It feels like a huge hole has been punch through my chest. I've been in bed for... I don't know I lost track. I think the only time I left my room was when I heard presents being opened by my little sister. I don't remember anything. Alice came and visit me once a week for a few weeks after the break up. I still stare at my phone hoping he would call or text me. I would cry myself to sleep every night. I missed his arms around me. His voice whispering in my ear. His lips on my skin. I missed everything about him. I heard a knock on the door. Interrupting my thoughts. My mom came in and sat on my bed giving me a huge hug.

"Bella... You do need to come out of this room eventually. " I pulled the covers my head.

"No I don't," Then curled up in a ball.

"Bella Maybe you should come live in Jacksonville with Phil and I. Just to move on and get out of this environment."

"No! I want to stay here. I need to help out dad with Angela, Abigail, and Emmet."

"Honey you really haven't been helping. You've been in bed for the past four and a half months," I peeked out of the covers.

"It's January already?"

"Bella this isn't healthy, you need to start fresh, Edward has..." I winced when she said his name. I then saw the magazine in her hand. I grabbed it and looked at the cover. It was of Edward holding a baby with a fixed lip. Just by looking at the picture of him made my heart melt.

"I can't go out there. All the press will do it take a picture of how miserable I look. 'Little bells depressed without her prince.'

"Yes, only if you make your appearance say that. Show them you're not alone. Go out with friends have fun. Show them you are beautiful and ready to get back out there and mingle. Who knows maybe Edward needs to be reminded of what he's missing." Ugh I hate when shes right!

Alice and I have been going out to clubs and bars for the past two months. I totally forgot how fun it was to be single. I dance with many cute guys. Got many drinks with them and a few numbers. I even thought the press has completely forgotten about me. I was wrong. Day after day I would see new magazines of me dancing in the clubs and with guys. I laughed to myself reading the head lines. It did feel good getting back out there. Alice loved it because we got to go shopping to buy new outfits for the night.

We were at the mall and Alice was trying something on. I waited outside the story. I always felt crowded inside. I'm weird like that.

"Bella!" I heard a familiar voice behind me. I turned around. It was Jacob...

"Jake, hey" I smiled. I still haven't forgotten about what he did to me. That seems like nothing now compared to the hurt I went thought with Edward.

"I wanted to talk to you but I've been to much of a coward to say something. I really wanted to apologize for the way I acted at the party a while back. I know I blamed the alcohol but it was just really me being an ass. I was just mad you brought him and jealous honestly." I pretended like I forgot it happened.

"Oh, it was a long time ago but thanks for the apology. You shouldn't have been jealous. You were my boyfriend,"

"I know I just felt very protective over you." I nodded. "I was wondering if you would give me a second chance..." He looked down putting his hands in his side pockets. I smiled.

"Everyone deserves a second chase." He looked up with a big grin then hugged me into a bear crushing bear hug.

Later that night I told Alice I got a date. She squealed excited for me and helped me get ready. She picked out my outfit, make up and did my hair. It literally took three hours just to do everything. I think it took longer for me to get ready then my actual date will be. Although I never told her who it was because Alice and Jacob hate each other! The door bell rang when I was in the middle of putting my shoes on.

"I'll get it!" Alice skipped down the stairs. "What the hell are you doing here?" I heard her from up stairs. I couldn't help but let out a small laugh.

"I'm here to pick up my date, is that okay pixie? " He responded.

"I swear to god, if you hurt her like last time you don't want to know what will happen. And it's Alice. Oh god! what is that awful wet dog smell. Oh it's you," She said to Jacob.

"It's clone, and it's the smell of a man."

"Then that man won't get a date after smelling that!"

"I'll be the judge of that," I walked down stairs. Jacob smiled at me.

"You look hot, as always." He kissed my cheek. Alice made a gagging sound in the background. "Get used to it Pixie," I laughed. She growled behind him. I would see the anger in her. I'm surprised she held herself to not straggle him. The date was very nice. He took me out to a nice restaurant. He were there just talking for about three hours. Just catching up on life. I told him everything that happened between Edward and I.

"Wow, not so charming as I thought," He said after I told him about the break up.

"Tell me about it," I sipped my wine.

"Wanna go to my place and watch a movie like we used to?" He said paying for the check.

"I'd love to." I smiled.

When we got to the house, he instantly made popcorn for us while I picked out the movie. He always had the best movies to chose from. I pick out World War Z. He looked at me as I put it in.

"Is this because of Brad Pitt?"

"pshhh! no! Maybe..." He laughed then pulled my on the couch and started tickling me.

"Tell me Bells!" I laughed so hard my lungs were burning and my stomach ache.

"Hahaha! Yes okay I confess!"

"Knew it!" He stopped and held me in his arms for a bit. I forgot what the feeling of comfort felt like until I look at his eyes. Those brown warm eyes I missed. He tucked a strand of hair behind my ear and started to lean in closing his eyes. I closed my eyes staying frozen. Suddenly he pulled away to the sound of my phone ringing. I jumped when I felt the vibration in my pocket. I took my phone out. It was Edward...
