"Ok, let's go to Cinnabon. I'm craving a cinnamon roll." Lily told Christine as they walked into the mall. The girls planned to buy Christine's shoes and dress for the Winter Formal, which was only a week away.

They reached Cinnabon, bought their food, and sat down at a table. "So does this satisfy your pregnancy craving?" Christine asked.

"Oh, totally. I've never been into cinnamon rolls. I can't believe I'm already 2 and a half months! Only 6 and a half more! I can't wait to be a mom."

"What's it like? Can you feel the baby inside of you?" Christine asks, curious.

"No, not really. I just feel different. Morning sickness sucks, but your brother is the best husband ever. He always comforts me and tells me it's gonna be ok, that he's sorry that I'm the one that has to go though it."

"I don't really picture my brother as a romantic type."

"Yea, but that's because he's your brother. I feel bad for your mom though, because I'm sure your dad was just as over protective as Parker is. It's like, I'm still able to do everything! He asks as if I'm suddenly disabled."

"Yea, but that's because he cares. I think that's pretty romantic. He's looking out for you and the baby. We all are, so you better get used to overprotectiveness."

"Oh you better not get like that too, Chrissy." Lily glares at her.

"I won't be that bad, but I'm not gonna let you do to much work. Now, let's go find my perfect dress!" Christine squeals.

"No, that makes you look 40." Lily says, dismissing the 13th dress from the options. "Try this one on." She says, handing her an electric blue strapless.

"Ok, but mark my words, this dress will do absolutely nothing for my skin color." Christine warns, already knowing that vibrate colors were terrible with her pale skin.

Once she changed and walked out, Lily shook her head. "Ok you were right, it looks bad." She looked through a couple of racks. She spotted one and immediately knew it was the one. "This one! This is it!"

Christine took the dress and admired it. She changed into it and loved how it fit her body. It was short, but not too short (although Booth would still argue), and the dark maroon was elegant and sophisticated. The bottom didn't flare out in a weird, tent-like way, but in a nice flowy fashion. Since it was strapless, it showed of her long arms.

She walked out of the changing room, where Lily was dumbfounded. It was perfect. "Ok this is the one. And I'll curl your hair so it goes down, slightly matching the bottom. Michael is gonna be amazed."

"I love it. It's so pretty and it's actually pretty comfortable."

"Ok take it off, and I'll go pay. Then we'll go get the shoes." Lily said.

They paid for the dress and went to another store for some shoes. It was the same process as with the dress. They discarded multiple, until they found perfect, black strappy heels.

"Those will look amazing with your dress it'll accent the jewels perfectly." Lily said, quickly whisking them off to the cash register.

Once they left (stopping for a quick drink at Starbucks), they headed home. "That was a pretty productive day." Christine said in the car.

"I agree. I would be surprised if Michael doesn't faint when he sees you."

Meanwhile, at the Hodgins household, Booth and Brennan went to drop something off. Brennan and Angela talked for a while, giving Booth the chance to have a chat with his daughters boyfriend.

"So, Michael. You know that I'm very protective of Christine." Booth cut straight to the chase.

"Yea. I know, and I promise, I will do everything I can to make her happy." Michael knew where this was going, so he just went there.

"I know you will. Which is why I am letting her date you. If you were any other guy, I wouldn't. I wanna threaten you, scare you. But you're family. You've known her since she was born. I know you'll treat her well. And I also know you really like her. She really likes you too."

"I love her." Michael said and paused. "Thank you for having faith in me. I won't let you down. Christine's lucky to have such a great dad, looking out for her."

.

.

.

"So what did you talk to Booth about?" Hodgins asked his son. He had seen them talk, seriousness on both faces.

"About Christine. He didn't actually threaten me. Said he wanted to, but couldn't 'cause I was family."

"Hm. I thought he'd try to threaten you anyways." After a small silence he continued. "You really like her don't you."

"Dad, I love her. And, I'm gonna be totally honest with you, I wanna marry her someday. She's the most amazing person. I'm enchanted by everything about her."

Michael admitted.

Hodgins was slightly stunned. He knew Michael was in love with her, but he hadn't realized just how deep the love was.

"I probably sound crazy, but she makes me crazy. I'm crazy in love with her." He paused. "Is this how you felt about mom?"

Hodgins thought back to those times, before he was even dating Angela. "Yep. She made me crazy. I never wanted to be with another girl, from the second I met her."

"You just can't stop thinking about her, and when doing things you love, you think about how it would be so much better if she were doing it with you." Michael said. Now both Hodgins where in trance, thinking about their beautiful women.

"What are you boys doing?" Angela said when walking in.

"Nothing you need to know about yet." Hodgins said to her. Then he turned to his son and said "good talk." And left.
