Hi guys? Um so what's up? Sorry I haven't updated for a while, I have a valid reason okay? My laptop died, all my files and documents all gone and I have to remember all the chapters I wrote before and rewrite it. The only thing I could write on was my iPod or a rock. Of course I chose the iPod, I had to use my mom's iPad in order to upload this. Yay for tech stuff. Anyway I'm soo sorry, I'm going to try to update again as fast as I could. Thank you so much for your patience, you guys are awesome.

"Kagome someone's here to see you" Rin knocked on her door.
"Who is it?"
"better to see yourself" Rin answered with a small smile.
She followed Rin down to the living room. A familiar brunette woman came to view as she made her way towards the couch. The girl gave her a nervous smile as she intently watched her reaction.
Kagome stopped on her tracks as she stared at the woman in front of her. Events may have separated them and she wouldn't deny that she despised her decision. There was also a time when she declared her hate on her for not being there during her rough years but everything became better. Past is past. Whatever happen she will still be her best friend, her sister.
"Sango" she ran to her and put her arms around.
"I missed you so much" Sango said as tears trailed down her cheeks
"I didn't know how to find you. After quitting the media business I lost all of my connections. I am sorry"
"I am just glad to see you. That's all that matters" Kagome said as she gave her a warm smile
"Mommy" small little footsteps headed their way. Sophia looked at the woman beside her mother and shyly smiled at her.
"Hello" she said as she went to Kagome's side to hide from the stranger.
"Sophia this is Aunt Sango. Remember I showed you some of her pictures?"
Kagome glanced at her best friend. She has a lot of explaining to do.
"Sango this is my daughter Sophia"
Sango diverted her attention from Kagome to the young girl.
"Hello Sophia" she said. A small gasp escaped her lips as her eyes landed on her pair of golden hues.
She looked at Kagome who smiled nervously.

"Sorry I wasn't there to support you" she said
"You didn't know" Kagome said. After noticing her about to rebuttal she quickly countered "Sango it's alright. Everything is better now. I am a happy single mother"
"Enough about me. Tell me what happened after those 4 years I was gone"
A small smile graced on Sango's lips as she tried to recall the past few years "I am engaged"
"I am happy for you Sango. Who is this lucky guy?"
"Miroku" she said as her face started to turn red from embarrassment. Who would have thought that she would end up dating a pervert nonetheless marry him in a few months. The idea made her cringe but weirdly gave her butterflies in her stomach.

Kagome's eyes widen for a second. She quickly concealed her shock by giving her a hug. The thought of Sango knowing her big secret suddenly became a wary idea.
"What's your plan now? Are you going to tell Inuyasha ?" she asked
"I don't think that's a good idea. Sango I could trust you with this secret. Right?" Kagome asked.
Inuyasha finding about Sophia is the last thing she wanted to happen. Besides they have their own lives now. She is contented with what she have. Keeping it a secret is for their best interest- she assured herself.

Inuyasha waited patiently for Bankotsu to come back. Ever since his small wave of craziness the previous weeks, his visits to his office for background checks became a regular visits to hang out. Even if he didn't want to admit it to himself, he missed hanging out with his best friends. After high school they all took different paths. It has been a while since the last time he has been with the other four.
A knock on his window snapped him out of his trance. He rolled down his window and looked at his best friend who seemed lost in thought.
"What took you so long? Let's go!" he grumbled as he put on his seatbelt.
Bankotsu remained on his spot looking over the other side of the parking lot.
"She really does look like Kagome eh?" he said. Inuyasha whipped his head and stared at his friend
"She's here?"
"Kikyo Kei's car is parked near the entrance. She was waiting inside her car" he said as he sat on the passenger seat.
He quickly removed his seatbelt and headed into the coffee shop. As soon as heard that she was there, all of his other thoughts were forgotten. His plan to forget about Kikyo was replaced with the sudden urge to see her. He went inside without any plan. His goal is to satisfy himself, maybe then he might stop thinking about her and finally understand that she and Kagome are complete two different people. He should probably ask her out for a dinner and maybe he will learn how to differentiate people and he might even see her and Kagome's difference. He tried to convince himself that it was the case.
A beautiful woman stopped him at the entrance and smiled excitedly at him
"You are Inuyasha Taisho right? Can I please have your autograph?" she asked as she jumped up and down. Making him put aside his previous thought and focusing on the woman in front of him, particularly on her chest.
"and where do you want me to sign?" he grinned
"on my chest please"
His grin became wider.

Kagome stared at her phone hopelessly. Rin was ditching for a man she just met on her way to meet her. She rolled her eyes, her manager is desperate to settle down. After hearing from Sango that she's getting married, the woman took her man hunting to the next level of course she doesn't want to be left behind. Rin's almost 30 yet she haven't even been in a serious relationship yet. She exhaled and got out of her car. Kagome headed to the entrance when she noticed two figures blocking her way. She recognized him right away. She was about the head back to her car when she noticed who he was with- a woman proudly flauntering her front to him. Her hand formed into a fist as she watched him from a distance. A stupid grin formed on his lips while staring shamelessly at her.
Without a second thought she loosened her arms and walked to the door. She stopped behind the two figures and cleared her throat.
"excuse me!" she said irritatedly.
"If you two want to flirt, can you bring it to another place. You are blocking my way" she yelled.
Inuyasha looked at her after realizing her presence. A small smirk formed on his lips as he watched her fuming.
"Can you get out of my way?" she yelled
"I think you have enough space to pass us" the woman said as she pointed her fingers into the space separating them from the wall. Kagome gritted her teeth furiously and walked past them but not without bumping him hard on his shoulder.

He waited patiently for her outside, while amusedly replaying in his mind, the incident that happened a couple of minutes ago. If he didn't know any better, he would think she was jealous. The idea intrigued him and interestingly made him smile. As soon as he spotted her, he quickly joined her.
"what was that about?" he asked as she stoically ignored him
"so know you are not talking to me"
"Please don't ruin my day. Your presence already puts me in a bad mood" she said as she stopped in front of her car
"So are you doing anything tonight? How does dinner sound like? " he asked ignoring her comment
"In fact I am really busy tonight. I'm going to relax in the comfort of my house, far far far away from you and your annoying face." she barked and entered her car.
Inuyasha was left smirking from her outburst. She sounded just like Kagome when she's jealous. The thought froze him in his place. What the hell is happening to him?

"Do you want to grab some drinks?" he asked Bankotsu as they headed to the bar connected to a restaurant. He suddenly felt drinking after seeing Kikyo, she can really affect him in many different ways.
"Sure why not, let's just order food there. I'm starving"
"I'll follow you inside" Inuyasha headed to the washroom when someone caught his attention. With the room full of adults, a little girl stood out from the crowd as her small giggle sounded like a melody in the room full of distinct chatters. She slowly licked her rocky road ice cream as her eyes focused on the small screen of an iPad in front of her. He smiled.

"Hey Sweetheart" he said as he approached her, he doesn't know what it is with him that he approach people with no reasons. Well it's particularly just Kikyo and now this familiar little girl. It was like something pulls him to them.
"Do you remember me?" he asked
Her soft golden eyes landed on his while a toothy grin formed on her lips
"I do, you are the ice cream man" she said as she lick her ice cream.
He chuckled at her silliness. Inuyasha Taisho is now also known as the ice cream man.
"I am. Are you with your mommy?"
"Sophia" a surprise sound came from a distance. He looked at the person who joined them and his eyes widen for a second.
