Kagome groaned as she slowly opened her eyes. She peered through her sleepy eyes and saw a familiar person grinning her way. She closed her eyes and smiled.
She went on her side and mumbled "Baby stop please"
Kagome tried to get back from her interrupted sleep when another unstoppable earthquake from her bed stir her back to consciousness
"Momma its already morning" a sweet voice yelled while jumping up and flopping down the soft king size bed. Kagome breathed deeply and fully opened her eyes "Why are you awake so early?" she asked
"Its my last day of school today then we are leaving" she beamed at her excitedly.
Kagome propped herself up and looked on her bedside. The alarm clock reads 5:00 am. She chuckled silently, her daughter sure is an early riser.
"Ok so what does my little angel want to eat for breakfast?" she asked enthusiastically
"I want chocolate chip pancakes mommy" she said jumping up down the bed from happiness.
She grabbed a robe on the chair next to her bed, after putting her robe on she helped her daughter down the bed and they made their way to the kitchen.
"Good morning" Rin greeted as she heard the footsteps coming her way. She put her newspaper down and faced them.
"Good morning Rin, you are awake early too" Kagome smiled
"I am just so excited for tomorrow. I have to buy new clothes today" she squealed
She then diverted her attention to the little girl smiling at her
"and good morning to you little sunshine"
"Hi Aunt Rin" she said while making her way to the chair next to her favorite Aunt
"Sophia, do you want milk?" Kagome asked as she spotted a carton of milk in the fridge she took it out and poured it in a tall glass.
"Yes mommy"
Kagome poured another glass and brought it to her daughter when she spotted the newspaper on the side. Rin immediately retrieve the paper and hid it on her back as soon as she noticed Kagome's expression changing.
"It's okay Rin" Kagome mumbled as she went back on preparing their breakfast
It has been 4 years since she left Japan, and it has also been 4 years since she last seen him. Her thoughts were cut short when she smelled something burning. She gasped and immediately flipped the pancake. It has been 4 years but the past always hunt her down. Rin looked at best friend worriedly, she shouldn't have been careless if she just didn't forget to throw the newspaper then she wouldn't have acted this way.
Kagome quickly did her hair and makeup. She grabbed her bag on the table and went downstairs, she still has 30 minutes to kill off. She sat on the sofa and grabbed a magazine, she stared blankly on the make up pictures on the first page, she still couldn't get the picture on the newspaper out of her mind. 'Inuyasha Taisho and Sakura Onigumo's wedding is cancelled' a picture of them was on the front page, they were smiling happily as Sakura happily showed her engagement ring. They were going to get married she thought to herself. Lots of things sure happened on the 4 years she was gone.
Even after 4 years there were still feelings left behind, just seeing his picture made her act uneasy and out of her mind what else is going to happen if she sees him in person. She sighed heavily, she heard little tiny footsteps coming down the stairs. She stood up and made her way to the door. Starting anew was her original plan but his ghost would just never leave her quietly
"I am ready momma" Sophia said
She stared at her beautiful golden orbs "Lets go" she smiled warmly and extended her left arm for her to hold.

"Mr. Taisho another reporter is on the line" his assistant terrifiedly mumbled on the intercom
"I told you, I am not giving any statement. The wedding is cancelled that's it" Inuyasha yelled furiously.
He massaged his temples and leaned on his chair. Why do they need an explanation if he wanted to cancel the wedding. It was his wedding not theirs. Preparing for the stupid wedding gave him a big head ache and cancelling it gave him a bigger head ache. But he wasn't regretting it, he knew he made the right decision.
A knock on the door interrupted him from his thoughts, he quickly fixed his posture and pretended that he was reading something important
"Come in" he said
An old lady came in and stood infront of him, she cleared her throat to get his attention
"I am busy cant you see? Make this quick" he spatted at his personal assistant
"Your folder is upside down" she said with a poker face
Inuyasha's face turned beet red as he tried to turn it , the clip fell on the process and the papers scattered on the floor. He groaned and threw the folder on his desk
"What do you need old woman" he yelled
"Inuyasha keep you temper to yourself and I want to remind you again to sign the magazine contract now. I have to submit that today and we have to get started on the cover soon" Kaede stated and coolly walked away from the furious man. She has been working for the Taisho's for almost 20 years, she is pretty much used to the screaming and yelling. She realized on her 20 years of working for them that all of the men in the family has quiet a temper. She walked away with a smirk on her face
"Yea yeah yeah" he said while taking a look at the folder she left for him, he quickly signed the contract.
He exhaled loudly and turned the tv on, it has been a very exhausting day for him. He was about to doze off when the loud noise from a special show came on. He grunt as he knows that the show is all about gossips. A special news about may even appear on todays show, he grabbed the remote and he was about to change the channel when a news report popped up "We are here today at the airport to see the model Kikyo"
"Kikyo what are you doing here in Japan" a reporter asked
"I am here to visit my brother and I also have some special projects to do" she removed her shades and smiled at the camera
A loud thud echoed around the room as the remote fell on the floor
