"Wow, I've never seen it so clean"Yuki looked around the stables in amazement, the last time she'd been there the stables looked…well like stables. But now the wood which was once an unappealing brown had been newly painted white, and all the horses had tags hanging above their stables which looked especially clean.

"I've been spending a lot of time here"Zero confessed as he followed Yuki into the stables. He had a large amount of free time without the night class, and it was one of the few things that ever seemed to take his mind off Yuki, and how much he had missed her. But none of that mattered to him now, because she'd come back to him.

"Do you want to start riding then?"Yuki asked looking over to White lily who was already eyeing her out from across the stables. She was a proud beautiful horse, but obviously didn't like sharing her master. Zero of course always found this slightly comical

Zero stood there looking around the stables, but he paid close attention to the way Yuki seemed to be smiling at everything she saw, she was even smiling at White lily.

"How about we walk along the path instead, we can ride the horses together another time"Zero didn't wait for her answer since he knew she'd protest. He simply took her hand in his and began to walk away from the stables to the long dirty path through the forest that they had often used on patrols. It wasn't often that anyone used this trail anymore, especially since it had been banded from the day class students so long ago most didn't know it existed.

"But I thought you wanted to ride White lily? I really don't mind"Yuki protested a bit as she let Zero continue to lead her down the path farther away from the stables. The forest was beautiful, green and vibrant as it always had been, the evergreen trees planted here had been perfect for concealing the school from anyone who wasn't already aware of it.

"I've rode her many times since you've been gone, I'd rather just be with you for now Yuki"Zero didn't know why but he had this sinking feeling in his chest that Yuki was hiding something important from him, but he didn't want to push her. He was afraid of what she would say.

Yuki didn't bother to argue with him this time, after all she knew where the path would lead too. There was a small lake hidden within the trees that the Chairmen often showed her, he even once tried to take her fishing there but of course they never caught anything. It didn't take long before they reached the lake, the water shinning as the sun reflected off its surface.

"It's more beautiful then I remember"Yuki stood there in awh of the lake before her, she hadn't remembered it being like this, but then again she'd been away for so long of course it would look different.

"We'll go for a swim"

-Kaname at the main house—

"Kaname with all due respect I don't think you need to go down there"Aido stood there nervously packing Kanames things for him. He had just arrived moments ago to tell Kaname that all had been well at the academy but apparently Kaname didn't think so.

"I'm going there to bring Yuki home, she doesn't belong there with him"Kaname stood there looking out the window that had been boarded up with bricks long ago. He could feel his head pulsing as he attempted to control the rage building up inside him.

'Yuki.. why do you test me like this'Kaname remained standing there as Aido packed his things for him, he didn't even want to think about what Yuki and Zero would be doing, the simple thought of her being near him made him feel physically sick.

"Kaname I hate to bother you while you're so deep in thought.."Ruka stood up from the chair she had been sitting in, she had been very silent since returning back and hearing Kaname was very displeased with their behavior.

"What is it Ruka"Kaname kept his eye closed, not wanting to deal with anything but perhaps Ruka had something important to tell him that Aido had forgotten, after all Aido was very forgetful

"Correct me if I'm wrong my lord Kaname but the council has announced that the purebloods had already conceived a child, I don't understand what you could be so concerned about"Ruka had been slightly confused by this after Kaname sent them away to watch her, after all what could possibly happen? Even if she did find her feelings for Zero were strong she would never leave Kaname, and once Zero knew she was pregnant he would try to force them apart.

The room was silent as Kaname took in a breath, as if he actually needed to breath for a moment

"Yuki and I haven't shared ourselves in that way yet, the council is expecting a child from us and announced it to add on pressure"Kaname placed his hand against the wall, feeling as he he'd simply push through it to let out some frustration

"I greatly miscalculated how dangerous he is"

-Nearly 9pm at the lake—

It had gotten late already by the time Zero awoke from his slumber. After he and Yuki had swam around for bit they'd walked up onto the tall grass and laid down for a nap in the warm sun. But now night had fallen and they would need to return to the academy soon.

"Yuki..Yuki wake up"Zero gently shook her. She been sleeping peacefully next to him, her smooth skin seemed cold as he looked down at her, but however she was a vampire so she wasn't exactly prone to getting sick anymore.

Zero continued to gently nudge Yuki as he looked around for their undergarments. They had left their clothing on the side and decided to simply swim in their underwear since getting swim suits would have taken too long. Not that either of them really seemed to mind, they swam together like children and now were laying in their dry clothing, while their undergarments hung on a branch above. Yuki of course didn't really like the idea of Zero seeing her underwear, but as he pointed out. He used to do her laundry all the time when she had been living there.

"Zero..Zero what time is it!?"Yuki sat up quickly as she realized the sky was already dark. Kaname would have already called by now and no doubt would be extremely angry that she hadn't answered. He already seemed upset but how much fun she'd been having with Zero, but then again, how could she not have fun.

"It looks like it's around 9 or 10 at night, see the moons reflection"Zero pointed out as he looked over at the lake. The moons reflection shined brightly in it, lighting up the area around them so darkness wasn't really an issue.

'I suppose Kaname wouldn't be any more angry then he already is'Yuki thought as she sat there with Zero. She held his hand cover hers as they looked out into the water.

"Yuki"Zero turned to look at her, his eyes gently going over her features. He loved the way her face always seemed to warm his heart, his eyes traveled down to her neck, where he had taken blood from her numerous times, but as he eyes dropped lower he began to regret his choice to take her swimming. Although her clothes were covering, he could help but think about how there would be nothing under her shirt now, and nothing under her skirt. It'd be so easy for him to have her now, but would she reject him? Let alone did he really want to do something like that here? He had always thought Yuki deserved the best, and making love in a grassy field didn't seem to be her cup of tea

"Yes?"Yuki answered back as she looked over to him, she noticed how he was looking at her, and the way his hand gently tightened around hers.

"May I kiss you Yuki"Zero wasn't normally one to ask, after all he hadn't really been asking but right now he felt he had too. The way he was feeling right now made him nervous. He could feel his heart racing, and his nerves were on edge, he wanted her but he didn't want to have her or do anything without her consent. After all, he was in love with her.

'This is going to be the last time isn't it?'Yuki thought as she remembered how Kaname said he would be there in the morning to take her home, most likely for the next 5 or 10 years since he most likely would never let her see Zero again. Not that she would fight him, she knew that was a fight she would never be able to win, he'd reason her down, or lock her up, but not like a prisoner, he'd lock her up in their beautiful home with maids to serve her every need just as he had done this past year.

"Zero…even if it' just for tonight, can we pretended that Kaname doesn't exist and that I'm yours"Yukis words although soft, might as well have been a scream since Zero hear every word she said perfectly clear. He pulled her closer to him and laid her down on the grass. His hand brushed against her cheek as he looked down at her. Zero bent down to kiss her and gently whispered against her lips.

"Then you'll be mine tonight"
