I've decided to update more quickly than normal.

'This isn't good! Where are they!?'The Chairman stood on the doorstep pacing back and forth thinking of what to do. It was nearly 5am and Kaname would be here soon to retrieve Yuki. He had woken up to Kanames phone call 20 minutes ago and had gone to get Yuki ready but she wasn't in her room, and after rushing to Zero for help he noticed Zero was also missing. This lead he here, pacing on the porch like a mad man while his daughter and son, were missing!

"Father what are you doing out here so early?"Yuki and Zero came up from the side of the house, their fingers laced together and Yukis beautiful hair messy with leafs. It didn't take a genius to guess what those two had been up to but the Chair man had no time to go and yell at Yuki right now.

"Kaname is on his way Yuki! Hurry and go get ready, Zero you stay here we need to talk"The Chairman reached out and grabbed Yukis arm trying to pull her into the house, not that he really could since Yuki was stronger now. He couldn't even push her down if she didn't want to. So when Yuki remained standing there holding Zeros hand the Chairman didn't know what to do

"I'm not going back with him, I want to stay here with you and Zero"Yuki moved to curl her arms around Zero, she wasn't scared right now. But she knew when Kaname got her and she told him, she'd be terrified. She just hoped the Chairman would back her up and let her stay, since Zero wouldn't be able to fight Kaname if he did plan to fight

"Yuki sweetheart I'd love for you to stay but... I also don't want anything bad to happen to you"The Chairman placed his hand on Yuki shoulder, his face softened and that fatherly look which said 'I know what's best' covered his face. But it was a bit too late as Aido car came quickly into the distance.

"He's here"Zero felt Yukis fingers grip his arm tightly, holding onto him. Afraid she'd never be able to see him again after this, and that was a perfectly rational free at this point. When Aido stepped out and moved to open the door for Kaname, he was already moving towards them. His eyes redder then crimson, you could almost feel the rage coming off him as his eyes fell upon Yuki and Zero.

"Yuki, it's time to come home"Kaname took a breath, and extended his hand for Yuki to grab. His eyes piercing into her, making her shake with fear. She'd never seen him so upset, he was only scowling slightly but the look in his eyes said it all.

Aido stayed close behind him, unsure of what to do next. He'd never seen Kaname so upset before. He looked over at the chairman to help, but he was too concentrated on watching Kanames next move

"N-No"Yuki whispered softly, she closed her eyes and tightened her grip around Zeros arm. She could feel her legs shaking, she knew he was staring her down. How could she do this to him? He had done so much for her.. and yet she was here holding Zero. Why was she risking everything? She was putting hers and Zeros lives in danger here, not that she couldn't take Kaname if she had too… maybe, she'd never really fought anyone like him before. Wait since when was she going to fight him?! All of this was so confusing but when Zero wrapped his arm around her, she felt herself relax

"She's staying here Kuran, she wants to stay with me"Zeros voice didn't change, it was firm and sure. He wasn't afraid of Kaname, he'd sooner die then give Yuki away to him again. But Kanames eyes didn't move to Zero, he didn't even acknowledge his existence.

"Yuki we are going home now, take my hand and let go of that disgrace for a vampire"Kanames words were sharp, his composed shifted a bit as his voice grew harsher. She had never heard him speak so roughly, it made her flinch.

"Kaname perhaps we can talk about this inside? Yuki just got home and needs to get ready first"The Chairman tried to intervene now, he didn't want Yuki to get hurt. Even if she was a pure blooded vampire she was still his daughter! And right now she was terrified of her husband, he wouldn't let him take her right now. Kaname lowered his hand and his gaze shifted between the chairman and Yuki who still clung to Zero

"Is that why you smell like filth?"It was so fast that a normal human wouldn't have caught it as Kaname stood now just inches away from them. His eyes narrowed as he looked down at Yuki. Her eyes closed as she gripped Zero pulled her closer. His eyes meeting Kanames, daring him to make a move.

"Disgusting"

It wasn't even a second before Zero found himself thrown against a tree 15 feet away from Yuki, but Kaname hadn't even moved. He stood there unmoving with only his open hand extended towards Zero.

"ZERO!"She hadn't even felt Zero being pulled from her but now he was struggling to stand up against the tree. She moved to go to him but she then felt the Chairmans hand on her shoulder again and Aido appeared next to Kanames side trying to sooth his temper.

"Kaname please don't waste your efforts on him, Yuki come on lets go"Aido wasn't exactly fond of Zero, but he knew that Yuki wouldn't forgive Kaname for harming him and that would lead to a very emotionally destroyed Kaname. He was the "king" of the pureblood, and needed to have his mind at peace to control his powers, which he did about 99% of the time. The only 1% came when Yuki upset him, she always crawled under his skin since she was the closest to his heart.

"No, I'm not leaving! Kaname please let me stay here!"Yuki pleded as she stood there before him, her brown colored eyes glossed over with tears as she looked at him. He seemed so cold and distant now, but she could tell he had heard her pleads. He looked over at Zero who had managed to stand and was glaring at Kaname, a fierce look in his eyes.

"You know my answer Yuki"Kaname raised his hand and if sound of bones breaking was unmistakable. Yuki had only heard it once before during her battle before he left with Kaname, before she said good bye to Zero.

Zero was proud, too proud to scream in pain as he felt a sudden pressure which broke his ribs, he fell to his knees once again and heard Yuki pleading for Kaname to stop. He could hear the pain in her voice

'Useless..why can't I fight'Zero struggled, he got back onto his feet. His ribs broken and his body desperately trying to heal quickly. But all this quick healing was using his strength, it was making him hungry.

"Kaname you have to stop this, I can't allow you to hurt Zero anymore! He has done no harm to you and is my child!"The Chairman moved to block Kanames way, hoping to prevent further damage. He wasn't sure how much more Zero would be able to take before he needed to feed.

"What do you want me to break next my love, his neck or his spine"Kaname eyes never left Yukis, she was pushing the tears out of her eyes. Sobbing, she had never wanted any of this to happen. Her steps were slow, even for human standards as she moved forward and placed her hand on Kanames chest.

"I'm sorry Kaname.. please I want to come home"Yuki gripped the front of his shirt, the smooth fabric she normally loved to feel felt like daggers on her skin. She felt his arms wrap around her, pulling her into a welcoming hug. She glanced over at Aido, a sympatric look in his eyes and then at the chairman who had gone to Zeros aid.

"I'm glad you've come to your senses Yuki, come we have any things to discuss"He lead to the car as Aido held the door open. Yuki brushed the leaves out of her hair and patted down her pants, trying to touch Kaname as little as possible.

"Yuki! Ah..Yuki!"She heard Zero scream her name as Aido closed the door, but she couldn't look up. To see his face, the face of the man she loved. The man she had always loved, in pain, desperate, needing her. She could only look down at her hands, remembering the warmth of his.

The ride was silent, a gift box placed between Kaname and Yuki. Aido driving silently, not even bothering to tell Yuki stories about the time she was gone. Or ask if she'd kept up with her studies.

It was just silent and Yuki knew her fate
