Kagome screamed incoherent words as soon as the man was out of sight. Everyone around her was smart enough to avoid her for the rest of the day. Just giving them one scary look made them crawl back into their shell. As soon as the photographer congratulated everyone for their hard work, Kagome has already dashed to her car and drove away to her manager aka stupid Rin.

"Rin do you know what the hell happened today?" Kagome asked as soon as she entered their house. Rin looked away from her computer and stared at her like she lost her mind. Well she was actually already loosing her mind.

Rin arched her brows, seeing her friend's mood made her cringe in fear. Every time she sees her friend walk into that front door she was always at the worst mood possible.

"umm NO?"

"Inuyasha was at the photo shoot, he wanted me to sign the contract" she sighed while flopping down beside Rin. Being furious all day can actually be tiring. It physically and mentally drained her.

"You turned him down right?" she asked eyeing her friend because of her wierd behaviour

"I said fine" she said in a hushed town but loud enough for Rin to hear.

Rin looked at her, completely surprised. "What?"

The last thing she expected Kagome to do is get close to him.

"Dont look at me with those judging eyes. You are my manager you were supposed to turn them down, I already told you last night to tell them to never contact me again." Kagome said loudly, her blood pressure rising up again. Being angry has becoming an everyday thing for her since she came back to Japan, well particularly since she encountered that Inuyasha. She doesn't know if the reasons are maybe her conscience is whispering things into her mind or maybe she is guilt tripping herself from hiding a very big secret from him or because her old feelings are resurfacing again.

She wishes it was the former.

"I just don't want to see him again, we never know what's going to happen if we stay here longer he might find out soon" Kagome added

Rin looked at her friend hopelessly, she should have realized that her past will hunt her sooner or later. Despite her efforts to conceal her lies, the truth cannot be hidden forever. It is bound to be revealed in someway or another. "Kagome you cant run away forever"

Kagome understood the double meaning of her statement. "I will think about it"

She walked to her room as she slowly think about her situation, she is just walking straight to her doom and seems like fate is helping her get there faster.

Kagome sat frozen on the driver's seat, after much deliberation she decided to sign the contract. She decided that after finishing her contract she will take the first flight back to Europe with her daughter and forget everything that happened. She looked at her phone to check to time. 8:10 am.

She has been sitting in her car for the past 20 minutes, she still doesn't know how to face him. Yes she was able to survive their small encounter yesterday but today will be different she docent know how she will be able keep up with her facade nonetheless her growing lies. After encouraging herself silently she was able to open the car door and walk out.

As she walked out of her car, the worries and fear on her face was consciously replaced by a fierce look. She hides her insecurities and imperfections when she becomes her other self. Becoming a model is a lot of work, especially in the media, showing your weaknesses can be used against you. Making an alias for herself helped her a lot to have her privacy in her life and also to experience different things as a model, but sometimes it can get out of hand especially keeping up with her secret especially when she have to deal with people she knows as Kagome.

She walked graciously to her destination, as soon as she reached the closed doors she briefly stopped for a moment and breathed deeply. Its showtime.

Kagome went inside and with her cold exterior approached the man wearing an annoyed look

"When are we starting?" she asked him

Inuyasha faced her, his eyes widened for a second as he took in her appearance. He will never get used to seeing her face and call her a different name.

"Kikyo" he mumbled, her name rolled on his tongue doubtfully.

His anger has diminished and was replaced with worry and a small excitement inside which he will never admit to his self. He cleared his voice and showed a poker face

"You are late" he said while staring at her blue orbs.

Kagome stared back at him like it was nothing but inside her stomach flip while her heart thumped against her rib cage.

"Sorry was busy" she answered

Inuyasha was the first one to break their silent staring contest, as he called over the stylist. After getting ready, Kagome stepped out of the changing room wearing a floor length black dress with a daring slit on the side. The dress perfectly hugged her figure. Her hair was curled and was gathered on a side ponytail.

With not much of an effort she easily glided down the spotlight and got ready for the photo shoot, her stylist was beside her making small adjustments on her dress when an unexpected situation happen. Her eyes widened in shock as she realized what will happen soon. She watched Inuyasha walk towards her with a small smile playing on his face. He was wearing a tuxedo and a white tie

"Looking good Inuyasha" the photographer playfully commented

Inuyasha gave him a thumbs up and walked to her side

"I thought this is a solo photo shoot" she protested as he watched Inuyasha get comfortable beside her.

"That's what I thought too, but this will come out on the next cover of the magazine. The CEO and the best model in the company in one picture plus a 2 page interview for the both of us." He stated nonchalantly while securing his tie.

Kagome mentally cursed as she hid the worry on her face while thinking of a good escape plan

"You are not thinking of backing away. Are you?" he asked like he was reading her mind

She gave him a fake smile "OF course not"

Their small talk was interrupted when the photographer announced the start of the shoot.

"Inuyasha put your arm around her waist and Kagome slightly face your body towards him and put your hands on his chest. Look at each others eyes" the guy yelled as he continued clicking his camera.

Kagome's tensed body was undoubtedly felt by the guy beside her. He tightened his hold on her as a familiar feeling and scenarios flashed back on his mind. It just felt so right, it's like her body was molded to fit perfectly to his hold. His smile from before has faded long ago as he looked at her with longing and yearning.

Kagome chanted curses on her head as she put her hands on his chest and look him in the eye. Her mind was battling with so many thoughts. One side of her wants crash her body into him and kiss him like there's no tomorrow and another one wants to hold his tie and pull it until he chokes to death well maybe just until he suffers. It took every ounce of self control to keep any emotions to be visible on her face.

She decided in the end that it is best to just to think about the outcomes that will happen if ever she let loose of her feelings which worked for her a bit to be more confident around him and be less tense

Yet somehow, his face ended up closer to her face while her arm unconsciously snaked around his neck. She doesn't know how they ended in that position but she would never complain nor protest. Yes, she has already lost her mind.

"Perfect" the guy screamed happily as he finally gotten a good shot.

"Okay good job you two, next photo shoot is next week. Kikyo the next one is going to be a solo photo shoot, sorry again for the late warning about today's. But I am sure you enjoyed todays session" he looked at both of them with a big smile on his face and went back on looking through the pictures.

Kagome let out a big breath that she has been keeping for a while, she will actually loose her mind for real this time if something like that happen again. After changing to her regular clothes, she headed to the exit while saying good byes to the people she met on the way out. A sudden call of her name made her stop and look back. Inuyasha ran towards her.

"Thanks for today. I mean thanks for your patience, since everything was all of a sudden. Just thanks" he blabbered with a big genuine smile on his face.

She couldn't help but smile back, her smile slowly faded when she spotted a girl coming their way.

"Hey babe" she said as she put her hand on Inuyasha's elbow and smiled at Kagome.

"Aren't you Kikyo Kei?" she said with an excited voice, she shook her hand and clung back on him

"This is my girl friend Sakura" Inuyasha said

"Nice to meet you. I am sorry about the wedding, I hope you two work everything out, you make a lovely couple" Kagome said with a big smile on her face, she looked at her phone after and faked a shock on her face

"Oh I have to go now, I have a meeting with my manager. Bye" she said and hurry off towards the parking lot

She walked out of the building with much grimace, she sounded so pathetic and stupid 'You make a lvoely couple my ass' she mumbled silently. Why did she sounded so desperate and pathetic when she said that. Maybe she actually is. See, getting angry is becoming a regular thing for her, it is like routine for her- See Inuyasha, then get angry. Her eyes suddenly widen when a thought cross her mind. Was she jealous ? She has already moved on long ago or did she.

"Kikyo" a voice said from a distance, she looked back expecting it to be a staff when she came facce to face with Sakura. She faked a smile, which she has already mastered and greeted her enthusiastically.

"Hey Sakura, do you need something?"

"Cut the crap" her voice and facial expression changed into a serious one.

"What do you mean"

"Why are you back Kagome?"

She swallowed a small lump on her throat as she tried to find words to explain herself

"This is not the first time someone mistaken me as Kagome, I heard that I look like her." Kagome said with a small laugh.

"I know everything Kagome, you dated my brother before. Dont worry it will be our little secret" she said while cockily raising her eyebrow up.

Kagome smirked, she knows Sakura and her little games . "I dont really care if you know, don't worry I will keep my distance from you dearest love. I only came back here for business purposes, and I will leave as soon as it is all done. Don't feel too threatened darling" she said and went inside her car leaving a stunned Sakura frozen on her spot.

'Can things get more complicated and twisted?' she mumbled as she drove away
