"You're going to throw a party?" Katherine said confused. She was in Elijah's study where Elijah was pouring over various notes and pieces of papers concerning the fractions of the French quarter. "Why?"

"To build an alliance, Katerina." Elijah said patiently. "I thought it would be best if we all got along instead of trying to kill each other."

"And you think a party is a good idea?" Katherine raised an eyebrow. "In my past experience taking down the enemy is the best way to ensure that they don't ruin our plans."

"You sounds like Klaus." Elijah said dryly. "And I would like this event to be as bloodless as possible, and I would appreciate it if you helped me plan the party." He said handing over the guest list.

Katherine took it and kissed the side of his forehead. "All right, but don't think a piece of paper is going to stop them from killing each other."

Davina was sketching a new picture with a black charcoal pencil. Davina didn't know what she was sketching half of the time, she just like feeling her arm glide across the paper as she watched the white paper turned black.

Davina felt a sharp, stabbing pain in her heart as she fell on her knees, her entire body trembling. She started coughing and she saw the ground being caked with blood. Her brown eyes widened. What was happening?

"M-Marcel," she whispered. "Marcel."

Her eyesight became dizzy as she slowly tumbled to the floor.

"A masquerade?" Bonnie asked quizzically as she and Caroline walked into the patio where they found Rebekah and Katherine surprisingly sitting together without either of them ripping their hair out. Bonnie noticed the dozens of beautiful painted masks and colorful invitations as well as a guest list.

"Cool," Caroline picked up the paper. "Are you planning a party?"

"Yes, and that's mine." Rebekah said chirpily as she took the list away. "Elijah is insisting that we do a party and he left Katherine in charge, but we both know how she'll ruin things."

Katherine threw Rebekah an icy smile before throwing a knife in her direction which Rebekah easily catch. "No offense."

"A party?" Caroline asked. "For what?"

Katherine shrugged. "Some alliance thing or something between the humans, werewolves, and vampires."

"And Elijah thinks a party is going to fix everything?" Bonnie looked doubtful.

Rebekah shrugged. "He surely sounds hopeful, personally I think ever since he started dating Katherine again he's been living on cloud nine."

Bonnie was on mid laugh when she saw a very familiar figure. "Davina?" she croaked. The three girls turned towards the empty space.

Davina's chin wobbled. "I died Bonnie."

"How?" Bonnie blurted out. "Were you-"

"Killed?" she asked harshly. "No, I guess the magic got the better of me. Will it hurt? Passing through you?"

She shook her head as she offered her hand. Davina squeezed her hand as she passed though Bonnie. Bonnie felt a horrible, stabbing pain worse than usual as she started coughing up blood. The blood landed on Katherine's blouse. "I'm so sorry, Katherine."

"Forget about that," Katherine said. "Are you all right?"

"Bonnie, you're sick aren't you?" Rebekah asked.

"Bonnie." Caroline whimpered.

"I don't know." Bonnie said as she wiped her mouth.

"Are you ok?" Elijah said as he entered the bathroom of his and Katherine's room and saw the bloody shirt that Katherine had changed out of. "Klaus or Rebekah didn't hurt you did he?"

"No," she shook her head. "Your sister is actually being decent and your brother prefers to ignore me. Bonnie coughed blood on me."

Elijah looked confused.

"There's something going on, on the Other Side, it's falling apart." Katherine shook her head. "And Bonnie's being affected by it, she's dying Elijah. We need to help her."

"We will," Elijah said trying to hide the surprise from his voice. It was weird seeing Katherine care for someone else rather than herself. He hugged her. "I promise Katerina, we will find a way. I'm glad to see that you care for Bonnie." He smiled.

Katherine felt herself blush. "Well, she's not that bad, she's a little bit judgy-but that does not mean I want her dead."

Klaus heard someone sniffling. It wasn't his sister, he had heard Rebekah crying on various occasions, and Katherine would rather scratch her eyeballs out than cry, so that only left- "Caroline."

Caroline hastily tried to wipe the tears from her face. "Klaus, I didn't know you were here, I'll leave-"

"Don't be silly," he argued. "This is your house as well."

Caroline's bottom lip wobbled as the tears threatened to fall again. "What happened, love?"

"It's Bonnie," she hiccupped. "She's sick or something. I think something bad is happening on the Other Side that is causing her to be sick. I've known Bonnie all my life, she can't die Klaus."

"She won't die, Caroline." Klaus said firmly. "I promise you."

Caroline gave a slow nod as she buried her face into his arms. "I'm really glad you're here."

"I will always be here when you need me Caroline." He said as he placed a kiss on her cheek.

"Hayley," Eve said as she knocked on the door. "Someone is here for you."

Hayley frowned, she had been trying to get the small cabin clean but it was nearly impossible without the right cleaning supplies. She was already missing the Mikaelson's lavish livings. She tugged back a piece of brown hair. "Who?"

"Me." Francesca said as she stepped inside. "I want to talk to you alone."

Hayley nodded towards Eve, Hayley crossed her arms over her chest. "What the hell do you want?"

"No need to be so aggressive, Hayley. I'm here to offer you a deal." Francesca smirked. "How would you like to work with me to take down the Mikaelsons?"
