After that disaster, I decided to go back to my rule of never accepting gifts.

Ever.

And what made it even worse is that Alice had said I would be grateful eventually...honestly where do you even buy blood flavored body paint? Do you just casually walk up to the cashier and say, "No man, this isn't for me, it's for my sister."

God, how embarrassing!

Anyway, it was time for us to go to school, so Emmett and Rosalie hopped into her car while to the rest of got into Edward's car. Alice and Edward had a debate on who would drive said car, but ultimately Edward won as it was his car. Alice huffed and then got into the back set next to Jasper before slamming the door behind her.

And with that, we were off.

Halfway to school, Edward swerved on the road, which never happens. Concerned, I looked over to Alice in the back seat to find her having a vision and could feel Jasper emitting a wave of panic. She snapped out of it with wide eyes as Edward got back on the road and continued our drive to school.

Why was everyone acting as if nothing had happened?

"Alice?" I got no response.

"Edward?" Radio silence.

I turned back to face the road as I went over possible visions that she could have had that would cause such a bad reaction.

The Volturi?

Or maybe it was about Charles and Max?

Is it possible that someone could slip up today and kill a human?

Could it be me?

I was beginning to get incredibly frustrated and just wanted someone to tell me what was going to happen when we pulled into school, everyone shot out of the car and ran off to their classes before I could get a word in.

Throughout our classes, my family was either surrounded by students or constantly asking the teacher for help.

Both meant that I couldn't ask what was going on.

Okay then, I thought to myself, I will just have to figure this out myself I guess.

It was now our lunch period and I walked over to our regular table to find Alice and Edward huddled together while Jasper was talking hurriedly to someone on the phone in a hushed voice.

They were all so quiet that even with my vampire hearing all I could hear was their breathing.

I marched up to the table and slammed all of my books down, watching their faces become neutral. I was preparing to rant and weasel the vision out of them, but before I could get a word out, Edward turned to me and said,

"Bella, Charlie is getting married."

A/N 2 updates in one day? CRAZY!
