"So how was work?" Kagome asked while daintily playing with his tie.
"It was fine but as usual its tiring" Inuyasha closed his eyes and tightened his arms around the petite girl. They are lying on Inuyashas sofa in his new and very own condominium. Since he has been working in their company for a while now, he has also been earning his own money. It's a great feeling and a new experience for him, over the months he learned how to save up (for the first time ever) to buy his own condo. It gave him fulfilment for once, he worked his ass off and its paying off. Every now and then Kagome would stop by and have some quality time with her boyfriend since they barely have time for each other. They were savoring each others presence when a loud knock interrupted them. Oh they forgot to mention that the crew also hangs out there in Inuyasha's dismay.
"It would be really nice, if you guys could maybe give me a call BEFORE YOU BARGE IN AND INFILTRATE MY PLACE" Inuyasha yelled at the crew swarming in without care.
"Kagome did you bring some food?" Kouga asked while rummaging the fridge. Inuyasha sighed and went back to sit beside Kagome. This is something he needs toe get used to, getting your own place has its own perks and disadvantages.
"So what do you guys want to do after the graduation?" Sango asked while taking a seat near the couple.
"We should go to the beach" Ayame suggested
"That's a good idea. Are you going to wear a bikini ?" Miroku faced Sango, everyone started laughing after a pillow came flying to his face
"Well my parents are coming back next month for the party" Souta sighed
"Oh shit" Inuyasha mumbled
"They are already planning the party, its going to be at the mansion" Kagome said
It has been almost 3 months since she last saw her parents, after a lot of arguing Kagome's parents decided to just let them do whatever they want. That's how awesome their parents are but of course they didn't left without threatening them that they Kagome will go back to them crawling for their forgiveness which just made Kagome roll her eyes in annoyance. She can fend for herself, if she wants to. She has her own career in modeling for crying out loud. Now that they will be graduating in a month thing has been getting pretty stressful. Also her relationship with Inuyasha is becoming very unstable since a certain girl is trying to be a home-wrecker.
After the small request of Sakura's father, she has been spending her lunch hour with the crew and hanging on Inuyasha, literally.
"Inuyasha what do you do in the office?" Sakura asked while rubbing her entire body to his arm. Sango slapped her hand to her mouth to prevent her stifled laugh to be heard, while the rest of the group just snickered. To the others astonishment Kagome remained silent and calm the whole time, they were expecting the girl to be exploding from anger right at that moment.
The next day was no different from the day before. Bankotsu and Miroku made their way to the table and saw Inuyasha sitting beside Sakura and Kagome sitting infront of them silently eating her burger. They looked at each other and sat on the sideline, the rest of the crew came and did the same.
"Wow your body became more toned than I remember" Sakura said which made everyone in the table stop what they are doing and looked at Kagome. She also stopped from her eating and was just staring at her food. Inuyasha mentally slapped himself and glanced at the girl infront of him. 'He is so dead'
"Yea he works out whenever he has free time" Kagome said looking up to them and giving Sakura an overly sickening sweet smile.
"That's nice, I am sure he improved in other things to right?" Sakura said while feeling his toned arms. Inuyasha just sat on his spot like a statue. The group animatedly looked at Sakura and back to Kagome
"Yes, I am sure he did" Kagome said
"Oh I miss those days when I could kiss you anytime and you coming over to my house. Dont you miss those moments babe?" The whole group stared at Sakura in shock
"Oh no she didn't" Bankotsu said while snapping his fingers on the air which got a few chuckle from the group.
Kagome stood up from her spot and walked away, that was the only thing she could do at that moment. IF she argues back she will just add fuel to the fire. Inuyasha pushed the leech hanging on his arm and followed Kagome. Sakura smiled and left the table
"Kagome" Inuyasha grabbed her arm and gently pushed her to the lockers while trapping her with his arms
"I am sorry, you can slap me now" he said while looking down the floor
"Why would I do that?" she asked while caressing his left cheek. Inuyasha looked at her in confusion
"You are not mad?"
"Why would I be mad? You didnt do anything wrong right?"
"Of course I didn't, I thought you were jealous or something" he mumbled
"I trust you okay" she said after giving hm a peck on the lips
"So you are just going to let that girl do whatever she wants?" Sango asked while taking a bite from her pizza.
"I trust him, isn't that what is important in a relationship? I know he will not let me down"
" Its not that I don't trust him, its Sakura that I don't trust. You never know what that girl is capable of" Sango stated. Kagome looked at her best friend and sighed, her comment sure hit a spot.

"Hey Rin, yeah its lunch break. What were you going to tell me that is so important?" Kagome asked worriedly. She has been anxious ever since she got a call from Rin the night before. Rin wasnt able to tell her the news saying that she had to confirm it first. She ended the call saying that Kagome have to be ready which made her go berserk.
"It's about Naraku" Rin said
"What about him?" she mumbled as memories came rushing back
"Hey babe, how have you been?" a husky voice said from a distance. Kagome spun her body around to see where the voice came from. Her eyes widened in shock as a familiar face came to view
"He is back, he is heading there..." she heard Rin utter on the other line. The rest of the sentence was cut off as the phone slip from her hand to the marble floor.
"What are you doing here?" Kagome asked.
"Is there something wrong with visiting an old pal?" he smirked
Kagome rolled her eyes, after finally getting over the initial shock of seeing her ex boyfriend she was finally able to wrap her head around the situation.
"How did you know I was here?" she asked
"I am Naraku, I have my own sources" he said cockily
He slowly took a step forward to lessen the gap between him and the girl in front of him.
"What do you need from me?" she catiously backed away. Getting too close to him will only lead to trouble and the empty hallways only made the situation worst.
"Don't look at me like that. I just want everything to go back to normal" he stated "I missed you sweetheart" he added while giving her the sweet smile she used to love.
"I have to go now. I dont want to see you ever again"
Kagome hurriedly jogged towards the cafeteria. As soon as she spotted her friends on their regular spot, she quickly ran and sat beside her best friend while panting heavily. The whole crew diverted their attention to her
"Are you alright? What happened?" Sango asked
"Naraku" Kagome mumbled
"What about him?" she asked while taking a bite from her buritto
"He is here" Kagome uttered, she waited for a reply but all she heard was a sound of coughing and choking.
Sango chugged down her drink and pulled her best friend to the corner "What the hell is he doing here?"
"He wanted to see me"
"This is trouble" Sango stated
"Is there a problem here?" Inuyasha asked while leaning towards them
Both girls looked at each other and back to him
"Nothing" they said in unison
Just when she thought that things cant get any worse, it did. After a long stressful week, she came home to see her parents casually sitting on the patio drinking a cup of tea peacefully. Now she also needs to worry about her parents and Sakura and lets not forget the guy who suddenly appeared out of nowhere. She haven't even had a chance to tell Inuyasha about Naraku, and she is still contemplating whether its a good idea or not.
"Good morning Miss Kagome" Jaken greeted after entering her room
"Good morning. What can I help you with?" Kagome asked groggily
"Your mother said to wear this dress for the party later" he said while carefully setting a big box on the end of the bed
"Thank you" after hearing the door closed Kagome sighed heavily. Time passes by quickly, without even noticing it they are finally graduating in a week. The graduation party her parents are throwing for them was planned carefully. She still thinks that there is a hidden agenda for the said occasion, she knows her parents too well to not get suspicious. After so much thoughts she decided to start getting ready.
"You look beautiful lil sis" Souta smiled at Kagome
"Thank you. You dont look bad yourself" she said while patting his shoulder
They made their way down the stairs and joined their friends. Most people from their school attended the party as well as their parents. The party was also a way for the parents to talk about businesses and gives more opportunites in that matter.
"Are you guys excited for our graduation?" Ayame asked
"Hell yeah" everyone said in unison
"So when are we leaving for our vacation?" Sango inquired
"Lets go the day after the graduation" Miroku suggested
"Where are we going?" a familiar high pitched voice asked
Everyone rolled their eyes as Sakura approached the group
"Nowhere" Sango said in annoyance.
"Where is Inuyasha?" Sakura ignored the looks from the crew and looked around
"He is on his way" Souta said casually
"Oh he is over there" she squealed in delight
Inuyasha made his way towards the group, he smiled instantly after seeing his girlfriend standing gorgeously with the other
"Hey guys" he greeted everybody.
He stood beside Kagome and put his left arm on her waist.
"Hey Inuyasha" Sakura said while grabbing his right arm
"My dad told me that I can go to your house tomorrow. Pick me up at 9 am" she added while pulling him towards her.
Kagome just rolled her eyes in annoyance. She really wants to trust Inuyasha, but she never know what happens when they are together and behind the close doors. Every single day she hates herself more every time she suspects him. Because of her jealousy arguments and fights became a regular thing for her and Inuyasha. Even after getting a reassurance from him, she still couldn't shake of the ill feelings and thoughts she gets whenever they are together.
"Sure" Inuyasha mumbled
He couldn't even say no, it was a strict order from her father. Always keep your business partners happy. It was a lesson he has to keep in mind if he wants to be successful in the future.
"Before I forget I want you guys to meet someone" Sakura said
Kagome was busily spacing out when another person joined them. Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard Sango gasp. She looked at her best friend and followed her line of vision
"This is my brother Naraku" Sakura smiled
He greeted everybody and stopped at Kagome. He smirked and winked at her
"We didn't finish our talk last time"

Inuyasha dragged Kagome away from the group after Sakura and her brother left.
"Who the hell is he?" he asked while intensely staring at her
"He is none of your business" Kagome spatted
After seeing Sakura and her jealousy plus her issues coming back, nobody can blame her if she get into a bad mood. Naraku making an appearance in the most unexpected time just added to her sour mood. The last thing she needs right now is Inuyasha getting into the same boat as her.
"It is my business. Kagome do you know him?" Inuyasha asked.
"No, I just met him at school last month. I saw him in the hallway and he asked me a question" she said
After giving it a thought, she decided to not just tell him about it. Well part of it was beacuse she's being questioned right on spot but if he is already reacting this way what would happen if he finds out that he dated that jerk. What she said was true somehow anyway, he came to her at school and that was the first time she saw him after breaking up with him.
"You are a terrible liar Kagome" he said while shaking his head in disappointment. He knows Kagome too well, he knows when she is telling the truth or not. She would always play with her left thumb whenever she tries to say something she is not confident with. These last few weeks, she has been acting weird and suspicious. He knew that she is keeping something from him and Sakura adding to the scene made the situation much more worst. Their relationship has been lately, nothing but full of worries and doubt. He walked away from her without giving a second glance, he put his hand on his pocket and headed out of the mansion. He needs fresh air.
Sakura glanced at the couple in the corner, a devious smile formed on her are going smoothly for her, she went back on talking to the other guests when she noticed Inuyasha walk towards the exit. She looked at the direction he was from and saw Kagome looking at the floor while cluthing the side of her dress. Another smile formed on her mouth, this was what she wanted to happen. Break her heart into pieces slowly. She glanced at her brother and gave him a suggestive smile after getting a nod from him. She walked towards the door.
"Inuyasha wait for me" Sakura called from a distance
He looked back and continued walking but in a slower pace. After catching up with him Sakura quietly panted, running with a long dress and high stilettos can be tiring "Where are you going?' she asked charmingly
"I need some fresh air and its stuffy inside"
Inuyasha lead the way while Sakura just followed quietly, they stopped in the garden and sat on the bench near the fountain.
"What is troubling you?" she asked
"Its nothing"
"Inuyasha you can talk to me about your problems" Sakura said while staring at her shoes
"Dont worry about it. Thank you though, I appreciate your concern" he said while standing up
Sakura grabbed his arm and looked at him.
"I love you" she whispered
"I know"
"That's all you are going to say?" she stood up and faced him. She is sick of him disregarding her feelings. She gave him everything and all she wanted was for him to love her back. Is that too hard to ask?
"Sakura, I love someone else"
"Inuyasha I gave you everything wthout asking anything in cant you love me back? I am beautiul, I am rich, I can give you everything. I am perfect." she said
She closed the distance between them and held his face, she kissed him hard while a tear escaped her eyes. She is so pathetic. She loves him too much that she will do anything jsut for him to be hers.
Inuyasha pushed her away and held her arms to restrain her from doing something
"Sakura stop it. You cant do this" he said
He looked away while releasing her from his hold
"I am in love with Kagome" after everything that happeed between him and Kagome, he is still determined to work things out between them.
"I will tell my dad about this" she said.
"Dont include our parents in this problem"
"I will tell your dad everything that happened between us" she threatened.
"What the hell are you going to tell him? This is ridiculous"
"I will tell him I am pregnant with your child" sh stuttured
"You can never prove that to him. This is too low even for you Sakura" he rolled his eyes
"Watch me. I can convince my dad to do something about your company. I know that your precious company is having some problems"
Inuyasha's expression changed, she smiled in victory. She got him.
"What do you want me to do?"
"Kiss me and tell me you love me"
"Promise me you will stop this fckin game" Inuyasha said angrily
He put his hands on both her cheeks and inched closer to her lips. He kissed her roughly while he tightly closed his eyes. Kagome's face came to his mind, he imagined holding her in his arms. Like his lips has a mind of its own, moved in a slower pace. He kissed her passionately with much enthusiasm and meaning. After their lips part away, with eyes closed he whispered "I love you"
