We spent the drive to the house chatting with Morgan, and I discovered three things.

1. She is the incarnate of a Beverly Hills House Wife

2. She has no idea what the concept of personal space is.

3. She doesn't seem to like my husband very much.

I was baffled and couldn't figure why this woman was hating in Edward of all people. I mean normally I'm irritated at woman for liking him a little too much, but she's basically shunning him in the car.

Several times I have attempted to bring Edward into a conversation, but every time he would begin to talk, she'd turn to Charlie and change the topic.

I was relieved when we pulled into the driveway, ready to escape the tension that Morgan had created.

I unbuckled and quickly existed the car, Edward right behind me. His arm wrapped around my shoulder and pulled me to him, allowing me to clear my thoughts for a moment.

I heard someone clear their throat and noticed Morgan staring at Edward with distaste. I huffed user my breath before putting on a fake smile while Edward got our bags. Morgan chatted while we walked up to me old room, which was the same as I left it.

"I'll let you two get settled, then." Morgan said as she closed the door. I sighed and was thankful to drop my happy go lucky act and turned to Edward, frustrated as ever.

"What is wrong with that woman!" I grumbled. Edward laughed and pulled me down into the bed with him. I rested my head on his neck and laced our fingers together, waiting for the explanation.

"Well, she has a bit of a plan." He stated, rolling his eyes.

I raised and eyebrow, silently telling him to continue.

"She doesn't like having to share Charlie with you, so she's taken everything he's told her about you and she's going to use it against you."

"How? All she's done is treat you like a virus!" I exclaimed.

"That's the point," he said as he hesitated, "she knows that you hated how Charlie was against me, so she's trying to bring back his distaste for me. Morgan plans on showing her blatant distaste every chance she gets, hoping that Charlie will eventually feel the same. Which will cause you to become distant from him due to your arguments."

Wow. She's viscous.

"Well that's not gonna happen," I said determinedly. "You, Charlie, Carlisle, and Emmett and Jasper are the most important men in my life and I won't loose any of you." I stated.

Edward gave an affirmative nod before getting up and unpacking our bags. I watched him from my comfortable place on the bed, admiring his physique. Just as I was about to get up, I heard little footsteps approaching the door, and thought better or moving, lest she use it against us.

Without knocking, Morgan barged in, looking vaguely disappointed not to have caught us in a compromising position. "Dinner is ready!" She said shortly, and quickly scrambled downstairs.

I stood up and took Edward's hand in mine before joining them at the a perfect gentleman, Edward pulled my chair out for me and I smirked at Morgan's disbelief, which she quickly covered up with a fake smile.

"I've cooked some fish, since that's all Charlie does these days," she said, albeit grumpily. I smiled.

"Really? I should share some of my old recipes. Living with Charlie really helped me expand my cooking abilities! I could write them down for you later," I offered. My dad looked at me and said, "Could you Bells? I've really missed your cooking, and Morgan just doesn't seem to have the hang of it yet."

Edward squeezed my hand under the table and I knew he was trying not to laugh at Morgan's wounded expression. "Of course dad!"

We resumed eating our dinner, Edward and I alternating between throwing the food into a napkin and forcing ourselves to eat.

Once the humans had finished and were full, we resigned to our rooms after biding each other goodnight.

Today had been a long day, and I could only hope that the rest of our stay wouldn't be the same.
