"Let us pray," My mother held out her arms for us to hold hand in a circle. We all sat down at the table and joined together holding hands. "Lord thank you for this day and this special guest you have brought us. Amen," Mom usually said pray short and right to the point. It was silent for a little bit. All you heard was passing dishes and clinks they made along with the silver wear.
"So Angela how do you like work?" I asked her to break the silence. Everyone starred at her and her cheeks got pink.
"Good." She bit her lip and left the conversation.
"Alright I hate this part of introducing someone then asking all those boring questions like a game, so how about we all play Never have I ever." Emmet winked. The whole family laughed. We loved that game.
"How do you play?" Edward asked.
"Okay, so someone says never have I ever... something and if you have then you have to take sip of your drink." The game was an family game. "I'll go first! Never have I ever... puked infront of my class," Emmet smirked looking at me. Damn him!
"That was one time! Emmet! Ugh!" I took a sip of my wine.
"Haha it's ok Bella the students you threw up on forgave you." I rolled my eyes at him while he chuckled.
"Alright never have I ever... ripped my pants," I looked out to see who took a sip of their drinks. I saw mom, charlie, Emmet, and ouut of the corner of my eye Edward. I started laughing.
"Edward really man!? Edward's face got red.
"Pants were to small, okay never have I ever woke up in the morning with then sang in the bathroom for a half hour," God people just love to hate on me! I gave him the death glare and took a sip of my drink.
"Well never have I ever had a butler took me in at night then read me a bedtime story," We all looked around. After a couple seconds Edward took a sip of his beer.
"Bella you swore to secretcy!" Everyone laughed including me.
"No secrets in this game Edward,"
Emmet shouted "My turn! Never have I ever gotten a kiss by royalty..." Edward looked straight at me beside Edward. I think all of them think theres something going on between Edward and I. Edward took another sip again.
"Damn Edward who got the lucky royal kiss!"
"My parents of course and the queen." The game went on for a while after that. I basically lost taking the most sips. Everyone just knew me to well.
Later on that night I went to Edward's room to see how he was doing. I stood in the dooryway of the room. He smiled at me. "Come one I want to show you something," I smiled back and walked outside. He followed behind me. I walked up a small hill to an open grass. I layed down looking up at the stars. "I used to loked to come here at night. Just looking at the stars. The sky was aperfect beautiful night. It was a cresant moon and glassy black sky with sparkling dots pearing through. You can hear the crikets in the silence. Edward then layed next to me. "I don't blame you, it's very beautiful," He said.
"Are you scared? About becoming king?"
"No not really, my mother always said its not about being known for king, it's about what you do for the people. I don't want to sit on a throne and tell people what to do. People always thought of us as a joke. The way they think we act. All spoiled and rich with a pretty face. Or some people who just harp on the past." Edward spoke looking up at the sky.
"Then change it. Make them not think that." I turned on my side and proped my head on my elbow.
"That's why I want to save lives. Do something different. I want to be a docto I want to travel to poor countries that can't afford medicial. I dont even want to have the throne yet." He explained. I didn't know what to say to that, so I just nodded. It got really quiet again. Then he turned on his side facing me.
"What about you Ms. Swan, What do you have plan for the future?"
"I want to help children, I want to work in the hospital as a nurse to make kids smile," Edward smiled at me.
"Thats amazing Bella," I blushed deep red. He placed his hand on my cheek and smoothed his thumb over my high cheek bone. I looked at his caring green eyes. He down then back in my eyes. He started to lean in. I started to feel myself lean in too. The our lips touched. His smooth lips covered mine. His lips were soft and gentle moving against my. I leaned in more deepening the kiss wrapping my one arm around his neck. His hand ran down the side of my body. I could feel the love in the kiss. There was no way I could hide my feelings from myself for him anymore.
