So please go support the original content I'm just making a few grammar and adding more contacts to the background and all the stuff so the story won't like 100% copy and paste. Naruto and Sasuke we're losing a lot of ground with Kaguya, they just couldn't keep up with the Rabbit Goddess, she was just too quick for any of their weak attacks to connect, they had burned all their chakra into so much jutsu hoping to finish the fight quick before Kaguya was warm enough but it was futile.
Sasuke gasped hardly as his feet began to feel wobbly, he was too tired to even stand. Naruto was busy trying to catch Kaguya with his shadow clone jutsu, but Sasuke with his sharingan blazing could analyze the two's movements and Kaguya we'll it showed she was toying with Naruto as the blond was gasping for air with each clone that popped out.
Kaguya never stopped popping every single clone that Naruto made and a tthe time the raven hair couldn't help but feel for Naruto, the fact he was trying so hard to not accept that the battle had already been one was to much for the Uchiha to see. He couldn't let his friend be humiliated by some old hag from ancient times. That was HIS job!
Unsheathing his Kusanagi Sasuke was ready for one last bout, this time if he we're to die he would die in a cool way. It was the way of his clan, to die on the battlefield, not in the hospital on a bed, but to die like a LEGEND so your name is remembered forever. 'One last...dance.' Sasuke thought not knowing he was sounding like the Uchiha that had terrorized him a few hours earlier.
"Naruto!" Sasuke called out catching the blond's attention. "She's mine!" Sasuke shouted as against his body he fought through the fatigue rushing at Kaguya full speed. "Kaguya!" with an angry war cry Sasuke shouted out his lungs, he was done with this hag, who was she to make him exert himself so much and still be humiliated.
"Sasuke, no!" the Uchiha's friend called out but Sasuke ignored the man beginning to slash at Kaguya, who weaved out of the way. Not even wasting his time Sasuke morphed his Sharingan into the eternal mangekyou sharingan. He had only one chance to finish this hag as he would then die of chakra exhaustion and fatigue. He needed to find the right opening.
Naruto being Naruto backed up his friend as when Sasuke had already slashed Naruto would then strike, this had Kaguya have very little time to react and this began to push her back a bit. Sasuke with a big upper body slash made the women have to jump back but Naruto was on her and due to her shock of not seeing the blond she received a hard upper cut sending her into the air.
"Sasuke!" Naruto shouted as the Uchiha smirked 'Time for my signature.' the Uchiha thought in the moment as he jumped into the air, 90 degrees above Kaguya he went through hand signs. "Burn Out!" he declared finishing his final sign.
"Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!" the torrent of flames came out of Sasuke very aggresively sending Kaguya to the ground. "Not done yet!" Sasuke declared as his mangekyou blazed with fury. "Inferno Style: Flame Control Sword!" summoning just the ribcage and arm of his Susano'o. The arm the took a black sword made from Amaterasu flames out of the ground as with a big slash to the ground the attack struck. A massive explosion filled the entire area with a massive blast radius as many debris we're thrown all over the place.
Naruto shielded his eyes with his hands as he tried to fight the force of the blast but sent back a few yards by the attack. Kaguya was nowhere to be seen when the aftermath of the attack had ended, Sasuke fell back first to the surface, as his Susano'o had disappeared.
"Ha...ha" Sasuke breathed heavily as he grunted in pain, opening his eyes, he could see darkness slowly enhancing it's contrast. 'So this is it.' Sasuke thought as at that time Kaguya was seen in a crater she didn't look too damaged as only her clothing received punishment from Sasuke's jutsu. Ripped up a bit, she got out of the crater much to Naruto's surprise.
"How the hell is she still alive?!" Naruto shouted out, as he watched Kaguya slowly approach Sasuke, her left hand had been glowing with a bright white light. 'That can't be good!' Naruto thought as he could sense she was concentrating her chakra to her hand. Whatever jutsu she was going to do, would totally be fatal. "Sasuke!" Naruto shouted out, but he could see his comrade not budging at all.
'What the hell is he doing?!' Naruto thought as with haste he ran to save his comrade, Kaguya was closing in on the Uchiha and Naruto had a lot of ground to cover. "Come on...COME ON!" Naruto shouted at himself as his friend's life was in danger, using Kurama's chakra with a one tail cloak around him his speed increased. Kaguya being infront of Sasuke had a cold stern look on her.
"You destroyed my dress...you will now pay for that!" she shouted as she raised her left hand high. Sasuke seeing death just smirked. "If I had the chance...I would have done it again...it was hideous anyway." he muttered out as this was heard by Kaguya who was pissed by this as a vain popped on her forehead. "Such insolence. DIE!" bringing down the attack, Kaguya was too late to notice Naruto who jumped infront of Sasuke as a sacrifice, the Uchiha from his view was shocked to see Naruto sacrificing himself.
When the jutsu hit the cloak, Naruto was sent onto Sasuke as the next thing, a chain reaction between the cloak and jutsu ended with both youngsters being consumed by a bright light, that even shocked Kaguya herself. Next thing she knew the two we're gone.
Three weeks had passed since both Naruto and Sasuke had found themselves in this never ending forest. Not only the fact they we're no longer on the battle field the pair had a big problem, they were back to being children. For some reson whatever that jutsu did, made the pair grow down to their toddler ages.
Both seemed very struck by this as it meant they would have to go through their child phases once more. Though with the bad news there were good news the pair we're in good health but the jutsu's that they could pull back in the war weren't going to work as their chakra coils hadn't fully developed.
Due to this Sasuke was only able to make basic fire jutsu and Naruto could only due the shadow clone jutsu. The pair seeing they needed each other for survival decided to work together to survive and find out where exactly they were. Naruto and his clones would go hunting for deer in the forest, while Sasuke with his fire style gathered wood and made a fire that the pair would cook the fire and feast upon the food as to only lay beside the flames to sleep as under the stars.
But today was just another day of traveling through the never-ending forest. "Sasuke...I still don't recognize anything..." a much younger-looking Naruto wearing only a green shirt with the Uzumaki seal in front, blue pants, and sandals pouted to his friend as he scratched his dirty and rugged blond hair.
"It's just trees and more trees, everywhere we look tree there and a tree here. Call me paranoid but isn't that the same tree we passed fifteen minutes ago. Are you sure this isn't a genjutsu." the Uchiha just sighed hopelessly at his friend, the fact he was his friend to begin with was embarrassing for Sasuke to accept but the fact he asked him this question since the day they ended up here, every day was annoying.
"How many times should I tell you Naruto, this isn't a genjutsu. I had my sharingan check us every day for the past three weeks to make sure that we weren't under the influence. I couldn't possibly get in a genjutsu anyway."
Naruto just frowned a that "But you don't have the mangekyou Sasuke, maybe a three tomoe sharingan can't see through mangekyou type genjutsu, since it's a different level."
Hearing that Sasuke sighed "It doesn't work like that Naruto, any level of Sharingan can detect genjutsu I think even the Hyuga clan's Byakugan is able to see through it." Sasuke informed his friend who sighed. "If that's the case what do you call this, genius? Since you're all about sounding like the calm one."
"When in dire situations Naruto one should keep their calm that way to think of clear ideas to survive, Iruka sensei literally taught us this, don't you remember?" Sasuke told his friend who blinked. "I must've slept or wasn't paying attention when he taught us that." Naruto said as Sasuke rolled his eyes.
"I feel like if you hadn't found me Naruto you would have died a long time ago." Sasuke told his friend. "We'll never know since I found you." Naruto retorted. The pair continued marching forward and by luck they eventually found a clearing. A breaking of trees infact as now a surface of grass stood before them. With cheer the two walked further only to find themselves staring at a large view.
They we're on a cliff that showed a very familiar view, even the cliff itself seemed very familiar, not only that the pair felt a sort of nostalgic feeling as they looked down below to see a hot spring streching all the way till it was covered by the forest from below the cliff.
"Uh...Sasuke...Is it me or does this view look kinda familiar?" Naruto asked as Sasuke couldn't help but nod. "Yeah." the raven haired muttered. 'Why does it look familiar?' Sasuke rocked his brain a bit as Naruto did the same but when they noticed why the view was familiar the pair shouted in unison.
"This is Konoha!" they both declared. "B...but it can't be we're the wreckage Pein did!? Where are all the tents?! The roads around Konoha? The factory that nobody speaks about on top of the cliff?" that last part had Sasuke rock his head a bit.
"Konoha had a factory?" the blond nodded. "Yeah, that forest we just came from, there should be a building there, not a forest." Sasuke mused a bit hearing that. "Well...I guess my hypothesis was right...damn it." Sasuke hissed kicking a rock off the cliff as it fell downwards, hitting a man wearing blue armour and a haouri with his clan symbol.
"Oow!" the man stated as he nursed the top of his head, opening his eyes and seeing the rock, the man grumbled under his breath, as he looked up the cliff. His brother had told him to make sure that no one would settle in the area they would be buying from the Fire Daimyo as it would cause a big problem if people needed to be forecly moved. Tobirama had been here for a few days now and not a single person was seen found, that then changed when he was hit with a rock, as beginning to sense for any chakra around the area.
'What the? Two chakra signatures up the cliff...kids.' Tobirama thought
Back with Naruto and Sasuke, the two we're still trying to piece together why was there no village. "Wait so Sasuke are you saying, Konoha was destroyed?"
"No, there would have been a lot of rubble, plus it would've taken decades for the trees to take the places that the buildings have once stood. Do you know what that means, Naruto?"
"I feel like you're going to tell me."
"We were transported to the bloody past, before Konoha was even made."
Naruto blinked twice to what he just heard. "Run that by me again?" he asked as Sasuke huffed. "That jutsu Kaguya did, it must've been some weird space time jutsu that made us jump through time, in our case back in time."
"Whaaat!" Naruto screached out loud causing Sasuke to flinch at the loud noise. "Hey not so loud, I'm not happy either but we are in the past and there's nothing we can do." Sasuke reassured the blond who just grew red with anger. "Damn, that bitch!" screamed the blond once more. "Calm down will you! I forgot how loud you can get." Naruto went silent for a second as he asked.
"So there's really no way of going home?"
The Uchiha crossed his arms. "Not that I can think of, unless you have a space time jutsu?" which had the blond slump as he also didn't have one. "So if Konoha isn't here anymore, that means we don't have a home. When will it be formed then, Sasuke? Which year are we in, maybe if we can figure out that maybe we can know when Konoha will be formed." Naruto told Sasuke who just froze at the mention of year and when Konoha will be formed.
"Wait...if there's no Konoha...and it will be formed then...Naruto we're stuck in the bloody Warring States Era!" just then there was a deep silence of realization between the two as horrific expressions we're on their faces.
They had learned about the Warring States period, a very deadly era Iruka-sensei used to call it. To think they we're now stuck in that time.
"Say since there's no Konoha I guess my revenge is meaningless, how about we call a truce?" Sasuke asked since now he relied on Naruto to survive as Naruto would rely on him. "Fine by me, if we are in the Warring States it's better that we don't fight amongst ourselves."
The pair took their time to climb down the cliff hoping to not fall off to their deaths. Arriving to the ground the pair we're met by a treeline. Sasuke was about to say something about trees when a rustling of leaves and distinctive sounds of sandals against bark was heard. "Damn it!" Sasuke cursed, where they already found?!
Grabbing Naruto by the shirt, he dragged him into some bushes and whispering to the blond to keep quiet as someone was here.
As if being in the past wasn't a brain scrambler by itself, the pair was met with a nostalgic view. They watched through the bushes as Senju Tobirama, the second Hokage of Konoha walking towards them, the man looked the same as they remembered him in war, exept he looked kind of younger and he was very much alive and scowling.
"Uzumaki." The man's voice sounded like a sharp knife. "Get out of that bush, right now." the second born of the former Senju clan leader demanded as Naruto could only help but cringe, they'd been caught rather easily.
"Damn it!" he muttered. 'Wait...how did he even know Naruto was an Uzumaki?' this caught Sasuke by surprise. 'The second hokage isn't one to mess with.' he thought. "Naruto just do what he says." Naruto looked at Sasuke in shock but his facade said everything, they weren't going to escape.
Getting out of the bush, Naruto was taken aback when the Senju's killing intent seeped out of his cold eyes. "What are you doing here, Uzumaki? Shouldn't you be back home?"
"I...I have no home."
"You have no home? Are you an orphan?"
"Yes."
"So that gaki in the bush is an orphan too?" Naruto nodded. "What are your names?"
"I'm Naruto Uzumaki." he stated. "Well...Naruto, how long have you two been out here?"
"I'm honestly not sure." as Naruto was busy talking up Tobirama, Sasuke was looking from his vantage point, it seemed that the Senju was way nicer than he was back in the war, must've been because they we're children. 'I guess it couldn't hurt to say hi.'
Getting out of the bush he was met by Tobirama's gaze and in all honesty. The man was really terrifying. "H...hi." he decided to use good manners to win this situation. "An Uchiha!" he shouted in surprise. 'How did I not sense his chakra signature?' he thought since he was the best sensory ninja in the whole world!
As if he saw a ghost Tobirama turned even paler than before. "I...Izuna." he called Sasuke, which had Naruto confused. "Who's Izuna?" the blond questioned.
Tobirama couldn't believe it, he remembered killing Izuna. Madara literally reminds him about it every time they meet for godsake. Not that he cared what the Uchiha called him, back then he made the right call, if he didn't take Izuna out he would've took his place.
So then who exactly who is this brat that looked like him. Izuna couldn't have had a child...there was no way. So who is this brat and why does his chakra feel familiar?
'It's as if it's Madara...no it's exactly like his! What the hell!? Why does a brat have Madara's chakra signature? Did he have a son? It would be logical that does explain the kid.' as if to process what he just thought Tobirama turned even paler.
'Madara Uchiha has a child! Bloody hell!' it was unheard of to think Madara of all people had a child. Tobirama had to investigate and he needed answers.
"Gaki! Why do you have Madara's chakra signature!" Tobirama approached Sasuke passing Naruto. Sasuke took a few steps back. "Answer me, gaki!" he sounded really aggressive right now, and Sasuke in response, threw a kick that landed on the white haired man's nose.
"Run, Naruto!"
The boys took off since Tobirama was really freaking them out, being stuck in the past only to be chased by a maniac of a Senju. Any person with a brain would scram.
"Uchiha scum! You'll pay for that!" Tobirama snarled as he chased after the boyxs, with his Hiraishin technique he easily caught up to the boys, making some shadow clones, he had them grab the boys before they we're far away.
"Where do you think you're going, brats?" Tobirama stood in front of them. "Tie them up." he told his clones throwing some rope he took out of a sealing scroll.
The two were tied back-to-back. "Hey, this is too tight!" Naruto whinned. "Well too bad, you're both coming with me." he declared as they both gulped what was the Senju going to do with them?
