Okay, okay, I know I took forever. In my defence, I was going to post this on Thursday, then my dad went to a soccer tournament and took the laptop with him… I was mad… but its here now!

Christine was getting ready to go to school. She was not excited to go to school, now that she knew that she was pregnant. What would other kids say? What about her friends? Michael and her had agreed to not tell their friends for a couple of weeks. The rest of the school would find out on their own.

"Hey Christine, honey. Are you okay with all this?" Brennan asked in the car, after they dropped off Max and Holly at the elementary school. Her siblings didn't know about the baby yet.

"I'm okay with it. I'm still trying to get used to the idea. I have a child growing inside of me. I'm going to be a mother. It's crazy. I'm sure I'm gonna love my child, but I'll be 15 when its born." Christine replied.

"I know. But motherhood's such a great thing Christine. You three, well four, since Parker is practically mine, have changed my life so much. And I love you. I'll be here for you honey. I'm disappointed that you had sex at 14. Even if you do love Michael, you should've waited." Brennan said.

"Yea. We shouldn't have had sex, but it was really in the heat of the moment. I love him even more now that he's staying with me and gonna help me through this. I'm so glad that he's here. He'll be such a great father." She subconsciously put a hand on her stomach.

"When was it? The sex, I mean." Brennan asked.

"After the Winter Formal. I didn't go to Jennie's house; we went over to his house. Angela and Hodgins were in New York, remember? We took a cab back and I spent the night there. It was awesome, honestly." Christine said reflective on the experience.

"Oh." Brennan said, pulling up at the school. "Okay, have a good day sweetie. Remember, Lily will pick you and Michael up for the appointment around noon, okay?"

"Okay mom. Bye, love you." Christine said and headed towards the school.

"And so because of this" 5th period math teacher said "the answer is 4." Then, an office aide walked in and handed her a slip. "Christine, you'll be leaving. Make sure to do the homework." He handed her the slip.

"Where are you going?" Some kids asked her, but she just ignored them and walked up to the office, where she saw Michael and Lily already waiting.

"Are you ready? Let's go!" Lily said excitedly. "You know, I should probably be really disappointed in you two, but I'm so excited!"

Christine laughed. "I'm just nervous. I don't know how far along I am."

"Don't be nervous. It'll be fine!" Lily said. "What do you think, Michael, of this whole situation?"

"I don't know actually. It still hasn't sunk in. I mean, I'm gonna be a dad. It's… mind blowing. I'm glad it's Christine though." He said.

"Really?" Christine said.

"Of course. There's no one I would rather do this with. I love you." He said and kissed her.

"I love you too. I'm actually really excited now."

"See! I knew you would be." Lily said. They were in the parking garage of the hospital. "Now let's go!"

The three of them walked up to the maternity ward and told the nurse that they were there. They sat down in the waiting room, but were quickly called. "Christine Booth." The nurse said. Christine and Michael (holding hands) and Lily stood up. "Right this way." They were taken to a room and then the nurse said, "Dr. Wilson will be right with you."

Christine sat down on the bed, while Michael and Lily sat in the chair right next to it. From where he was sitting, Michael could still hold Christine's hand.

Soon enough a tall blonde woman came in. "Hi Christine, I'm Dr. Wilson." She shook Christine's hand. "Lily, great to see you again. Well get to your appointment after Christine." She said to Lily, then turned to Michael. "I would guess you're the father of Christine's baby."

"Yea. I'm Michael. Nice to meet you." He shook her hand as well.

"Nice to meet you too. Are you two dating?" Dr. Wilson asked. Christine nodded. "Oh that's great. So many young fathers leave the girls to do all the work. It's terrible. Nice to see a decent young man, that actually stays." She said, and then headed over to the computer and types in something. "Oh. Of course."

"What?" Christine asked at the doctor's surprised reaction.

"You're Dr. Brennan and Mr. Booth's daughter. I knew your name sounded familiar! I was your mom's doctor when she was pregnant with you, Max, and Holly. I delivered your siblings. I would've delivered you, but I'm assuming you know that story."

"Oh! Yea, that's an interesting story." Christine laughed.

"Yea, your mom sure is tough to do something like that." She shook her head. "So Christine, can you tell me the starting date of your last period?"

"Um, I believe it was December 6th."

"Okay. Do you have an idea of date of conception?"

"December 20th."

"Okay. Well that would make your due date September 12, but your baby could be born any time near there. It also makes you 6 weeks pregnant." She stood up. "Now, Christine, can I have you lay down and lift up your shirt to your bust line."

Christine did as she was told, taking Michael's hand again. Dr. Wilson then walked over to her with a gel. "Okay, this might be a little cold." She rubbed the gel over her stomach and Christine shivered.

"So, what exactly are you looking to see?" Michael asked the doctor.

"Well, though the baby is not very developed yet, we can make sure everything is going right and we can hear the heartbeat." She said as she got a little monitor and started to rub it over Christine's abdomen. A picture appears on the screen and a thumping sound filled the room.

"Is that its heartbeat?" Christine said in awe.

Dr. Wilson nodded. "It's heart starts beating at 6 weeks, so it sounds perfectly normal."

"It's really fast. That's normal?" Michael said, worried.

"Yes, it's fine. It will continue to be this fast until it is born, and then it will slow down a little but not much after it's born. After the first few months, its heartbeat will slow down to what we are used to." Dr. Wilson explained.

"Oh okay." Michael said. "I can't believe that's our baby." He said shocked, while looking at the screen.

"Okay, well everything looks like it's going perfectly. I'll just print out a few pictures and then we'll work on Lily. How many would you like?" Dr. Wilson asked.

"2." Christine said, and then turned to Michael. "One for my house, one for yours."

"Okay. Christine, you can get off the bed now, and Lily you can get on. I will be right back."

Dr. Wilson left and Lily stopped filming. "When did you start filming us?" Michael asked as he helped Christine off the bed.

"A while ago." She said simply. "You two are so cute and perfect for each other. That baby is gonna have awesome parents."

After Lily got them lunch and took them back to school, the kids took one more class before the end of the day.

They met in their usual spot after school and started to walk home, hand in hand. "It's so much more real now." Michael said. "Like, we saw it. It was proof. I think it finally sinked in. I'm gonna be a dad."

"Are you as scared as I am?" Christine asked him, "Because I'm freaking out. I don't know if I can do this. I have to, but I don't know if I will be a good mom."

"You're gonna be an amazing mom, Chrissy. You've always been great with our siblings and other kids. You'll be fine." Michael said, and then sighed. "I've never been that good with them. I'm definitely freaking out."

"Don't worry about it. We have a while to prepare." She said and they changed the topic for the rest of the way home.

When Christine got home, she was surprised to see her dad. "Hey dad. What are you doing home so early? Is mom here too?"

"No, I didn't have anything to work on, so I So I took the afternoon off." He said. "Holly and Max are doing homework upstairs. Do you have any homework? I was hoping we could talk or do something, just the two of us."

"I have a little homework, but I'm almost done with everything." She said.

"Okay. I'll do a bit of paperwork." He said, and then headed for Brennan's office.

Christine went upstairs and quickly finished her homework. She knew her dad wanted to talk to her about the baby, and surprisingly, she wanted to talk to him too.

She headed downstairs and went into her mom's office. "Dad? I'm done with homework."

Booth jumped up. "Great. What do you wanna do?" He asked.

"Dad, I know you wanna talk about the Michael, me being pregnant, and the baby, so stop beating around the bush." She said bluntly.

Booth sighed. She was just like her mother. "Let's sit down first. The couch maybe."

"Okay."

Once they were comfortably seated, with Christine cuddled into Booth, he spoke up again. "You know I'm disappointed in you Christine. I had higher expectations of you. Your mom and I trusted you not to have sex, at least before you were an adult, preferably before marriage."

"I know Daddy. I'm sorry. I trusted myself not to have sex before I was an adult. I got so caught up in the moment."

"Spare me the details, please. Those can go to your mom." He laughed. "Did Michael pressure you?"

"No. Not at all. If I remember correctly, I initiated everything. He was careful and gentle. Treated me like a princess. You have nothing to threaten him about."

"I'm glad he took good care of you then. He really does love you Christine. I'm glad it was him and not just some random guy who knocked you up. I know Michael will take care of you and the baby. And if not, well, that's where I come in."

Christine laughed. "Daddy!"

"I won't hurt him if he doesn't hurt you." He kissed her head. "Now, how was the appointment?"

"It was... I can't describe it. I got to see it and hear its heartbeat. It really sunk in. I have a baby growing inside of me. It's alive. I have take care of it and give it lots of love. It was so thrilling yet so..." She trailed off, looking for the right word.

"Scary?" Booth suggested.

"Terrifying!" Christine started bawling in to his chest. "It's terrifying! I'm gonna be a mom and I'm gonna have to raise my baby! I don't know if I can do it daddy! I feel like I'm gonna fail and it's gonna hate me and, and," tears soaked Booths shirt "and I'm just gonna fail miserably! I'm gonna be such a bad mom! I'm only 14, Daddy! What have I gotten myself into?!"

Booth wrapped his arms around his sobbing daughter. "Shh, Christine, baby girl. Don't worry about it. It'll all work out eventually. You're gonna be a great mom, absolutely wonderful! That kid is so damn lucky to you as a mom. He or she is gonna love you so much, and you're gonna love them back just as equally." He pressed a still crying Christine to his chest. "And if you ever need help, I will be right here the whole time. Chrissy, your mom and I will always be here to take care of our grandkid! Don't worry about anything Christine." he kissed the top of head.

Christine continued to cry for a while, and then sat up. "Thanks dad. I love you. I'm really excited, but it just now became real." She wiped her eyes and thought. "We should tell Max and Holly."

"How about, when your mom get home."

.

.

.

About an hour later, during which Booth and Christine talked about other things, Brennan got home.

"Nice to see you two having some bonding time. I was worried you would be avoiding each other for a while." Brennan said.

"No, we talked it all out." Booth said.

"Good. Well, I picked up dinner on the way home. Christine can you set the table while go change and get your siblings."

"Sure mom." Christine said. "And, um, can we tell Max and Holly about the baby today?"

"Sure. I wasn't sure if you would want to wait a little longer, but if you're up to it, it would be better for them to know soon. But we might want to tell them not to tell their friends, though, because you and Michael don't want other people to know and their friends might have older siblings in high school." Brennan agreed.

"Yea. That sounds like a good idea. Thanks mom." Christine said and went back to setting the table.

Once the food was ready, Holly and Max came downstairs and sat down. After they had told their parents about their day, Brennan spoke up.

"Well, Christine has something she wants to share with you two."

Christine nodded. "Okay, um, well. Michael and I are gonna have a baby."

Max and Holly sat frozen for a couple seconds. "You're pregnant?" Max asked. Christine nodded. "You had sex with Michael? And dad hasn't killed him yet?"

"I'm trying to restrain myself since he's help with the baby and he honestly loves Christine." Booth said.

"Wait, so both you and Lily are gonna have babies?" Holly asked. Christine nodded again. "Cool! If it's a girl can I put dresses on her and have her play with dolls and stuff!"

"Of course you can Holly." Christine said. "I'm glad you guys are so okay with this."

"When will it be born?" Holly asked.

"Well, my due date is September 6, but it could be anytime near there."

"Have you already gone to the doctors?" Max asked.

"Yea, Lily took Michael and me today."

"Oh, yea, how was that?" Brennan asked.

"It was so real. We got to see the picture and hear the heartbeat. Everything finally sank it. But, yea, the baby's healthy and I'm 6 weeks pregnant." Christine answered. She went to her backpack and got the picture that the doctor had given them. "Here." She handed the picture to her mom.

"Oh my gosh. I remember when you were just a little fetus. Well, we'll put it on the fridge." Brennan said.

"I wanna see!" Holly said. Brennan handed her the picture. "That's a baby?"

"It doesn't look like one yet, but it will grow and then it'll look like one." Christine said.

"Cool!" Holly said and put the picture on the fridge.

Christine was glad her little siblings were taking this so well. Parker hadn't, but that was to be expected. Now, she just hoped everything else would go as smoothly.

I gave you a long chapter, to make up for how long it took! This is actually the longest chapter I've ever written. Please review!

Warning: I might update this less than A Younger Love, since I wanna catch up that to here, and this is 12 years after that story so…. I might not do that since it will take me a while.
