A.N/ Hey guys! I haven't let you down. I promised I'd never let an update go longer then a week. But honestly I'm a little disappointed I haven't gotten that much views for my last chapter. :( I usually update sooner if I get 7 reviews or more. Which is why I haven't updated lately. Chapter 21

Our lives went back to normal. We haven't brought up anything about the whole baby thing since it happened. Edward has gotten very gentle about what he says around me. He won't even touch me. The only thing he will do it kiss me good night and sleep in another room if he's even home. I haven't said anything because I thought he would be best for him to have his own time from the long weeks. Lately Edward has been out a lot for his dad, and the public. It seems like he's been gone longer then he has before.

He's not even back on the weekends much. Every time I step out in public I get followed by a mob of paparazzi asking me about the miscarriage. Which is why I don't go out anywhere anymore because I don't feel like crying in front of the cameras. "How long were you?" "What is Prince Edward view on the Lost" "What would you have named it?" "Would you try again to produce an heir?" I try not to let the questions get to me. But every time I get back in the house I break down in tears.

"Bella?" I heard a faint voice besides me. I looked up at her while turning my tea with a spoon. "Have you spoken to him?"

I replied back, "No he hasn't been answering his phone."

"Bella, maybe it's time you moved on. You have a life too you know," I didn't want to comprehend or admit that she was right.

"I do have a life, my life is him. I only want him." I protested.

"Sweetie this isn't normal. All you do is go to your work as a secretary at the hospital now and wait for him by the phone. When ever he calls you drop your life to answer him."

"Well he has a very busy schedule. And my life is much easier to rearrange for his life."

"All I'm just saying is you should go out and have some fun, you don't need him to control your life." She took the remote and flipped through the channels.

Prince Edward going on vacation with a bunch of his guy friends to a ski lodge in Vancouver. He and his friends have requested an all female staff to accompany them. But where's Bella Swan? We talked to Prince Edward himself to ask what this occasion was for.

"So what has come to your mind about this trip."

"Well my friends thought we need a break from everything... we need a vacation."

I looked at the T.V. in disbelief. We were suppose to be together this weekend go see a movie. I looked over at Alice. Her lips were pursed in a tight line still starring at the T.V. I grabbed my phone off the table and called his phone on speed dial. I got his voice-mail before I even heard a ring. Fuck! I thought.

"Hey it's me. I thought we were suppose to hang out this weekend. I don't understand. Call me back," I hung up. I felt like throwing the phone across the room in pissed off. Female staff. Really Edward! I went back and sat on the couch.

She sighed. I turned to her. "Don't say it!"

"Say what?"

"Don't say I told you so,"

"I don't need to tell you, you figured it out." I wiped a small tear escaping my eye. My phone started vibrated against my hand. I quickly looked at the caller ID it was Edward.

I answered "Hey, where the hell have you been?"

"Bella relax, I just wanted to call to tell you I can't make it this weekend, I made other planes."

"Yes I saw that, just wish you would've told me instead of the T.V."

"I'm sorry. I promise you next weekend I'll take you out somewhere nice," I heard screaming in the background and a bunch of female laughter. "I have to go, bye" He hung up before I could even respond.

"I love you," I whispered ending the call.

I didn't get to see him all week. I'm so excited to go out with him tonight. I put on the fanciest dress I could find. My dress was lace on top of my chest. And Read that kind of flared out. I wore black sandal heels that securely wrapped around my ankles. There was a knock on my door. Being a little overly anxious I opened the door. I saw him standing there in a white button up shirt with black pants.

"Edward!" I jumped giving him a hug. "I missed you so much," I kissed his lips. He kissed me back softly with a little edge.

"Ready to go?" I nodded and followed him to the car. I didn't mind the paparazzi seeing us. I wanted them to see us together. I could really care less about the them. I was just happy to be with him. After pushing through everyone we got into the car and drove off. "I invited Nick," He told me. My mood went down a little thinking it was only suppose to be us two. Nick was Edward's old friend from England. He was one of the guys that spent the vacation with him.

"Oh, that's fine." He caught onto my disappointment.

"Sorry, He's suppose to leave Monday and I thought he could join us like a good bye dinner." I nodded agreeing.

Once we got into the bar I was the only women that sat at out table. Apparently Nick invited some other friends too. I sat there the whole night with my arms a cross my chest. I took a few sips of beer. Edward pulled me out on the dance floor for a bit until Nick pulled Edward away or some girl would pull me away. This whole night turned into a disaster. I watched Nick get wasted. I was thankful Edward didn't drink as much, because he was driving home. I only met Nick once, when I was in London. He showed me around the sites with Edward. He seemed like a guy that licked to have fun and get drunk on the weekends. I fell asleep on the table until Edward woke me up.

"Bella." He rubbed my back. I sat up and looked around.

"Time to go?" I looked at my watch. It was already two in the morning! He smiled and led me out of the building. We got into the car and drove in silence. He seemed very concentrated on the road. "It was really nice seeing Nick again,"

He smirked, "Yeah, Going to miss him."

"Although he went a little over board with the alcohol," I laughed a little.

"Well that's just Nick," He defended him. I was a little taken it back.

"Be careful around him, don't want to do anything you'll regret." Edward looked at me glaring a bit.

"What's your point?"

"No I'm just saying he's kind of a bad influence for you."

"Bella he just likes to have fun. And who are you to tell me who to be around," He snapped.

I looked at him. "I never said don't hang out with him,"

"It's what you were implying." He paused "I'm doing a medical training in Asia for babies with cleft plait." Shocked to hear his news.

"Edward that's great! wait did you say Asia?" He kept his eyes on the road. "How long?"

" four years,"

"Four years!" I exclaimed.

"Bella you know I want to be a doctor and make kids smile it's a perfect opportunity."

"But four years Edward! And you haven't even discussed it with me. I barely see you now."

"We are discussing it now."

"Already sounds like you made up your mind,"

"I am an adult Bella. I can do as I please without your permission. I can't be held down. This is the only time I have before taking the throne."

I snapped. I had it with him. "Edward, I live alone in the apartment. I've been paying the bills because you're to busy traveling for your dad. I put my life on hold whenever you call just to speak to you. I change my weekend plans so we can be together and you say you need to be free."

" I need to be free to do what I want to do with my life."

"Free... You need to be free. Stop the car,"

"Bella you are being ridiculous, I didn't mean it that way,"

"I said stop the car!" I demanded. He finally pulled over to the side. "Do what you want now. You are 'Free' I won't hold you down anymore," I got out and slammed the door.
