A new chapter for you guys

"Are you okay ?" Rin asked the girl beside her

Kagome nodded her head lightly and tightened her hold onto the sleeping girl on her lap.

"We will be arriving in Japan in 20 minutes, please buckle up your seat belts" the captain said on the intercom

Kagome put her shades on and walked straight to the exit, as soon as she reached the door hundreds of screams were heard and camera flashes appeared everywhere.

A reporter blocked her way and shove a mic on her face

"Kikyo why did you come back to Japan" she asked

"I am back to visit my brother and some business matter" she said while giving them a forced smile

Going back to Japan is the least thing she wanted to do, but here she is after 4 years back to the place where she swore she would never go back to.

She did her best to answer most of the questions with a simple nod and flash them a bright smile. She managed to make her way from the hundreds of cameras and people to the limousine waiting for her.

As soon as she entered the vehicle she let out a big sigh

"Thank god that was over" she mumbled

All she heard was a snicker on the background, she looked at her companions and faked a pout

"Are you making fun of me?" Kagome asked as she slowly scooted to her daughter she brought her hand to her sides and tickled her. The car was filled with delightful laughs the whole ride to their destination

"Kagome we are here" Rin smiled at her best friend

They got out of the car and walked towards the familiar mansion, a young man from a distance hurriedly jog towards them with a big smile

"Oniichan" Kagome gave Souta a big hug

"I missed you so much" Souta whispered

He let go of her sister and squatted down to look the little girl in the eye

"How is my princess?" he asked

The little girl ran to his arms "I missed you Uncle Souta"

"Why didn't you visit us last Christmas?" she stuck her bottom lip out

"Sorry baby, Uncle Souta had something to do. But you are here now with me. We are going to have so much fun" he said excitedly

"Yay" she jumped up and down and ran to her mother

"Mommy is that okay?"

Kagome smiled at her and looked back at her brother who was smiling warmly at her daughter

She remembered 4 years ago when she found out that she was pregnant, her brother was one of the people who supported her through out the first few years when she was still trying to get used to a difficult time. She smiled at her brother, its still good to be back. She missed her brother so much.

Kagome entered her old room, she smiled as she scanned the room. It was still the same as she left it before. She carried her luggage and placed it on the side of the bed. She opened her purse and placed her phones and wallet on the nightstand when she noticed a picture frame facing down. She picked it up and looked at the picture, it was a picture of her and Inuyasha. She cant run away forever, but avoiding is the best thing she could do.

"I didn't change anything in this bedroom" a voice said behind her

Kagome blinked a couple of times before facing her brother

"It is alright, I will make some adjustments in this room myself. I will be staying here for awhile anyway" she said and went back on organizing her stuff

"I am just glad your back" Souta said

"Hello. Yes. Sure" Rin answered excitedly

"Thanks. OK tonight at 7 pm" she ended the call and faced her best friend

She looked at her with an expectant face, Kagome glanced at her and waited for her to say something

"Ok what is it?" she finally asked after a minute of silence

"Its final, they picked you as their model for the next catalogue" Rin said with a big smile

"You have a meeting with the CEO tonight" she added

"That is great" she said nonchalantly

After being idle in the media for years she decided to go back 2 years ago, and things has been going great ever since.

"I probably should get ready now then. Have to impress Mr. CEO" Kagome winked while placing down her magazines

"You better, I will take Sophia out tonight okay?" Rin mentioned after taking a sip from her tea

"Sure dont stay out too late" Kagome smiled and headed to her room to get ready

Kagome slipt on her high heels and looked herself once more in the mirror before driving down to the place where they are going to meet up. She entered the restaurant and asked for a reservation under the name of Mr. Z. The waiter kindly pointed and walked her to the table on the corner of the room. She sat on the chair and waited quietly. The ambiance of the restaurant was pretty relaxing, a song was quietly playing on the background while chatters audibly liven up the atmosphere. Her train of thoughts were interrupted when she heard someone speak behind her. He is finally here.

"How have you been?" a husky voice said

Kagome straightened herself and stood up to face the guy she will be working for from now on. A small gasp escaped her mouth as a familiar person stood in front of her.

"Mr. Z?" she asked confusedly

"You can just call me Inuyasha, for old time sake" he said staring at her intensely

"Sorry I think this is the first time we met" Kagome lied while trying to control her shaky voice. This is not the time for her to break down.

to tucker the dog: thanks for sharing your opinion, I know I kind of rushed some of the chapters and even if its hard to say I think I might agree with you. This is my first time writing something like this so yeah and I was actually thinking of editing the past chapters.

Anyway I am just so glad that lots of people followed and reviewed this story. Since this is my first ever fanfic, getting this much reviews is already a big accomplishment for me. Thank you guys soo soo much )
