The void, Time Lords and saving people.

Chapter seventeen:

Disclaimer sadly

A/N my apologies fellow whoviens and fanfictioners, I have had a serious case of pudding brain over the last couple of weeks and have had no motivation to write, and i am also really sick of writing this episode.

Sorry again, hope you enjoy.

Once the Doctor, Jenny, Donna, Agatha and Greeves made it out of the dining room madness, the Time Lord grabbed a sword down off the wall.

"Not you, Agatha. You've got a long, long life to live yet," said moving in front of the group.

"Well, we know the butler didn't do it," Donna told the Doctor.

"Yeah, but who did then?" Jenny asked.

"Well have to fine out" her dad answered just before he ran back in to the dining hall, sword raised, ready to fight.

Thought he ended up lowering it as soon as he entered the room when he saw that the wasp was gone.

"My jewelry. The Firestone, it's gone. Stolen," Lady Edison said in a horrified tone, her hand where the item once hung around her neck.

Just as that was revealed, Miss Redmond shrieked, getting everyone's attention. The Doctor looked over to where she was staring at 'Rosaline' lying on the ground unconscious with blood on her hands.

The Time Lord quickly moved to her side, kneeling down, he pried her hands off the wound so he could see what had happened and cursed when he saw the round wound in her leg.

"Doctor, what happened? What do we do?" Donna asked rapid fire, panicking.

"She's been stung, we need to get her back to the TARDIS, Jenny, I'll need your help, Donna, stay here," and before any arguments could be made by said ginger, the Doctor scooped up the bleeding woman and ran out of the dining room, his daughter following closely.

Once the the three of them made it out of the large house and into the Doctor's TARDIS, they headed straight for the on board med bay and got to work. Jenny looked for the Vespiform anti venom as the had Doctor ordered after the results came back from the automatic scan the TARDIS did while he worked to stop the bleeding from her leg wound.

"Got it," the young Time Lady announced, bringing over the small rubber topped jar of clear liquid from the Silfrax galaxy as well as a syringe for it.

"Brilliant" The Doctor said quickly before he grabbed the jar off his daughter.

The Doctor had stopped the flow of blood and had cleaned the wound as much as possible without restarting the bleeding before he closed it up with a soft tissue repairer, leaving only a faint line in it's place. Once that was done, he drew a small amount of the anti venom into the syringe and injected it near were the wound once was.

"She'll be alright, right dad?" Jenny asked nervously.

"Oh yes, Vespiform venom isn't permanently fatal to Time Lords and Ladies unlike the poison of the Judas tree, it doesn't disable regeneration, just causes extreme pain and in some rare cases, regeneration, depends on there size, the anti venom was just for insurance," he explained to his daughter.

"What about humans if their stung?" Jenny asked.

"Oh deadly, fifteen minuets and kaput, that's why I," he held up the jar, giving it a bit of a shake, "have this at all."

The Doctor got a sad faraway look oh his face that was gone as soon as it was there.

"Right, Jenny, I need you to stay here and keep a eye on her when she wakes up," he said as he stashed the jar and a spare caped syringe in his pocket.

"But-" Jenny started but was quickly cut off by her dad.

"Stay" he said pointing to the ground before walking out of the med bay.

As the young Time Lady glared at her dad's back she mutter a quiet "woof woof" before grabbing a chair and sitting beside the unconscious older Time Lady.
