The void, Time Lords and saving people.

Chapter nineteen:

I'm sorry, don't eat me, *hides in a Dalek*

Disclaimer sadly

Rose blinked slowly as she tried to figure out why, what felt like a toilet paper roll, had hit her in the head as she had opened her TARDIS doors. Also, why were Donna and Jenny looking extremely confused and the Doctor looking horrified at what was behind her.

Still moving slowly, Rose turned around and saw the disaster zone that had once been her console room.

The console was broken in several places, bits were missing from it and scattered over the ground, which was cracked in several and some of the glass panels were completely missing. The walls and parts of the remaining ground were covered in mush of varying shades of brown and green, unraveled toilet paper was stuck in said mush in several places and rapped around the time rotor, covering it completely. Right in the middle of the giant mess was four of the most guilty looking Cyberleks.

Nurse and Slinger were on the ground trying to strangle each other, for no reason really, Clara was holding the other end of the toilet roll that had hit Rose in the back of the head and Brainy was crouched on the ground in front of her, obviously just missed being hit by the roll.

Taking a deep breath, Rose silently stepped in to her TARDIS and closed the doors.

As the door way in the middle of nothing closed, leaving the time traveling trio in in moon lit darkness. a minute later, the Doctor's brain finally clicked back in to gear and he started breathing and blinking normally again. He then realised that his two companions were trying to talk to him.

"Doctor, Doctor!" Donna yelled at him.

"Hm?" He said dumbly.

To which Donna sighed in annoyance and repeated what she was saying before.

"Doctor, what were those things?"

"Cyber men, they were cyber men but... I have never seen them like that, what is she even doing with them?" He wondered out loud just as the faint familiar sounds of a TARDIS could be heard.

A black version of the Doctor's police box phased in to existence where the doors had been open just before. The right door opened and 'Rosaline' stood there with a strained smile on her face.

"Sorry about that, just ummmm..." She trailed off, mouth open slightly, trying to find the right words before she sighed and silently beckoned them in side the now fixed and clean console room, her self turning around and walking in side.

The three time travelers looked at each other before the Doctor lifted the still unconscious writer up and all three entered the darker TARDIS.

When the doors of her TARDIS closed behind her, Rose took a deep breath and clenched her jaw painfully in an effort not to start yelling instantly. When she felt calm enough not to remove limbs, the time lady walked up to the console and started putting in the time space coordinates for where she had just been.

"Get out" Rose said at a normal level to no one in particular, still working at the console.

The sound of two metal bodies getting up and three pares of metal feet filled the silence until they disappeared down one of the corridors. Rose caught the reflection of her last Cyberlek in the monitor on the console and frowned and turned around to face Nurse.

"I thought I told you to leave," Rose said quietly, feeling slightly calmer than before.

"I know but, the creature that we found, the testing if finished it's from Gal-"

"Stop" Rose interrupted the Cyberlek, raising her hand, "not at the moment, tell me later I just want you to leave."

"Yes Mistress," Nurse said before turning and leaving.

Rose sighed and turned back to the console, she fiddled with the controls till it was set to fix and clean the console room and she walked out into the corridor. The doorway disappear for a moment and reappeared to show the console room as it should be.

Rose moved back to the console and finished setting the coordinates and puled the leaver to set her TARDIS to appear at the coordinates. When the TARDIS landed she moved to the door and opened it to the time traveling trio and unconscious mystery writer. After falling to speak and they were in her ship Rose gestured over to the console chair.

"Put her over there, I will take her home."

The Time Lord complied and placed the writer on the chair, making sure she wouldn't fall off, and walked over to Rose as she piloted her TARDIS back to the manor and the Doctor's ship. When her ship landed, Jenny a and Donna quickly left as the silence became suffocating when Rose looked up to see the Doctor leaning against the console, he was staring intensely at her when she lolled eyes with him.

A minute passed as they stared at each other before the Doctor broke it.

"Who are you?"

Love? Hate? *hides*
