POVs used in this chapter: Sol Deuce (Midnight Crew)

Your name is Sol Deuce, and in front of you is one of the greatest things you've ever seen in your now nine years of life. Yesterday, you once again spent your conjoined birthday with your brother, Lux, as well as with your other Midnight Crew friends. For some reason, your dad had been kind of pushing you away from some of the other kids, more specifically the Felt kids, though you really didn't mind much; in fact, you barely hung out with those guys anyway. You hung out with the cool kids, like Dave…well, especially Dave. The guy was your best friend, after all.

You suppose that Lux didn't mind this either, though honestly you wouldn't really know. The two of you had always been close when you were little, but once you started school, you kind of separated. You stepped up, got in with all the cool kids, and you were one of the most popular kids in the fourth grade (next to Dave, of course). Lux, meanwhile…well, he talked with other people. Mostly, he'd play video games with Tavros and chat with Karkat, but he also hung around the Felt kids sometimes, like with Eridan (whose kind of a dork; I mean really, he still believes in magic? That is so last year), Vriska (whose completely and totally evil), and Kanaya (whose…you know, you really don't have a problem with Kanaya, she's alright…though she does wear a lot more black than everyone else does). He doesn't really hang out with Kanaya and Vriska much, though; actually, the girl he hangs out with more is John and Jane's sister, Feferi Egbert.

Ah yes, what couldn't be said about Feferi Egbert? she loved animals, especially fish, she was the best swimmer in class, and she had wonderful dark brown curls that frizzed about in all directions. She had a weird style, as she wore a lot of bright neon colors (mostly green and blue and pink), along with a lot of colorful necklaces and bangles, and for some reason, she always wore a pair of dark pink goggles, as if at any second she was going to suddenly disappear into a body of water. She was amazingly friendly, amazingly popular…though, you weren't really interested in her…and Lux always acted weird around her…

"Sol?!" you snapped out of your mental ramblings as Lux called out in his usual monotone (he wasn't in to showing as much emotion as you did), "you ready or what?"

"Yeah, yeah, hang on." I replied, turning on my shiny new device. It wasn't just a brand new computer; no, it was the computer you'd been ogling for months. It was smooth and sleek, and it had the capability for anything you could put it through…and now, you were turning it on for the second time. the first time you'd had to do boring stuff like setting the time and your profile; ugh, that'd been dull. But now, on this second time, you were going to do something you and Lux had always wanted to: you were going to hack.

You'd been learning here and there from some of the people the Midnight Crew worked with (you'd only see them once or twice before they "disappeared", but you thought it was fun to ask them things before your dad locked you with the other kids in the "quiet room") and now, it was time to do so for the first time ever. One of the biggest legends you'd heard when learning to hack, however, was about a person you were going to try not to piss off so soon; one about the mysterious "Hacker Queen". She was infamous for ruining some of the greatest underground hackers, and while no one knew her identity (or even if she was a girl; she could be a guy who loves using females acronyms), you recognized the fact that'd she be dangerous to mess with. For now, however, it was time for the game to begin.

SKIP TO A FEW HOURS LATER…NAH, LET'S MAKE IT A LOT OF HOURS LATER

Your name is Sol Deuce, and you felt very accomplished. You and Lux had successfully completed your first hack, along with a few others…it was so much fun, neither of you could really stop. You'd recently hacked some girl's computer; you didn't really see anything interesting, so you were about to leave...but wait, what?

"What the heck…" you lightly cursed, trying to escape so that you could turn your computer off. But it was futile; it just wouldn't escape.

"What's going on?" Lux had already successfully logged off and changed, so he decided to lean on your shoulder, watching your screen and he slightly chuckles "didn't think you liked pink so much, Sol."

"It's not my screen!" you brushed him off your shoulder and scowled, "it's some girl's; I can't escape from her screen."

"Let me try." He pushes you out of the way slightly and tries pressing at buttons, trying to get your computer back to its original state. After a while, he scowled at the screen "man, how the hell'd you do this?"

"I don't know! It just happened!"

"Alright, alright, calm down. Quit spitting in my face and let me fix this" he then proceeded to turn off the computer, then turn it on again. Thankfully, the computer had come back to your desktop…unfortunately, the desktop looked totally trashed. Your desktop picture had been changed to a vibrant neon pink, most of the documents you'd put on the first time you'd logged in had mysteriously vanished (later you'd find that they were all moved about into specific areas that you would normally rarely visit)…and a new document labeled "Message" had appeared.

"I wouldn't open that if I were you, it could have another bug." Of course, you promptly refused to listen to Lux's advice and instead opened the document.

The document didn't have any bugs on it (as you'd later find when you did a virus check after closing the doc), and it read only six words, but the message still left you with a certain chill that probably wouldn't leave you for a while:

"Don't mess with the Hacker Queen"

SWITCH TO SOMEONE ELSE FOR DRAMATIC EFFECT

At this same moment, a young girl looks to her computer screen with a certain smirk and takes a sip from her martini. She pets the curled stuffed cat on her lap, which proceeds to produce an automated purring sound from the girl's touch. Once again, someone had fallen under the spell of the Hacker Queen, though this time they'd gotten off with a warning.

"Roxy…honey, go to bed." Crowbar stood in the door way, obviously tired from his latest job. He didn't notice that Roxy had hidden her drink, or even that she'd had one at all. She giggled, and turned off her computer.

That girl is Roxy, aka The Hacker Queen, and know that whenever anyone tries to strike, she. strikes. back.

Lulu: End~ i added the periods for dramatic effect, do you think their a nice touch? tell me about this chapter in the reviews, for I love all of them :3 see you next chapter~
