Just a quick little thing that popped into my head.

Better than them

Natsu walked inside the guild, letting the rear door fall closed behind him as he scrunched his eyes in confusion. He'd just seen Mira and Laxus out back, kissing behind a tree that apparently, they thought hid them. Natsu didn't know much about that kind of stuff, but he could tell they'd been quite enjoying themselves. In the short time it had taken him to walk past and into the guild, he'd heard multiple throaty moans coming from each.

He turned the corner of the hallway, and his eyes went wide. What the hell?!

In the shadowy corner he could see the outline of Erza, her body pressed tightly to Jellal's. They were kissing each other hungrily, their hands all over each other.

Natsu felt his face heat up and he quickly continued walking. He turned the last corner to the main hall and sighed in relief. Lucy was there, sitting on one of the bar stools with her head bent downward. She was busily scribbling something on a small notepad - probably another story idea.

He started to walk towards her when suddenly he noticed movement out of the corner of his eye. On one of the table benches sat Gajeel and he had Levy on his lap, their mouths sealed together. Her hands were in his hair, tilting his face back while Gajeel's hands were gripping her hip and...

Natsu quickly averted his eyes and kept walking. What was going on tonight?

He finally reached Lucy, relief sweeping over him. But then he spied Gray and Juvia sitting at the far end of the bar, hidden partially by a pillar. From the angel he was at, he could tell they were kissing as well and Natsu scratched the back of his head before he turned to Lucy.

She smiled up at him when she finally pulled her eyes from her notes and Natsu swooped down and kissed her. Lucy nearly jumped out of her seat, grabbing onto Natsu's vest to steady herself.

"Natsu!" she squeaked when he pulled away, her eyes wild with confusion. "What are you doing?"

Natsu's eyes swung around the room, pausing at each of the couples. "I thought we should try it too."

Lucy followed his gaze, her face flushing. "But Natsu, we're not..."

He kissed her again, swallowing her words. He lingered longer this time and felt heat blossom inside his gut before he pulled away. "We're not, what?" he asked, looking at her with wide eyes.

Lucy swallowed the lump in her throat. "We're not... like them," she managed to say, unsure how else to put it.

Natsu quirked his head to the side. "I know we're not... we're better than them. Let's kick their asses."

He kissed her again, angling his head before Lucy pushed him away.

"Natsu! You can't just-."

He grabbed her by the waist and lifted her off the chair before pressing his mouth to hers once again. He heard her begin to protest but then her words died in her throat and instead came out as a muffled groan.

Spurred on by that sound, Natsu placed a hand on her hip and pulled her closer. He could feel her own hands against his chest, balled into tight fists and felt a deep satisfaction when they softened and slowly spread over him.

Without realizing what he was doing, he parted his lips and ran his tongue along hers. The moment their tongues touched, a bolt of lightning seemed to zip down his spine and then explode through his veins.

He pulled her closer still and sighed when her arms slid beneath his scarf and around his neck. He hadn't expected these feelings, hadn't expected to feel like he was burning up inside and that he was suddenly desperate to touch every inch of her. But he was never one to deny his reactions, and he wasn't about to start now.

His mouth angled further, trying to drink her in as much as he could. His hands were all over her back, curving over her waist before gripping her hips. He heard Lucy moan, and it enflamed him further, urging him to press himself closer so that her chest rubbed against his.

He wasn't sure how much time passed but when they finally pulled apart, he had to take several deep breaths before he was able to open his eyes again.

"Natsu..." Lucy whispered, seeming to be struggling with catching her breath as well.

He could only mimic her, murmuring, "Lucy..." as he pressed his forehead against hers.

When he finally felt composed enough to straighten, he smiled down at her and felt blood rush to his cheeks when she smiled shyly back. "I told you we were better than them," he said quietly.

Lucy chuckled softly and then darted her eyes around the room. "Speaking of," she said, her hands still holding his shoulders, "It looks like everyone left."

Natsu quickly scanned the room with his eyes, his mouth falling open incredulously. "Where did they go?"

Lucy shrugged, "They probably went home."

"Together?" Natsu questions, his hands sliding over her waist.

"More than likely..." she answered with a blush.

Natsu's eyes widened and then he leaned down as if to kiss her again, but paused a breath away and whispered against her lips, "Should we go home too?"

What do you think... should Natsu go home with Lucy?

Wasn't planning on continuing this but if there is enough interest, I'll give it a go :) Let me know!

Sorry for any/all errors. Like I said, it popped into my head and I just scribbled it all down quickly. Don't feel like editing lol.
