To anon: I respect your opinion and I am sorry if my story is not going the way you wanted it to be. But honey there will always be a problem that will arise somewhere in the story. And how boring will the story be if there is no third parties of some sort (cliche but whatever)or a character being stupid :P.

With eyes closed, he whispered "I love you"
she stared at the guy in front of him. Her heart skipped a beat, his words felt so real.
Inuyasha opened his eyes and looked at Sakura
"I love you" he said once again
"Sorry for not realizing it sooner" he brought his right hand to her cheeks and caressed it.
Sakura's eyes widened in surprise. This was something she has been waiting for. She put her hand over his right hand and leaned onto his touch

Kagome clutched her dress in anger. Her feelings are all jumbled up. She doesn't know what to do anymore. In the end she decided that it's better to solve her and Inuyasha's problem right away instead of waiting for a better time and place to do it.
She took a deep breath while trying to clear her mind. If she wants to settle things between them . One of them has to be at least in the right mind. She exhaled loudly and started walking towards the direction Inuyasha went to.
As she made her way to the front door, she noticed her friends looking her way with a worried look. She smiled and nodded to them to show that everything is alright. She stepped out of the marbled stairs and sighed in relief. She was finally away from the deafening sound of chatters and all she could hear is the sound of leaves swaying with the cool summer air. She looked around her surrounding for a sign of Inuyasha when she noticed footsteps coming towards her. She glanced on her side and sees Naraku approaching. As though her feet has its mind of its own. She started running towards the garden while hitching her dress to avoid unnecessary accident.
She hid behind the bush to avoid being seen. Running away from him is the best thing she can do at the moment. She doesn't know how to face her feelings. Her thoughts where disrupted when she heard someone speak.
She quietly peeked through the bushes in fear that Naraku would see her. The view from her place was dark that she couldn't see clearly. As the form of the two people became crystal, she gasped in surprise. She took the scene infront of her and agape in confusion.
Her breath hitched as tears started forming in the corner of her eyes. Her hands balled into a fist as she further listened to the talking figures.
"I love you Sakura"
"Sorry for not realizing it sooner"
A tear escaped as she slowly retreated from her spot without making a noise. She wouldn't want to interrupt their special moment. As soon as she was far enough from them she finally let out a sob she has been holding
She stumbled a couple of times while trying to balance her staggering body. She brought her hand up to wipe her tears away not caring if her mascara gets smudged. She stopped and rashly removed her heels. She held it with her left hand while her other hand hold her dress up.

"I love you" he said once again
"Sorry for not realizing it sooner" he brought his right hand to her cheeks and caressed it.
Sakura's eyes widened in surprise. This was something she has been waiting for. She put her hand over his right hand and leaned onto his touch
He leaned over her and whispered "You are pathetic"
His hand dropped down to his side and he looked her in the eye
"Were you expecting me to say that I wanted you?" he said
"I am sorry but I can't continue playing your games anymore" He walked away
Sakura watched his figure disappear from the dark. She brought her fingers on her lips, she could still feel the warmth of his lips tingling on hers. She sneered as his words repeated on her mind
"it's too late now" she whispered

Kagome ran into the crowded room without giving a damn whether she looked like a crap nor that everyone is giving her a weird look. She ran past her friends who tried calling her and went straight to her room. She definitely made a great entrance.
She locked her room and sat on the end of her bed. There she released all of her bottled up emotions.
She was so stupid to believe that there's a happy ending, she's already a young adult for crying out loud. She should have known better.
Kagome reached for her phone and with a shaky voice she made a quick call. Yup call her a rash person but once she make a decision it will never be changed.
Her thoughts were disrupted when she heard a loud banging on her door.
"Open the door Kagome" Sango said from the other side.
She quickly get up and opened the door she threw herself to her best friend and cried her eyes out. She needs her best friend and only her.
"Its okay I am here for you. I will listen when you are ready to talk"
Inuyasha went back and joined the group. He needs to talk to Kagome, after what happened with him and Sakura he felt guilt and regret. Regret that he played along with Sakuras game and guilt that he let her do whatever she wanted.
"Inuyasha what happened?" Souta asked as soon as he approached them. He arched his eyes in confusion
"We saw Kagome ran to her room, she was crying" Ayame mentioned
"oh shit" he mumbled
He quickly ran upstairs leaving the group in confusion. Inuyasha knocked furiously to her bedroom
"Kagome can we talk" he said
"what happened?"
'she couldn't have seen them, right?' he thought to himself.
The door suddenly opened and an angry girl came to view
"Kagome what happened?" he asked in concern
"We happened" she said with shaky breath
"what do you mean?"
"I am sick of this Inuyaha. I think it's better for us to break up" she said firmly
"Kagome what are you talking about?"
"Don't play dumb with me. Why don't you just go back to Sakura"
Inuyasha's eyes widened in surprise
"Let me explain. Its not what it looked like" he pleaded
Kagome shook her head, she is done with all of this. A girl could only take so much.
"I will talk to you tomorrow, when you finally calmed down and I will explain everything okay? I love you" he said and left

Love is much more complex that you everyone thinks. It doesn't prepare you to disappointment
"Dont tell me you are agreeing to dad's demands?" Souta asked, still trying to talk some sense to her sister. After hearing everything that happened, he couldnt blame her that she would make such a rash decision. But what can he do this is her life, all he can do is support her and be there for her when she needs him.
"Everyone's happier without me in the picture" She smiled sadly
"Its time to move on" she added
She was still gullible and naive to trust again. She should have known better.
Forgetting him will be the most difficult thing ever. The feeling of his touch, the way he looks at her and the warm, sweet toe curling kisses. She would never forget how he made her feel special.
