A/N: Elefant24, sorry to ruin your Christmas. I was considering actually stopping posting these around Christmas time, but I thought that the damage done would be the same regardless. I can tell you that a lot of us would probably be delighted to find a real PJOmetronic at any time, but unfortunately modern technology hasn't gone that far yet. To be perfectly honest though, I would make Pokemon real before Percy Jackson. On that note, let's actually start this chapter.
This week, we will be doing the most (yes, the most) dangerous PJOmetronic in existence: the Typhon PJOmetronic. As you can probably already imagine, this PJOmetronic is not recommended at all except for experts.
Overview:
As a matter of fact, the Typhon PJOmetronic is so dangerous that you cannot order one like a normal PJOmetronic. In order to place an order, you must call our special helpline, after which experts will come from PJOmetronics Inc in order to evaluate your past history, how many PJOmetronics you have, for how long, etc. It's only when this small task force is satisfied that you can handle him that the package will be delivered.
The most important thing to remember is that the Typhon PJOmetronic has only one use: to give your god PJOmetronics a fight after a while. If you've collected more than eight of the Olympian Gods, chances are that they are probably getting bored. Rather than have them go around do stupid things as a result, you can have them battle the Typhon PJOmetronic so they can let off some steam. Do realize that it serves absolutely no other purpose, if you want a PJOmetronic to rule over your monster camp, there's the Echidna PJOmetronic for that. All Typhon will do is destroy everything in his path, nothing else.
Your Typhon PJOmetronic will include:
1. One Typhon, Son of Tartarus and Gaia
That's it, but when you get your Typhon PJOmetronic all you will really get is a capsule around two feet high. Like the monster set, your Typhon PJOmetronic is frozen within time inside this capsule, except the only difference is that you cannot let him out unless you wish to fight him.
It is recommended that you have at lest seven Olympian PJOmetronics with at least one of the Big Three, preferably two, if you intend to subdue Typhon. We actually won't sell one to you unless you have met these requirements.
Opening the capsule is a process that is rather complicated and will take around ten minutes. We've made it so in order to prevent Typhon from accidentally escaping at any time.
First of all, you need to get whatever PJOmetronics you have that wish to fight and drive somewhere away from where there are houses and trees, preferably a field of some sort or the remote corner of a beach where you can't possibly cause too much harm. There, you need at least seven of your Olympian PJOmetronics to touch the capsule, which will then read their handprints and unlock. After that, there will be some directions you need to follow, like solving a basic maths problem. If it isn't done within ten minutes, the capsule will seal shut and you'll need their handprints again.
After this is done, the capsule will begin beeping. You now need to get at least a hundred feet away from the capsule. After it makes sure that there are no living beings or normal PJOmetronics nearby, it will release Typhon.
It will take around three to four hours for your PJOmetronics to defeat Typhon and send him back into the capsule, sometimes longer, so plan out for a long trip. You might want to bring a video camera to record what happens, just make sure its not a very delicate one. Typhon will emerge only two feet tall, but he will grow exponentially in seconds. Most importantly of all, do not try to go in and 'help' your PJOmetronics.
All you need to do is watch the fight, maybe with your other less powerful PJOmetronics as well. Once Typhon is defeated, the capsule will be sealed for at least two weeks as a safety mechanism so that it cannot be used again for that time.
Note: Only try a fight on a clear day. We've received reports that Typhon can become stronger on stormy or windy days. We're not sure if that's true, but you should probably avoid taking the risk.
Note: Stay vigilant during the fight. Typhon is unpredictable and may even get farther than one hundred feet sometimes. And oh yes, make sure that your PJOmetronics have their weapons before you open your capsule. (There was this one incidence with a Zeus who had misplaced his Master Bolt. That fight took a long time, and in the end we had to send in our specialists to end it.)
It's also pretty normal for one or more of your PJOmetronics to get swatted down during the fight. Don't worry, they'll regenerate within a few weeks, but luckily at the end of all this your Olympian PJOmetronics will stop getting bored and remain content for quite a few months.
Troubleshooting:
Defective Capsule: We try to make the capsules extra strong, but if you notice a crack or something odd with your capsule, contact us immediately and do no in any circumstance try to open it. We don't want an incident, do we?
Stray Wind Spirits: We've heard reports of some weird winds lingering around even after Typhon has been defeated and sealed and they fly around causing trouble. To be safe, you should probably get your Zeus or Aeleous PJOmetronic to clean up afterwards. (And don't let Zeus tell you it is beneath him. Tell him if he wants to have a fight with Typhon he has to clean up after himself.)
