Mr Onigumo , these are my sons; Seshoumaru, the company's CEO. And right here is my younger son Inuyasha, he is going to be working as one of our managers "
"We are glad to have you as part of our company, Mr. Onigumo" Seshoumaru said while shaking the old man's hand. Followed by inuyasha imitating his older brothers polite gesture.
Mr. Onigumo looked at Inuyasha with interest "What a handsome young man we have here?"
"Thank you Sir" Inuyasha exclaimed
"I've heard a lot of things about you, Inuyasha." Mr. Onigumo said mischievously.
Inuyasha arched his brows in confusion.
"Anyway I have an important meeting to go to" Mr Onigumo said while smirking. The three men watched him go with confusion written on their faces.
Inu no taisho cleared his voice, trying to break the silence that was formed "Inuyasha you can go back to your office now, you still have a lot of things to do"
Seshoumaru smirked while looking at his younger brother; he sure will be enjoying seeing his brother suffer right in front of his eyes. Inuyasha rolled his eyes in annoyance and left the two men still smirking at him.
Inuyasha have started working at his father's company for quiet some time now, his father persuaded him to begin learning how their business works to gain more experience and of course to be ready when he decided to run his own business someday. His father gave him an office and a secretary of his own. Aside from the stress of running his own department, his work is not that bad. He finds its rather interesting, the only thing he probably hates the most about working is that he is working for his older brother. Instead of boosting his ego up, it's the other way around.
Inuyasha sighed heavily causing all of his friends to pay attention to him
"Bro, relax for a bit. You've been really stressed lately" Kouga said while sitting comfortably on his chair
"We have a spare today why don't we go to my place and have a drink?" Bankotsu suggested
"Sorry I can't go" Kouga and Miroku said at the same time. They looked at each other and then back to their friends while scratching the back of their heads.
"Sorry guys I have a date with Sango, it's our seventh monthsary. It wouldnt be good if I miss it right?"
"Going stronger aren't you guys? " Souta joked playfully
"Bye, have fun and don't forget to wear protection later okay?" Bankotsu yelled to their friends who were currently making their way out of the library, the two guys looked back and yelled "f*ck you dude" and gave Bankutsu a finger.
Everyone in the library had mix reactions. Some gave them a dirty look while a couple of groups laughed with them. The librarian gave them a glare and signalled them to be quiet with an annoyed and disgusted face. Souta and Inuyasha just laughed at the librarian's reaction while Bankotsu swore under his breath.
"Do you guys wanna get out of here now and head to Bankotsu's house?" Souta asked still with a sign of laughter on his voice.
"Sorry guys I need to go somewhere"
"you're going to ditch us for a girl ain't yah?" Souta asked Inuyasha
Inuyasha smirked at his friends and bid his goodbye.
He walked out of the library started walking towards his car while smiling at his self. He unlocked his car then started chanting to himself 'today's going to be a good day '

"Good afternoon sir " the waitress said while looking at him with a flirty look
"uh yeah reservation for two" Inuyasha said awkwardly
"Follow me please " he followed the waitress while looking at her body move seductively.
"Here you go Sir, would you like to order now?"
"Sorry I'm still waiting for someone"
"Just call me when you're ready to order okay?" she patted his arm then walked away but not without winking at him first. Inuyasha followed her a look when he was interrupted by a kick on his shin. He looked upfront and saw the most beautiful girl smiling back at him
"Who are you looking at huh?"
"Nobody babe" he said while handing her the bouquet of flowers he bought earlier.
"So I'm not good enough for you? " Kagome teased
"Of course not, you're all I need "
"Oh sure, shall we order now?" Kagome asked. Inuyasha nodded still staring at the most amazing girl in the whole world.
He still remembers the day she became his, the day everything fell into place.
-flashback -
After his talk with Souta, he dashed out of his class to run some errands. He made sure that everything will be perfect. Inuyasha tried his hardest to remember everything he saw on those sickening romantic movies that he was forced to watch with his mom. After finishing everything he needed to do all he need now is to find a certain blue-eyed girl. It didnt take him long to get her exact location thanks to her friend Ayame who spilled the beans after arguing with him on the phone about hurting Kagome blah blah blah. He knew that Kagome would never come with him even if he begs. He have to use force and help from a friend.
After getting a call from Miroku and meeting up with him in the parking lot of the mall where she was in, she knew that something bad will happen. Seeing the awkward smile of Miroku and his stuttering just proved that there's something wrong. Kagome found herself later on in Inuyasha's car, he somehow managed to get her in his car even with her yelling, punching and kicking.
"Why the hell am I here?"
"Just shut up, we are almost there, it is your fault why you're tied up inside my car right now. If you just gave me a chance to explain myself then I probably wouldn't have kidnapped you" Inuyasha tried to control his self, he cannot lose the tiny bit of patience left in his all of his efforts to track this woman down the last thing he needs is for his plans to go wrong because of his hotheadedness. His entire body hurt including his groin which she scornfully hit with her knee while trying to get away from him.
"You're unbelievable; I told you already, I hate jerks like you"
She slumped onto her seat and looked around her surroundings. She noticed that they are heading back to their school, she arched her brows in confusing. He looked at Kagome while smirking and then stepped on the break with 's body flied forward after the sudden stop, luckily her life was spared thanks to whoever invented the seat belts.
"Were you trying to kill me?" she yelled angrily
"We are here, let's go"
"Untie me, will you"
"Oh yeah I forgot"
They stepped out of the car and walked into the building, they made their way around the hallways, and to the familiar path. Kagome silently followed the man in front of her still confused to what is walked slowly to the entrance of the rooftop waiting patiently for Kagome to catch up with him. After hearing the footsteps stop right behind him he opened the door and what Kagome saw left her in awe. A circular table with candles placed on top was positioned carefully in the middle, while a romantic song could be heard playing from a distance. Red petals were scattered all over the floor and bouquets of different flowers sat carefully on the side but what caught Kagome's attention was the astonishing view of the whole city plus the sun setting down made everything much more romantic. Kagome took a couple of steps forward and continued to admire the scene in front of her.
Inuyasha smiled warmly at Kagome, all of his hard work paid off. Just seeing her warm smile made everything worth it.
"So shall we?" He walked closer to her and reached out for her hand
"We shall" They walked to the table, and took a seat.
"How did you do all of this?" Kagome asked
"You really are easy to be impressed" he grinned
Kagome just ignored his comment and looked at the dish right infront of her while thinking 'when did this guy became romantic' They were busily eating there meals when the song change.
"This song" Kagome mumbled.
Inuyasha stood up and walked to Kagome. He took her hands and pulled her to his arms
"This song reminds me of you"
"why?" she asked in a serious tone
" Just because it describes my feeling for you" He said while facing Kagome and putting his arms around her petite waist.

"Can I ask you something?" she nodded and looked at him while waiting patiently

"I don't know, what's with the question"

Kagome looked at him while arching her brows in confusion after realizing what he just said, she started laughing while hugging him tighter.
"Why the hell are you laughing?" his cheek turned red in embarrassment
"I am just trying my best here to be romantic, an acknowledgement or a compliment would be nice you know" all he heard was her cheerful laugh. He smiled in contentment, he could stay like this forever.

"I know that you don't trust me anymore, after everything I've done to you" Kagome flinched at his words, her arms droop down from his shoulder and her eyes met the cemented floor.
"Inuyasha, I'm sick of being played by guys like you "
"I promise you I'll never make that mistake again. I'll change just for you" Kagome pushed him away and went to grab her bag. She's been heartbroken a couple of times already, and trusting someone will be something that is hard to do now.
Inuyasha watched her descending form, he have to stop her. He cant lose her again. "Don't leave please."
Kagome stopped on her tracks after hearing the desperation on his voice
"Tell me a good reason for me to stay"

"Kagome, I love you" Kagome looked at him with wide eyes, Inuyasha gasped after hearing his own, being taken a back of his sudden boldness. He have never said those three words to anyone.
"I love you?" he muttered while looking at the ground
"yes , I do" he said, this time louder as realization finally hit him
"I love you" Inuyasha looked at Kagome and walked towards her
"Kagome, I love you! "
"Do you think I'll stay just because you said those words? You are exactly like him, I will never fall for something foolish like this. You just throw those words around that it doesn't have any meaning to you anymore. Just save it to your next victim"
"Kagome I love you because I know you'll make me a better person. I have never said those words to anybody" he held her hands tightly

Kagome looked at him in astonishment, everything he said struck her soul and made her doubt her anger at him. Millions of thoughts crossed her mind and she snickered in realization.
"You stupid jerk, are you playing some kind of sick joke on me right now? You don't even know what being in love feels like and you go on confessing on me like you are a veteran in this. Can you even differentiate lust with this love you are blabbering about?"
"I guess I will just know once I experience it. Call me dumb and foolish but I think I am in love with you" he said confidently, he moved his hand and caressed her cheeks. Kagome's eyes widen in shock, her heart beat skipped a beat, an unusual warmth surrounded her and it felt like millions of butterflies were on here stomach
"look carefully into my eyes and tell me what you see, do you think I'm lying?"

They stared at each others eyes while Inuyasha sang in time with the song. Those amber eyes, that pierces through her soul. Those eyes that shows so much emotion, those eyes that always make her melt.
"So shall we give it a try?" he asked
She smiled at him then gently moved to give him a quick peck on the lips.
"Yes!"
He hugged her tightly, he spun her around while shouting in happiness. As the song ended, the rain started to pour. Inuyasha put her down and they both stared at the sky.
"wow now everything is ruined, the romantic setup and all" he said while pointing at the table that is now soaking wet, the wine glass that is now filled with the water from the rain and the petals that are scattered on the floor. Kagome smiled and pulled him to the edge of the building
"Not yet, the sunset" she said while pointing at the sun. Inuyasha pulled her to a tight hug; he held her face and inched closer to her lips.

"That girl keeps flirting with you" Kagome said while taking a sip from her drink.
"It looks like it doesn't bother you at all though"
"Not really, I trust you"
Inuyasha smiled warmly at Kagome
"Want to go my place after? My parents aren't home tonight"
Kagome giggled then nodded in agreement.
"Cheque please"
"Where are you going babe?" Inuyasha asked sluggishly
"I'm just going to get a drink"
Kagome gently removed the arms wrapped around her and stood up slipping of the thin blanket covering their naked bodies. She went to get the nearest piece of clothing scattered on the floor.
Inuyasha moved his gaze and watched Kagome put his t shirt on with a spark of interest and affection on his eyes. Kagome left the room after and went to the kitchen.
She started rummaging the refrigerator for a cold drink, after getting a can of soda she grabbed a chair and took a sit while taking a sip from her bubbly drink. She looked at the clock it was already past midnight, her brother would be so worried about her. She was in deep thoughts when she felt someone's presence behind her back. Kagome looked back and saw amber eyes staring at her with affection. He put his arms around her and gave her tiny kisses on the neck.
"What took you so long?"
Kagome giggled at how her boyfriend can be so sweet and playful at the same time , it just makes him more irresistible. She stood up and faced him so he would have a better access to her neck; Inuyasha started kissing his way to her lips when they heard footsteps coming their way.
"What the hell are you guys doing? "
They looked back and saw Souta looking at them with a disgusted face while the others are staring at them with a knowing look.
"They are having their sexy time" Bankutsu said while elbowing Miroku and Kouga
"Right? right?" he added while laughing at his own joke
"Just let these two lovebirds alone will yah" Kouga said teasingly
"What the hell are you guys doing here?" inuyasha asked with annoyance
" it's boys night out" Miroku said nonchalantly while heading to the fridge to get a drink
" Oh Gosh my eyes" Souta said interrupting all of them
" You guys better explain yourselves to me"
The other guys went to the living room right away, leaving the three on their own. Inuyasha looked at the person right in front of him, staring at him with rage. He moved his gaze to the the girl next to him, her expression showed how worried and embarrassed she was at that moment.
"Let's hear them shall we?" Souta said irritably
Kagome moved her left arm and grabbed Inuyasha's arm for support , she felt herself staggering in nervousness.
"Yeah I need a drink first" He looked around and saw a shaking Kagome holding a can of soda. He grabbed it away from her and took a really long sip.
"okay bro listen carefully will you?"

"I love you too babe, I'll see you later " Inuyasha ended the call right away. He smiled at nobody in particular, he couldn't explain how just hearing her voice could make him smile and change his attitude for the rest of the day.
He smiled once more and then stood up to pick up the folder he just threw a while ago. He went back on his desk and sat on on his swivel chair. He opened the folder and turned it to the page where he left off and continued reading it. He was interrupted by a knock on the door by no other than his secretary. He will usually throw tantrum if he ever gets interrupted but not this day.
"Come in"
His secretary - Maria nervously opened the glass door while clenching her fists in fear.
"Sir this is urgent please calm down; you have an important meeting right now" Maria said with an unsteady voice while her eyes were closed.
"With who?" inuyasha said nonchalantly
Maria opened her eyes and jumped from surprise. Her boss is in a good mood, he was just throwing tantrum a while ago. He was having a bad day that he threw all of his folders to the trash can and even threatened to fire her if she ever interrupts him.
"It's your dad, Mr. Inu no taisho " Inuyasha's eyes widened in surprise, his dad never pays him a visit. He nodded in agreement and signaled his assistant to bring his dad to his office.
After a couple of minutes the door leading to his office creaked and sounds of footsteps were heard. Inu no taisho and Mr. Onigumo entered the room looking professional as always."Inuyasha I heard from your secretary that you're having a bad day" Inu no taisho said
"Dad I'm fine now, don't worry"
"Anyway Mr. Onigumo wants to talk to you about something"
Inuyasha arched his eyebrows in confusion
"Inuyasha I want you to meet my daughter, sweetheart come in"
Inuyasha looked at the door waiting for the person he is supposed to meet. He started tapping his foot in anticipation, his eyes widened when he saw her walked into his office. She smirked at his reaction and walked to her dad
"This is my daughter, Sakura"
"Hey Inuyasha, what a coincidence" she said with happiness and a sign of surprise on her voice. Inuyasha clenched his fists.
"Sakura its so nice to see you HERE in my DAD's company and not in school" he said the last few words silently.
He stood up and tried arranging the folders on his desk. He isn't a clean freak and doesn't usually like cleaning after his mess but in an awkward time like this it's the only right thing to do.
"So what can I do for the two of you?" Inuyasha said casually
"Oh if you wouldn't mind, i have a favor to ask you. My daughter as well your batch will be graduating in a couple of months, and she is planning on joining my company and she will be the one who'll inherit all my businesses. She doesnt know anything about running them so if it wouldn't be a bother to you , would you be kindly enough to teach my daughter about how business works? "
Inuyasha bit his bottom lip " Mr. Onigumo , uhmm I don't " was the only thing that came out of his mouth. He tried to reject his offer while being polite at the same time; in cases like this he could have said all the bad words he knows that would surely upset the old man right in front of him.
"You're not going to say no, are you? It's just that you two goes at the same school, you can teach her about it in your free time and during lunch. I also heard from my daughter that you guys hang out all the time"
Inuyasha took a deep breath, and looked at his dad hoping that he'll catch a hint and help him get out of this mess.
"Inuyasha , it's just a simple request. You won't mind right?
Inu no taisho said while looking directly at Inuyasha's eyes. Inuyasha exhaled loudly, he can never disobey his dad, when it comes to business he is the strictest person ever. He will never let his investors down, he'll make sure that they're happy and that they will stay in his company. He will do anything to make his company bigger
"I wouldn't mind at all, Mr. Onigumo" he smiled
"Thank you so much, so I'll see you at school Inuyasha" She said and winked at
