Bella's POV
Our family watched as several vampires came out from behind the forest. Despite how much I was dreading the impending events, I took some time to take into account of their appearance. They were all absolutely breathtaking, as all vampires are, but still. There were three males and the two on the left were obviously together judging by their body language...they were practically glued together. There was also a girl their, with long black hair, staring at Rosalie with a look of lust in her eyes. I heard Edward snort and gave him a questioning glance. He rolled his eyes and said, "Lust is putting nicely."
Oh. Well then...that's, not a good image...gross. Okay Bella, get it together!
By the time I had gotten those thoughts out of my head, the vampires were a few feet from us, drawing nearer. One of the guys of the couple seemed to be the leader as he stepped forward and said, "Hello. My name is Lucas Allen, and this is my clan." His partner stepped forward and wrapped an arm around Lucas and introduced himself as Marcus Ward and told us that the other guy was his younger brother Charles. The girl snapped out of her Rose induced haze and told us that her name was Anna Wilson. She then continued to make her way over towards Rosalie, which reminded me of the situation that was about to occur.
I decided that it'd be best for me to watch my husband get hit on from afar so I dashed over to Renesemee and walked over towards Alice and Jasper who seemed to be having the time of their life, watching what I'm sure is a cringe worthy conversation between Edward and Charles. I watched as Charles put his hand on Edwards forearm as they engaged in conversation.
I suddenly felt very amused and couldn't help the laughter that bubbled out of me. "Jasper," I wheezed out, "you can't do this right now! I'm supposed to be paying attention!" Immediately the laughing fit stopped, and I straightened myself out before turning to Alice, intending to ask her a question when a shout got my attention. "Wow. Okay, my wife is getting hit on on our wedding day. That's not awkward at all!" I watched as all the guests turned toward Emmett who was laughing nervously, which was a first. I turned to where Rose was standing with Anna. She hand her hands on her hips and a sparkle in her eyes, most likely basking in the attention.
"Oh God" Alice moaned. She must've noticed the confusion on my face because she started explaining the Rose was enjoying the compliments enough for Emmett to cause a scene with his jealousy. I made a split decision and walked briskly towards Rose and yanked her towards Emmett. Alice had most likely seen my plan, as she walked towards the DJ, and yanked the mike away from him before she announced, "It's time for the newlyweds to have their first dance together! Everyone clear the dance floor! You can join in later!"
Woohoo! Disaster averted!
I heard a chuckle and turned to find Edward behind me, eyes twinkling.
"Wait, where's Charles? I thought he was trying to get in your pants?" Edward shook his head and slowly pointed towards the dance floor where I spotted Charlie and Max taking animatedly to each other. "You are so smart!" I exclaimed before launching myself into his arms. We began dancing, right where we were, swaying gently to the music. I laid my head on his chest, relaxing and listening to his breathing before a question popped into my mind. "Edward," I said as I lifted me head up. "Hmm?" He responded, still swaying even though I stopped.
"Won't Charles have to turn Max? If they are soul mates, which they seem to be, will he be forced to turn him?" He seemed to contemplate this for a while before saying, "When he does, which he will because Alice saw it as soon as Charles looked at Max, we will help them do it right. After all, we did alright with changing you."
I relaxed back into his embrace, feeling perfectly content to dance the night away when I felt a tug on my dress. I look down to find my beautiful daughter and quickly swooped her up and into my arms. "Can I dance too?" She asked, eyes twinkling. "Of course, love" Edward answered. So Edwards and I resumed our dancing once again, only this time we had Renesmee between us. And then all three of us danced the night away.
I FINALLY UPDATED GUYS! Please don't kill me. I'm so sorry the wait was so long, I just lost the motivation to write this story and today I kinda got it back?
