A/N: Hello again guys, another new chapter for my awesome readers. All of your wonderful reviews really motivated me to make another chapter.

Kagome threw herself to her bed after locking herself in her room, she once again managed to sneak into her room without his dad's men seeing her. Its a special talent she learned in her younger years since she always secretly sneak out and go to Sango's house, her parents should have realized by now that strict parents always create sneaky children-and she is one of them. After the incident at school the whole school was in uproar, men were scattered around the building looking for her. Instead of hiding far away from her parents she ended up going back to their mansion even knowing the fact that her parents with their bodyguards will be waiting for her.

She remembered strolling around the city after leaving Inuyasha. His words hunted her and made her think of many things. Her worries about her parents were long gone and it focused on a certain man she is hopelessly in love with. She was thankful that she had enough courage and self control to not let her heart lead the way AGAIN. His words made her almost submit to him in one snap, that just proves how stupid and how gullible she is when it comes to love. Like what her friends says- she really falls hard. Her past relationship with Naraku made her realize that men are douche, she wasted 3 years of her life with him. Even though she knew the he has been cheating on her, just listening to him beg and say the prestigious 3 words she surrenders right away and forgives him. After 3 years of being blinded with love and being foolish she finally was able to leave him. After meeting Inuyasha she almost thought that maybe there is a decent guy out there but once again he proved her wrong.

She exhaled loudly and looked at the door. Footsteps and countless yelling and arguing could be heard from the other side. The rattling noise of keys and the pounding on the door made her finally snap out from her day dreaming. The doors opened and her parents came in followed by the annoyed Souta. Kagome didn't move an inch on her bed, instead she moved her face and faced the wall and mentally readied herself for what is about to happen.

"What the hell were you thinking? We're you planning to kill me by worrying me? You made such a ruckus young lady" Mrs Higurashi hissed

"Hojo's parents and I decided that you and him will be married next month, everything is now arranged all you have to do is show up and be beautiful. Be thankful his parents are understanding" she added. Mrs Higurashi faced her husband while massaging her temples. Her daughter is nothing but a disgrace and embarrassment in their family. How she became like that ? She has no idea.

"We will be leaving tomorrow morning at 9. No questions asked" Mr Higurashi stated.

"You made such a big scene here" he added "I hope my business partners doesn't hear anything about this"

Kagome sneered and stood up , she faced her parents and looked at them in disgust. "I am not coming with you! How can you be so unreasonable, cant you think of my happiness just for once?" Kagome argued. The sound of a slap was heard after. Kagome's eyes widened after the contact, she cradled her right cheek with both of her hands, while her mom just looked at her in disbelief.

Mr Higurashi laughed at his daughter like she just said some kind of joke."You can't do anything, Kagome I am not asking you to come with us it's a command, you are going back home with us whether you like it or not" he snapped, he has been fighting him self from strangling his daughter. She has caused so many problems and the last thing he needed was to argue with her.

Souta shook his head in annoyance, he is her older brother and he can't even do anything for her. He watched his parents in annoyance and to his sister who looked down to the floor in defeat.

"She is not going anywhere, she is staying here with me" his sudden outbursts shocked his Higurashi quickly gained his composure and faced his obedient son.

"Souta if I were you I wouldn't meddle with this problem" Mrs Higurashi stated

"Souta you have no business here, this is between me and your sister" Mr Higurashi said Souta growled in annoyance he had enough of his parents being unreasonable and he is done pretending to be the perfect son. It's time to stop pleasing them and start doing what is right

"I am not going to let you control her life anymore she is staying here with me" he said confidently

'Damn that felt good' he thought to himself.

Kagome looked up to his brother and smirked.

"My mom left the room screaming her head out while my dad left angrily" Kagome said while copying her parents comically.

"Oniichan pushed their buttons when he said 'she is my responsibility now, If you two are too fucked up to look out for her and be a good parents then maybe I will' " Kagome said impersonating a man's voice.

All of the boys and Kagome's friends started laughing at her and clapped proudly for Souta. "That was the first time he ever stood up for himself, for my sake" Kagome added while smiling warmly at her older brother

"That is my man" Kouga said while punching Souta on the arm

"I am so proud of you, you are finally a man" Bankotsu said while dramatically standing up and clapping his hands.

"What is going to happen now? Are they still bringing you back home?" Ayame asked

"No they left early, they said that I will be the one to blame if Kagome's life goes downhill" Souta said exagerratingly. "She is my responsibility now so all of you back off" he added while eyeing the boys infront of him.

After the small 'celebration' in the cafeteria the group made their way to their next class. Souta sat in his usual spot and waited patiently, he has so many things he needed to fix. After a while he spotted the person he was looking for. Inuyasha has been purposely avoiding him since the accident yesterday. It is not like he can blame him for that.

"Inuyasha can I talk to you?"

"Hey bro" he said casually

"I'm sorry I lied to you" Souta said while looking down

"I understand, I know you just want the best for her" he stated

"She is mad at me" he whispered but loud enough for Souta to hear. He has never seen Inuyasha like this before. Since when did this guy care about a girl's feelings? . He smiled at him, Inuyasha Takashi finally found love.

"I can't help you with your love problems, solve it yourself" Souta snickered

"Keh" Inuyasha replied.

Souta stood up, he gently patted Inuyasha in the back and whispered " you have my approval by the way, good luck bro"

Inuyasha smirked, after Souta's form disappeared from his sight he stood up from his chair and made a dash to his car. Fuck history he has someone to pursue.
