A loud growl echoed through the town. I looked over to Taiki. I was shaking in fear. His eyes met mine and he smiled. 'Don't worry. I'll protect you.' He mouthed to me.

"It's the monster!" Ayumu shouted. Taiki nodded and ran out the alley way towards the growling sound. Kichiro, Ayumu and I followed behind him.

"Shouldn't we run away from the scary noise?" Kichiro said his voice small.

"We're ninja you baka! We can't run away!" Ayumu yelled. I frowned at him. How could Ayumu be so mean? He knows Kichiro is scared.

My eyes widen at what I saw next. Ayumu was holding Kichiro's hand! I almost awed at the sight. They thought I didn't notice but I did. I was defiantly going to use this against them later.

Another growl ripped through the town.

"It's coming from the forest line! Be careful!" Taiki yelled back to us.

I ran ahead of the two love birds my feet landing on the ground right before the forest. Taiki gave me a signal to stay where I was and jumped off into the trees.

Ayumu and Kichiro landed next to me. I looked to both of them and noticed they were standing too close.

"Ahem! If you too lovers can pay attention we're going to fight so get ready." I said looking into the trees.

Ayumu began to protest but soon stopped and stood next to me. Kichiro appeared on my other side. We got into position; I held my water spear, Kichiro his scarf and Ayumu with a kunai.

A large black wolf with red markings on its face jumped out from the brush. It growled at us and leaped. I rolled out of the way and jumped into a tree. Kichiro and Ayumu stood a few feet away from me on the ground. Ayumu made some hand signs casting a genjutsu over the beast.

Kichiro's scarf grew longer and wrapped it's self around the large beast. The beast growled breaking Ayumu genjutsu. It struggled against Kichiros scarf barking and howling. I broke my spear into four and threw them at the wolf. The spears struck the wolf's paws pinning him to place.

"Good job everyone. It seems the beast is taken care of for now." Taiki said. A seal appeared in Taikis hand. He slammed the seal onto the wolf which turned to stone.

"Whoa! That's so cool!" I exclaimed jumping from my perch.

"Wait. Didn't the little girl say the monster wasn't a wolf?" Kichiro gulped. My eyes widened in realization.

A paper bomb landed in front of Kichiros feet. I didn't have enough time to warn him. Ayumu tackled Kichiro shielding him from the bomb. The smoke cleared and Ayumu groaned in pain. I ran over to him and sat him upright. I put his face in my hands and examined him. His face caught the brunt of the explosion. He was defiantly going to scar. Tears ran down Kichiros face. I let Kichiro hold Ayumu and I ran over to Taiki.

I barely got out a word before I was interrupted.

"Hello, Nami." A voice as cold as ice called out to me. I froze in my spot and glanced around the forest. I couldn't find who the voice belonged to.

"Don't worry my dearest Nami. No one will interrupt us." The voice said.

"What do you mean?! My team is right here!" I yelled to the trees. The voice chuckled.

"Oh my poor poor little wave. Don't you see? You sensei has no chakra left from the seal of his and your little friends are down for the count. You're alone in this one."

A shadow in the trees moved and I was instantly on alert. My water spear appeared in my hands.

"Oh you're getting good. You don't need a hand sign for that jutsu now? I'm impressed." The shadow moved again.

My team mates seemed to fade away. Nothing was more important than this voice. The shadow was the only thing I focused on. Red seemed to swirl in the shadow as it got closer. A man stepped out of the darkness. A black cloak covered him from head to toe. Only his red mask was visible.

He took a step towards me. I felt the killer intent roll off him like waves. I couldn't help but shiver. My jutsu fell before I even noticed it.

"Oh Nami, my dear dear Nami. Or should I say Amber?"

'H-how did he know that name?' My whole body began to shake and I feel to my knees. The man hovered over me. I'm sure he was smirking behind that mask.

"Who are you?" I whispered. My voice was shaking just like the rest of me.

The cloaked man chuckled and put his hand on my shoulder. His arm was covered in tattoos. One in particular caught my eye. It was a wave. The same wave on my necklace.

"I am the Creator, and true to my name I created you."

"Y-you?" I stood up from the ground and took a step away from the man.

"That is right. I am the reason you are here. And you will join me." His voice was deep with a chilling undertone. He tilted his head and I swear I thought I saw a flash of gold from behind his mask. "You have no idea how many times I've been through this, this meeting, this world. I've seen it all before. But this time I've changed the game. You will not win this time. This time, this universe is mine! You will obey me! You are my creation! I brought you here! YOU BELONG TO ME!"

The world around me shattered and cracked; It was a genjutsu!

"KAI!" I yelled. The genjutsu instantly broke. I fell to my knees breathing heavy. I looked around. The man was gone. The creator was gone.

I heard Taiki mumble something from behind me.

I couldn't focus.

My vision when dark.
