Author's Note: Hello everyone. Here's the latest update. I was going to do something different with this chapter, but I decided to wrap it up here and let everything play out in future chapters. My writing mind sometimes has a mind of its own, and does things I didn't intend on doing.

I poked fun at the crap they did on Twisted in 1B because that mess was truly an abomination. You'll see. And that's why I would donate some eggs or something to make sure that crap gets cancelled. I don't ever want it on my tv again, unless they fire the writers and hire new ones. I know some want them to hire me but I know they won't because the first thing I would do is kill their Golden Girl. She in now nameless to me. I even poked fun at this story. LOL.

I DO NOT own the lyrics to "My Petition" by Jill Scott or the lyrics to "Dreamin'" by Vanessa Williams. They were used for entertainment purposes only. I know some are wondering why I do that, but I'm a singer and music lover.

I hope you all enjoy this latest update. Reviews are hugs! :)

Lacey was furious when she returned to her bedroom. She had never been that mad at Clara in her life. She couldn't believe she was siding with Danny. Clara had always been her best friend, confidant, and partner in crime. They were inseparable since Clara was born. At only three years younger than Lacey, they had an unbreakable bond. Lacey thought Clara was her doll baby when Judy and Samuel brought her home from the hospital. From that point on, they were joined at the hip. Judy loved how close her girls were. They hardly ever fought, and when they did, it was resolved immediately. Judy never had to intervene in their minor spats and disagreements.

Lacey was relieved that Judy wasn't involved in this feud, because she would intervene. Lacey was now at the point where she didn't want to even talk to Clara. Which is essentially unheard of considering how close they are and how often they talk and/or text. Even during her blossoming relationship with Danny, Lacey still made time for Clara. She may have neglected her other friends, but she always had room in her life for Clara.

Lacey laid across her bed and wished she could stop the thinking. It became maddening. She wanted to put that nonsense concerning Danny and his wife out of her mind so that she could move on with her life. She did not want to dwell on her failed relationship with her lying ex boyfriend. An ex she cared a great deal about, but still an ex. He had to be her ex from keeping that huge secret from her. Lacey thinks about what it would have meant had he told her the truth from the beginning. Would she still have gotten involved with him had he told her he was married? That answer is no. She would not have, no matter how long he claims they were apart. He was still technically, legally and morally married to her. She probably wouldn't have given Danny a second thought, no matter how attracted she was to him.

She still couldn't get over the fact that he was married. She never pegged him as the married type. Had he not told her himself, she would not have believed it. Plus the fact that he got married so young. Totally out of the ordinary and had she bet on it, she would have lost money. Lacey thinks that Danny must have really been different in his younger years. Before his 'fake marriage'. He must have become that cocky monster he was during and after that.

Lacey sighed in frustration. She was tired of thinking about Danny. She needed a distraction. She got out of her bed and went into her bathroom. She needed a relaxing shower and then she would get out of the house. Sulking like a hermit really isn't her thing. She had no idea where she was going, she just knew that she needed to get out of the house. Even though she had to do that activity by herself, it would be a huge distraction from the turmoil going on in her life at the moment. She had to let it and Danny go for her own sake. She knew it had just been a day, and she would need a little longer than that to get over Danny. The sooner she did that, the better.

She came out of her shower and went into her closet to find herself something to wear. She threw on skinny jeans, a white tee and a black blazer. She set it off with a pair of red pumps. Cute, but nothing spectacular. She hoped she didn't attract any male attention. She was sick of the male species for the time being. She hoped that none of them would bother her like they had the tendency to do at times. She was greatly relieved for the time she was with Danny. Being out with him in public cut down on men practically harassing her for a date. They still managed to sneak in a few glances, and some just full on stared. The same was true about Danny. Women would do double takes sometimes when they saw him, especially if he had his hair out.

She finished up in her bathroom by fixing her hair into an easy up do. She put on a light shimmering lip gloss because she thought it was too early in the evening for red lipstick. Besides, red lipstick drew attention to her full lips and she wasn't in the mood for that kind of attention. She switched to her red purse and went downstairs and was shocked to see Clara still sitting on her sofa.

"What are you still doing here?" Lacey asks as she descends down the rest of the stairs. She really didn't feel like talking to Clara anymore. As far as Lacey was concerned, her sister was a traitor and now an enemy.

"I didn't like the way you just stormed off and tried to put me out. What's up with that?" Clara questions as she eyes her big sister suspiciously wondering where she's going.

Lacey frowns before she folds her arms across her chest. "Well, I didn't like the way you sided with the enemy." Lacey counters as she begins to eye Clara suspiciously as well.

"I didn't side with the enemy. I just wanted you to really change your perception and see things more clearly." Clara says.

Lacey frowns again. Then she sighs out of frustration. "I see things perfectly clear. My boyfriend is married and didn't tell me. Well, he's an ex now. Then you have the nerve to tell me I'm overreacting. I don't think I am, but even if I was, I think that I'm entitled to that. I'm sorry if you don't agree." Lacey answers almost smartly.

Clara lets out her own sigh of frustration. "I get it Lacey. I really do. You should be hurt that he didn't tell you he was married. Any woman in your situation would be. But again, like I said, he's not even with her. It's not like he was living with her and then keeping you on the side. He hasn't seen her since he was 19, Lacey. At this point, I really don't think he's lying to you. Maybe once you've calmed down, you can really listen to reason and repair your relationship." Clara says as she tries to give Lacey a smile as a peace-offering.

Lacey isn't biting. Clara's little speech does nothing for Lacey. She continues to look at her little sister and wishes she would shut up and get out of her house. She feels about Clara the same way she feels about Danny and that isn't a good thing. "Clara, we don't have a relationship. I don't want anything else to do with Danny. But since you're so adamant about forgiving him and giving him a second chance, help yourself. He's single now. I'm sorry, he's married but pretending that he's not." Lacey says as she unfolds her arms and adjust her purse.

Clara cuts her eyes at Lacey. She looks at her strangely and wonders what has gotten into Lacey to make her so hostile. Clara understands that she's hurt, but she's being totally irrational and ridiculous. "What the hell, Lacey. Why are you being this cold, especially towards me? I haven't done a damn thing to you, yet you're treating me like I betrayed you or something. I can't even believe that you would even suggest that mess about Danny to me. Any guy that you have been with is off-limits to me. I'm deeply insulted and appalled by that. I would never do that to you and you know that. I know you're hurt, but don't take that shit out on me." Clara says as she tries to calm her nerves.

Lacey now feels bad, though she's still upset with Clara for siding with the enemy. "Ok, I'm sorry. I went too far. I know that betrayal isn't a trait that you have. I appreciate you trying to look out for me, but you don't have to. Danny and I are done and that's the end of it. Leave it alone, Sister." Lacey says harshly as she stares at Clara to silently let her know that she means what she says.

"Fine." Clara starts, "I'll leave it alone. Where are you going?" Clara wonders though she knows it's none of her business.

"Just out. I need a distraction." Lacey answers as she walks over to get her keys to leave. She also does that as a signal to Clara that she's done talking.

"Ok, Sister. I can take a hint. I'm assuming you don't want company." Clara states as she walks over to the door as well.

"It's not that I don't want company, I just need to be alone. It's nothing personal." Lacey says as she tries to force herself to smile to show Clara she's being genuine.

"It's fine. I can tell you're still upset with me. I wasn't trying to side with the enemy. I won't say any more though. I'm sorry if I stepped on your toes." Clara replies and tries to give Lacey a hug. She felt Lacey stiffen as she lightly wrapped her arms around her. It almost brought Clara to tears that Lacey felt that way. Clara hated that her sister was that hurt, and it showed. To the untrained eye, Lacey was fine. But Clara knew better. She knows that Lacey has a habit of masking her pain. She had now built a brick wall around herself. Clara didn't like that at all because she was on the receiving end of it this time. She still stands by thinking Lacey should give Danny another chance, she just wishes she had kept that to herself.

Lacey broke away from the hug first. Clara was met with a huge smile from Lacey. Her fake smile. The one that only Clara picked up on. She looked radiant and as beautiful as she always looks, but her eyes told a different story. Clara decided to not mention it for fear of making it worse. "It's fine, Clara. No apologies necessary." Lacey replies after what seemed like an eternity. "Well, I have to go out the back way since my car is parked back there. I'll call you soon. Tell Mom I said, 'Hello'."

"I will." Clara says before exiting Lacey's house and heading to her car. Clara wanted to either laugh, scream, or cry over what just occurred. She was that close to Lacey, yet they seemed to be a million miles apart.

Lacey got into her car and had no idea where she was going. She just knew she needed to do something to take her mind off of her problems. They weren't really problems, she was just angry and hurt by the things that happened in her life almost a day ago. A woman that she never knew existed came into her life and changed the course of it dramatically. Lacey loved Danny and was truly in love with him. She had deeper feelings for him than she had for any other man. She really loved and cared about Archie as well, but she didn't feel about him the way she felt about Danny.

She hadn't really thought about it that much, but she did think she would eventually marry him. Now that wasn't possible because he was already married to someone else and he lied to her. More like he didn't tell her because truth be told, Lacey never asked him if he had ever been married. She just assumed he hadn't been. He did lie about his father though. That scared her and made her wonder what else he lied to her about or kept from her.

Lacey drove around with her radio blaring. Music was a huge part of her and she enjoyed it very much. She loved listening to all different kinds of music. She loved listening to music to match her mood or to put her in a better one. One of her favorite artists, Jill Scott, came on and the song My Petition started to play. Lacey really saw that the lyrics conveyed a lot of what she felt.

You say you mean good for me

But you don't do it

You say you have a plan

But you just don't go through with it

You say you know the way to go

And I should follow

But all of your empty promises

Leave me hollow

And ohh, how do I trust you?

How do I love you?

When you lie to me repeatedly

And ohh, how do I have faith in you?

When you just don't come through

Like you said you could

Oh say, can you see?

You say that I'm wrong for

Stating my opinion to you

You say that I'm wrong

And there'll be quiet consequences too

But I know my rights babe

There'll be no law bridging

The freedom of my speech

Or the right for me to petition for a remedy of grievances

And I want to trust you

I wanna love you, yeah

But you lie to me repeatedly

And oh, I wanna have faith in you

But you just don't come through

Like you said you could

Oh say, can you see?

I want fresh foods, clean water

Air that I don't see

I want the feeling of being safe on my streets

I want my children to be smarter than me

I want, I want to feel I wanna feel, I wanna feel free

For real yo'

I'm just telling you, so you know

I wanna, I wanna have faith in you

I really do but you keep lying to me

And it hurts

I believe, I believe you owe it me

Give it to me like you said you would

Oh say, can you see?

Oh say, can you see?

Ooh say, can you see?

By the dawn's early light

Lacey put that mess out of her mind. She was starting to feel numb to the pain. She wasn't going to cry or dwell on it any longer. She rode past a Hooters, and thought she might go in there because she loved their chicken and she could get lost in a game either on tv or on one of the game systems they had there. Then she decided against that because there would be men there. She didn't feel like being alone in that type of setting where there was mostly men in attendance. She kept driving and then made an illegal u-turn. Damn that, she thought. She wasn't going to let somebody take that away from her. She was going to go in there, alone, and enjoy herself.

She parked her car and went in. She immediately saw two different groups of men in the opposite corners. They were engrossed in playing video games. She hoped it stayed that way. She saw others sitting at tables, but from what she saw, she was the only person there alone. She went and took a seat at the bar. She could order herself one drink before her food arrived so that she would still be able to drive. She ordered a Long Island Iced Tea while she ordered some wings and curly fries.

She was sipping on her drink when this guy approached her. Lacey rolled her eyes and huffed. So much for that, Lacey thought bitterly. Why couldn't he just leave her the hell alone? Lacey started thinking of a plan of attack. Would she nasty so that he would go away? Be polite and tell him that she doesn't want to be bothered? Tell him the truth about just getting out of a relationship? Or play a game? Lacey decided to play a game. They did that crap all the time. Playing a game should send him on his way.

"Is this seat taken?" He asks politely.

Lacey glanced over at him. She stood and took her blazer off to size him up better. From what she could see, he was white, tall and slim, but she could tell he worked out. He had a sleeve tattoo and long, blonde hair. Really? He has long hair like Danny? Why me? He was handsome, and at any other time she would be attracted to him. But her broken heart and break up with Danny changed all that.

"No." Lacey says just as politely as she sits back down.

He sits down and she smells his cologne. It's the same one Archie wears. "Hi, I'm Jesse. It's nice to meet you." Jesse says as he extends his hand.

Lacey puts down her drink to shake his hand. "Hi, I'm Lacey."

"So, what brings a pretty woman like you to a place like this by yourself?" Jesse asks as he takes a sip from his beer mug.

"Well, I'm here by myself because I just broke up with my girlfriend." Lacey lies so that maybe he'll think she's a lesbian and keep it moving.

"Girlfriend? Really?" Jesse asks in surprise, although it doesn't send him running.

"Yup." Lacey says as she smiles and takes a sip of her own drink.

"So...you're a lesbian?" Jesse asks, immediately turned on. There's just something about a hot lesbian that turns him on.

"Yup." Lacey lies before adding, "I've always been into guys right, but then I broke up with my boyfriend and my new friend took me out to get my mind off of it. We went to this club and at the end of the night, she kissed me. At first, I was stunned and taken aback. I was completely thrown off guard and then I became confused. I kept thinking about it. Then my friend stayed over for the weekend. The first night, she slept on the air mattress on my floor. We talked about the kiss. I told her that I really liked it but I was confused. I always liked guys, but I liked kissing her. I was still so confused. Then the next night, I suggested she get in the bed with me. I got a little ballsy then I kissed her and we made out. We did other things too. Well, really I just let her do me because I was so inexperienced in that way. But after my first time with a woman, I realized that I never wanted to be with guys ever again. Women know what women want." Lacey says as she takes another sip of her drink. She leans closer to Jesse and whispers, "Do you know how many nerve endings the clitoris has?" Lacey asks as she licks her lips then smiles.

Lacey's food arrives and the bartender smiles as she puts it down. Lacey starts to eat her food and she realizes that Jesse is watching her.

Jesse clears his throat. "Tell me more." Jesse says, more aroused than ever at hearing her story.

Lacey takes a sip of her drink before telling him more of a story she's just making up as she goes along. Really, this story is true, she's just embellishing a little. "Well, we continued to fool around until I found out she wasn't a real lesbian like she said she was. I found out how much of a liar she was and I cut her off. I got a few more girlfriends in college, but I met my now ex girlfriend at work. Her name is Danielle, but we call her Danny. Anyway, I was with my other ex girlfriend, Archie, when I found out she cheated on me. Yes, Archie's a girl. Her real name is Archalane, but since she's a lesbian, she prefers Archie. I was devastated. I couldn't believe I was cheated on. I found out when Archie and I were having sex one night, and I called out Danny's name. She was pissed and confessed to cheating on me, so I broke up with her. The next day at work, Danny saw how upset I was and offered to cheer me up. I went to her place that night and she cheered me up by going down on me and we've been together ever since. That is until her husband, Reginald showed up. I can't believe she was married to a man. So, here I am, single again." Lacey says as she picks up a curly fry and pops it into her mouth. She hopes that her incessant talking and ramblings about being a lesbian have done enough to send him on his way.

"Wow." Jesse says as he takes another sip of his beer. 'So, you haven't thought about getting with a guy since you have all of these problems with women?" Jesse asks and he hopes that she says yes because he has a feeling he can change her if she got with him.

"I've thought about it. But penises scare me." Lacey says. "I'd much rather have a nice, soft woman. Unless the guy looks feminine. Maybe if he had long hair." Lacey states and then she looks over at Jesse who has a weird look on his face. "Oh, sorry." Lacey says as she picks up a wing.

Jesse still isn't deterred. "Well, Lacey. Would you like to meet my friends? Help you take your mind off your ex? Or I could cheer you up the same way your ex girlfriends did." Jesse says as he smiles and takes a sip of his drink. His smile reminds her of Danny's.

Lacey pretends to not be completely disgusted and smiles at him. "I'll meet your friends. I'll think about the other part only if you promise to keep your hair out. " Lacey says before she goes back to eating her chicken. She finishes up, grabs her purse and takes her drink with her over to the group of guys in the corner.

Jesse clears his throat to get his friends' attention. "Guys, this is my new friend Lacey." Jesse pauses as Lacey waves and several of his friends gawk at her. "That's Greg, Al, Rico, Tom, and Jerry. Tom and Jerry are bothers." Jesse says and Lacey giggles. She notices that the one named Rico is looking at her.

"Tom and Jerry like the cat and mouse from the cartoon?" Lacey asks in a joking tone.

"Yeah, our parents have a weird sense of humor." Either Tom or Jerry says and everyone laughs.

"Your name is Lacey?" Rico asks and they all look at him like he's a fool because Jesse just said that.

"Yes." Lacey says as she smiles a little uncomfortably.

"Danny's Lacey?" Rico asks as he looks at her. He knows she has to be the woman Danny is so in love with.

Uh oh. Shit! Lacey thinks. Lacey notices that all of the other guys are paying attention, especially Jesse. Shit. She hopes Rico doesn't blow her cover. "How did you know that?" Lacey asks nervously as she takes a sip of her drink.

"I'm Danny's lawyer and friend." Rico says.

Shit! Lacey needs to pull Rico aside before he says too much. "Um, can I talk to you in private for a moment?" Lacey asks as she points in the direction she wants Rico to follow her.

"Sure." Rico starts before he starts to follow Lacey. "I'll be right back guys." Rico says to his friends and they all watch as he follows the hot woman Jesse just introduced them to. Jesse would be more upset with Rico if she wasn't a lesbian, so he decides to let it go and play games with his friends while subtly watching Rico and Lacey.

"So, you know Danny?" Lacey asks nervously, wondering what Danny has told him about her.

"Yes. I've been his lawyer and friend for years." Rico answers a little timidly. He can tell Lacey is upset about something, but he doesn't want to bring anything up. He hasn't talked to Danny in a few days, but he wonders if Lacey's attitude has anything to do with Danny's problem.

"So you know about Regina." Lacey says as a statement, instead of a question.

"Yes. I know about Regina. He told you about her?" Rico asks in surprise. The last he heard, Danny didn't want Lacey to know anything about Regina.

Lacey takes a sip of her drink. "Well, he had to since she came here." Lacey says and she notices the shocked look on Rico's face.

"She came here?!" Rico asks in a totally amazed expression.

"Yes. She came here last night while Danny and I were cooking at his place. I was shocked as hell because I had no idea he was married or that Regina even existed." Lacey says sadly.

"I knew that. He didn't think you would understand or even believe him. He wanted to get rid of her for good so that he could have a future with you. He loves you and wants to marry you. I never thought I'd hear Danny talk about getting married again after what Regina and his father did to him." Rico says and he watches the look on Lacey's face change.

"So that story is true?" Lacey asks sheepishly. Was Danny telling the truth?

"Yes, it's true. It is kind of hard to believe, but it's true." Rico says as he takes a sip of his beer. "You didn't believe him?" Rico asks in concern.

Lacey shakes her head as a tear falls from her eye. "No, I didn't believe him. I broke up with him. I said some pretty nasty things to him." Lacey admits in a sad and embarrassed tone as she wipes the additional tears that fell.

"Lacey, I've known Danny a long time and I know that he never goes to this much trouble for anything. He really loves you. I will admit that even I didn't believe that story when he first told me. I didn't think a father would do that to his son. He never gave that fake marriage a second thought, because that's what he thought about it. He wanted to divorce her but she wanted all his money since he didn't have a prenup. He just left it alone and made sure that she wouldn't get a dime from him. He never gave it a second thought to ending it until he met you and wanted to marry you. He didn't want you to know because he thought you wouldn't understand and would be mad that he didn't tell you in the beginning. I haven't heard Danny mention her in years. I think he should have told you, but I also think you can get past this. You do love him, right?" Rico asks after he lays a guilt trip on Lacey

"Of course I love him. That's why this hurt so much. My sister told me to give him another chance, but I was too mad and stubborn and also hurt to listen. I still don't like that he's married though." Lacey admits truthfully.

"You have a right to feel that way. But I don't think they'll be married much longer anyway. Regina should be out of both of your lives forever pretty soon." Rico states as he takes a sip of his beer.

Lacey thinks silently for a minute. "Do you think he'll take me back and accept my apology?" Lacey wonders while she questions Rico.

"Of course. He loves you. Now, you have to break poor Jesse's heart." Rico says light heatedly.

Lacey chuckles. "About that. I may have told him that Danny was a female and that I was a lesbian. Does he know Danny?" Lacey asks quizzically in concern.

Rico almost chokes on his beer at that. He coughs and lightly punches his chest. "You what?" Rico asks in an animated tone.

Lacey laughs again and hunches her shoulders. "I told him that I was a lesbian and that Danny, my ex girlfriend, was the reason I was out alone. I told him I was mending my broken heart. I really didn't feel like getting hit on because of Danny. You won't tell my secret, will you?" Lacey asks playfully as pats Rico on the shoulder.

Rico laughs this time. "I get it. I won't say anything. And none of these guys know Danny anyway. They work at my law firm with me. Danny and I don't hang out that much, but it's usually just us because it's most likely personal and business related." Rico replies.

"Great. Thanks for the talk, Rico." Lacey says.

"No problem, Lacey. Shall we join my friends again?" Rico asks.

"Sure. Lead the way." Lacey says as she smiles at her new friend Rico. All of the guys pretend they weren't watching Rico talk with Lacey, aka 'The Hot Lesbian' that they dubbed her as once Jesse told them He did it to make the other guys keep their paws off of her. Jesse was confident enough that the could "change" Lacey if he had the chance. Lacey played a few rounds of Mario Kart with the guys before she decided to head out. She had some groveling to do. "Well guys, I'm heading out. I have to work in the morning. We should do this again some time soon." Lacey slightly lies as she prepares to leave.

"Can I call you some time, Lacey?" Jesse asks. "As friends." Jesse lies himself.

"Sure. Get my number from Rico. It was nice talking to you, Jesse." Lacey says as she flashes him a huge smile.

"I will do that." Jesse says as he watches Lacey walk away.

Lacey looks inside her purse to get money out for her meal and drink. She gives the bartender a nice tip and she smiles at Lacey. "Hey, just so you know. I know you were lying to that guy about being a lesbian. My gaydar didn't even move." She says as she laughs lightly.

Lacey just puts on her blazer and gives the bartender a wink as she smiles and leaves. Lacey went out and got into her car and made the drive to Danny's condo. She needed to discuss this last turn of events with him. She'd be lying if she said she wasn't hurt and confused. She hated that he felt the need to lie to her and keep things from her. But she finally understood why he did it after talking to Rico. Clara told her the same thing. She owed her little sister and best friend an apology. She hoped Clara accepted it because Clara had a tendency to hold grudges and write people off. Lacey didn't think Clara would write her off though. At least she prayed she didn't. Lacey drove towards the man she loved with something else she loved playing in the background: music. She heard a song she loved, Dreamin' by Vanessa Williams, start to play. Lacey blasted it because she hadn't heard that song in years.

Now I'm living in the middle of a dream

A dream with a little bit of fantasy

Dreamin', dreamin'

Dreamin', dreamin'

For the life of me, I never thought that it could be

The way it stands right now

Emotions running high, every night I wish that I

I could tell you how I feel

Those words are here in my heart

Oh, but there is just one missing part

How to put it together?

How to say it right?

And let you know that every night

I'll be dreamin', dreamin'

Hopin' baby you will be there

I'll be dreamin', dreamin'

Hopin' baby you will be there

Let me take time out to try and find out

If this could be real

'Cause reality scares me

I've been living a fantasy

How should I feel?

Those words are here in my heart

Oh, but there is just one missing part

How to put it together?

How to say it right?

And let you know that every night

I'll be dreamin', dreamin'

Hopin' baby you will be there

I'll be dreamin', dreamin'

Hopin' baby you will be there

Those words are here in my heart

But there is just one missing part

How to put it together?

How to say it right?

And let you know that every night

I'll be dreamin', I'll be dreamin'

I'll be dreamin', I'll be dreamin'

I keep on dreamin' 'bout you every night

I'm dreamin' 'bout you every night

Make you all mine

Now I'm living in the middle of a dream

A dream with a little bit of fantasy

Now I'm living in the middle of a dream

A dream with a little bit of fantasy

I wanna dream till I make you mine

Lacey felt a lot better after singing along with the song she loved and thinking about Danny. She pulled up in front of his place and checked her reflection in the rearview mirror. She couldn't believe her eyes when she saw a woman that looks a lot like Regina, Danny's wife, walk into the building. Lacey sat there and watched to see how long it would take her to come out. After ten minutes, Lacey wiped her eyes and pulled off.

"That lying, sneaking, whore ass motherfucker." Lacey said out loud as she put her car in drive and sped home.

Danny was at a loss for words when she stepped off his elevator. He never expected her to come back and see him. She had the weirdest look on her face and he instantly felt his blood boil and his heart rate speed up. He thought that must ve how Bruce Banner felt when someone made him angry and The Incredible Hulk appeared. He already wanted to turn green and wreck shit, and he might get his chance.

"Hello, Danny. Surprised to see me again?" Regina asks as she smiles at him, like she isn't in danger. Danny really thought she must be crazy to come back there even after he threatened to send her where Vikram went.

Danny just looked at his uninvited guest with pure rage in his eyes. He already had visions of killing Regina, and now she was back. It scared Danny because he really wasn't sure if he would be able to resist choking the life out of her. Danny became very afraid for her safety and his future just by looking at her. Danny was scared as hell because he didn't trust himself alone with her. He was literally and figuratively mad enough to end her life. Danny knew he had to get his fury, anger, and emotions in tact before he spent the rest of his life in prison. He was a very rich man but even he didn't think he could buy his way out of that. Rico and Karen would be furious with him. Danny did the only logical thing he could think of to do. Not even for her safety, but for his own.

Danny just stares at Regina. He really can't believe she came back after what she did to him. Danny tries to control his rage. He had to ask while she was there though. "What are you doing coming back here, Regina?" Danny asks in a calm voice. He had to let her think he hadn't become unhinged.

Regina shrugs her shoulders. "I just came by to apologize for busting in here like that. I should have just signed the papers instead of trying to cause more drama in your life." Regina says as she smiles. She doesn't mean a thing she's saying. She only came back to sweet talk Danny into reconsidering his initial offer. She needed that money and she hoped it wasn't too late for her to charm and manipulate him. She did it so easily before in the past, she was sure she could do it again. If sweet talking and seducing him didn't work, she had another plan in mind. The only thing is she keeps forgetting that Danny isn't the young guy she seduced anymore. He didn't even look the same. His hair was longer and he was sporting a goatee. It really seemed to suit him. He was taller and not as thin as he was back then. Regina always thought Danny was handsome, he was just a younger version of his father. Now, she really had to admit that he was sexy. Maybe she should have played that game a little longer...

Regina just walks over and sits on his sofa like she's entitled to do that, has permission or like she lived there. Danny shakes his head in disbelief. He just walks over too, but remains standing. She just completely chopped his balls off and then had the audacity to come back like it was no big deal. He despised her with everything inside of him. He wanted to play along though to see what she was really up to. He knew Regina was a con artist and gold digger. She lied out of habit. Her whole life with him was a lie. He suddenly wondered if her name was even Regina. He doubted it. "That's not the only reason. That can't be the only reason. Why did you come back here?" Danny asks again, his patience wearing thin.

"I just came to make sure I didn't totally ruin things between you and your girlfriend." Regina answers, with a sly smile on her face.

Danny chuckled to further get into character. "Well, you're a little too late for that Regina. My girlfriend broke up with me. She doesn't believe that we haven't seen each other since our break up. She called herself a mistress. She didn't believe the story I told her about you and my father. I can't say I blame her though." Danny replies solemnly.

"I'm really sorry to hear that, Danny. Would you like for me to talk to her and tell her the whole story?" Regina offers to make Danny think she really cares about his girlfriend breaking up with him. In reality, Regina couldn't care less. All she wanted was her money.

The wheels start spinning in Danny's head. He actually considers this. If Regina explained that everything he said was true, Lacey might be a little more forgiving. Danny wasn't sure he was ready to fully trust that Regina will do what she says she's going to do. she could be using him to start more trouble. Danny was desperate, but not stupid enough to actually do it. He had to find a way to get Lacey back on his own. He really doesn't think Lacey would appreciate having a meeting with Regina. He would never bring Regina to Lacey's house, and he strongly doubted that Lacey would come to his place. It was a lose/lose or no win situation all around.

"Thanks, but no thanks. I don't think she'll listen any way. I just have to accept the fact that our relationship is over. Like you said, I can find another one where I found her." Danny replies. He doesn't want another woman. He wants his Lace back. Danny is still trying to control his anger around Regina. It's not an easy thing to do. "What is the real reason you're here, Regina?' Danny asks in a serious tone.

Regina sighs. "I really did come to apologize. If there's anything I can do to make this entire situation better, just let me know." Regina says as she gives him the look that lets Danny know exactly what she means by that.

Danny had no intentions of ever sleeping with Regina. She could be planning to get pregnant to get money out of him. He wasn't at all attracted to her any more. Lacey was the only woman who made his penis quiver and his heart skip a beat. Regina is seriously barking up the wrong tree, but she doesn't need to know that right off-hand.

Danny sits down on the sofa next to her. It takes everything in him to not reach over and strangle her. "So, what does that mean, Regina?" Danny asks seductively.

"Well, you don't have a girlfriend anymore, and I am still your wife. We can rekindle that, don't you think?" Regina questions.

Danny almost lost it at her calling herself his wife. "We had some good times, didn't we?" Danny asks as he looks over at her. She's still pretty to him, but she's ugly to him also. The ugly outweighed the pretty. He wondered what he ever saw in her. He hated every breath that she took.

Regina takes this time to climb on Danny and straddle him. She was surprised that he wasn't aroused, but assessed that it shouldn't take long to change that. She reached down to stroke him. Danny had to close his eyes and pretend that she was Lacey to get the kind of reaction she wanted. Jackpot! Regina thinks. This was easier than I thought it would be.

Danny rubs her back and starts to stroke her hair. He grabbed her hair with a little force. He knew he didn't hurt her, but he did enough to scare her. He loved watching the reaction that appeared on her face. Danny leaned closer to her. "Regina, you never should have come back here." Danny says as Regina trembled and her eyes grow to the size of saucers with fear.

Author's Note Again: The conversation Lacey had with Jesse was supposed to be lighthearted and fun. If I offended any of my readers with that, I truly apologize and that was not my intention. I adore my readers and fans, and I would never intentionally try to insult any of you. Thank you for reading.
