. She goes to the control panel and hits the 'open door' button.
A loud alarm goes off and noodle waits as the door slides in before rolling away. She enters to find it was very clean, yep, there must be people here.
"Hello, anyone, I'm sorry to barg in, but I could use some help." called Noodle. Her voice echoed but it remained silent.
She walks in more to go through a door to see a robobrain. The robobrain faces her and gives her body a quick scan. "Greetings vault resident, you are 202 years behind schedule, please report to your G.E.C.k." said the robobrain. "What's a G.E.C.K., anyway, I don't have time, I'm just looking for some help." said Noodle.
The robobrain just ignores her and grabs her. "All residents are required to be in their G.E.C.K.S, please come this way." said the robobrain. "Stop, I'm not a resident, I just needed some help." said Noodle.
She tried pulling away but that only slowed them down a bit. Noodle was worried as she was soon dragged into a large room full of pods. 'Are these those G.E.C.K. things?' wondered Noodle.
One of the pods opened and the robobrain placed Noodle inside. "Hey, let me go, you heap of scrap metal." growled Noodle. The robobrain again ignored her as it strapped her in. "Resident now residing in G.E.C.K., have a nice sleep." said the robobrain.
Noodle growled and cursed, trying to escape. It did nothing as the pod shut, locking her inside. She looked around to see a small TV screen infront of her.
It turned on to show images rapidly changing. 'What is this?' thought Noodle. As she watched, she suddenly felt drowsy. Noodle tried to stay awake, but it didn't nothing.
She was soon fast asleep.
A/N: Now here is the second bonus story, where we find out a bit more of Noodle's story.
Noodle: Pretty interesting, but if I was the strongest kid in Little Lamplight, why wasn't I the mayor?
