"Fine. I know we dont have a choice. I fcked everything up" he yelled at his personal assistant
It was definetly not his fault that all of the model backed out since he was too 'picky' and they cant stand his rudenss and it certainly isnt his responsibility to persuade a model even if she is the last choice they have. Like who do they think he is. But there he is early in the morning in a warehouse were a photoshoot was taking place. His assistant sure is great at manipluating people.
He walked inside and observed his surrounding. Flashes were everywhere as people ran around the room passing out clothes and many other stuff. Everyone was working really hard. But as soon as someone stepped on the center stage where all the cameras are facing at. Everyone quickly stopped as they were too busy being fascinated by the girl. They were all unknowingly being pulled by her charm. She was the center of the attention, he stepped closer to get a better view of the supposed charmer. She was supposed to be one of the best.
Kikyo smiled beautifully at the camera. She was a natural. She posed and moved around gracefully with ease, like breathing air naturally. She looked at the camera and smiled brightly, her expression also changes according to whatever the photographer in charge tells her to do. Everything she did was beautiful regardless. Her head bobbed on the side as she brought her arms up in the air and posed sweetly when she caught a sight of a certain gold eyed man.
Her bright smile faded as soon as she spotted him. Her arms drooped down to her side as she tensed a bit. Memories from last night all came rushing back into her mind, while unnecessary feelings and longing surrounded her fragile heart as she studied his cocky yet handsome face. Damn you feelings
Inuyasha studied her expression, her expression changes from time to time like she was battling her own thoughts. He walked towards her without hesitating, not caring whether he is interrupting the session. He is Inuyasha Taisho he can do whatever he wants.
Everyone around him stopped what ever they were doing as they watched the young man strutted towards a certain model.
"Hello Mr. Taisho" the photographer greeted
He ignored all the acknowledgements as only one girl got his full attention.
"Why did you stop?" he asked with a smirk
"Maybe because you are interrupting this photo shoot. Your presence is not needed here" She faced her coordinators and looked at them expectantly. Wanting to know why the hell this guy is there. Couldn't he just let her be.
"Accept the contract" he said nonchalantly
"Please stop bothering me. Are you some kind of stalker?" she asked. Her back facing him
A part of him winced as her cold exterior wasn't something he is used to. He still sees her as the sweet girl he once loved. But he realized his friend was right. They are completely different persons. He stared at her with a bored look, completely masking his true feelings: nervousness and afraid of rejection.
"Why cant you just accept it?" he said which came out a bit pathetically
"I am not going to be your model" she said firmly
Her determination to avoid him was plausible, but he is someone that will never give up. He decided to push her button "Why? Is it because you are hiding something?" he asked which made Kagome flinch a bit
He watched her expression change from a solemn to an enraging one. He got her.
"I have nothing to hide. Please just get lost" she faced him and gave him a big smile. She started to walk away when she heard him speak again.
One more step closer "I think its because you are scared? Or are you intimidated by me? Or maybe because you like me?" he said with a big smirk plastered on his face.
She stopped on her track and gritted her teeth in anger.
"Who the hell would fall in love with an ass hole like yourself?. And please why would i be scared?"
He looked her up and down and sneered "IF you are so tough then accept it. Be my model"
"Fine" she yelled
"Good"
He walked away with a big smile on his face. "Tomorrow. 8 am sharp. I don't like lazy people" he called out
He waited for an answer and all he heard was profanity from the mouth of the blue eyed beauty.
'Lets see how tough you are Kikyo Kei'
"Inuyasha are you sure about this?" Bankotsu asked as he looked his friend up and down from his chair. His best friend has gone crazy.
Inuyasha walked closer to his friend and showed his serious face to prove his point
"I am telling you she is back. Kagome is Kikyo Kei"
He groaned as he watched his best friend study him like he was a lunatic. After going to him for help right after his and 'Kikyo's' unfinished dinner, he thought he could help him solve the mysterious occurrence. But there he was standing in front of Bankotsu like he was talking to some psychiatrist who was taking some note of how his development is going. If the guy wasn't his friend he would have strangled him a long time ago as he gave him yet another weird-ed look.
"Fck Bankotsu. Cant you see the resemblance?" He gritted his teeth in anger
Bankotsu looked at the folder in front of him. The face structure and her features sure looked exactly like Kagome. But Kikyoo Kei looked more fiercer and outspoken, he have seen Kikyo Kei on interviews before on first look one could mistaken her as Kagome but they have different personalities. The Kagome he knew was a sweet, caring girl and Kikyo was the complete opposite.
"Inuyasha I think you need to rest and think about this thoroughly tomorrow" he placed the folder down and gave him a small smile. He might just need some rest, the Sakura matter which hasn't been resolved yet and managing the company probably stressed Inuyasha a lot. After seeing his friend shake his head in disbelief he knew that he have to give him a good reason for him to leave the matter.
"Fine you want me to investigate this model. Fine lets do it" he gave up
Bankotsu quickly typed on his computer and looked through the files he himself was only allowed to look. After graduating from high school, he decided that becoming a private investigator is something that suits him. A couple of hacking here and there, he finally got the documents he needed.
'Kikyo Kei 23 years old. Started modelling in the age of 10. Parents died on a car crash when she was 16. Studied in Europe, majored in Fashion Design'
Inuyasha stared at the screen in shock, he was sure about his feelings. They are the same girl he loved before.
Bankotsu patted his shoulder for reassurance "Maybe you are just missing Kagome that's why after seeing Kikyo you tried to divert all your unsolved feelings to her."
Inuyasha straightened his posture and looked at the ceiling, he tried to think through everything that happened that day. Maybe his friend was right. He was so stressed out over cancelling his wedding and the stupid reporters and out of nowhere a Kagome look alike popped out of nowhere. He was right Kagome is never coming back again, she made that clear after sending him a picture of her with her fiance and a message of how she truly felt. She moved on already and here he was still stuck on the past...
