Prompt: Matthew never quit after the wedding.

Notes: I kind of felt like Matthew's story was never fully closed and I secretly hope we get to see him again. Because even though he kept Japril apart, he was a really nice guy. "Patient is Sarah Colin, 19 years old. Sarah was in a car accident. She has a broken arm, hypertension, hemorrhage, and she'll need a CXR."

Jackson looks up to the paramedic while Owen wheels the girl away. He winces as he sees Matthew staring at him. "Thanks, anything else?"

"Yeah, this." Matthew punches Jackson in the face and walks off.

Jackson doesn't get angry, he deserves it. So he walks away from the stares of the staff and into the Attending's Lounge. Alex is in there eating at the table. Jackson walks by him and grabs ice before sitting at the table.

Alex laughs as he watches Jackson ice his eye."What the hell happened to you?"

"Matthew happened. I think he's still a little pissed about me and April running away from his wedding and eloping. Oh and of course he's still working here, Steph makes me feel guilty enough."

"You and Kepner are so dumb. I knew you were going to stand up the moment the wedding started. You're so freaking complicated."

Jackson rolls his eyes. "Yes, and you and Jo had no complications."

Alex quickly changes the subject. "So… how was the honeymoon with Virgin Mary?"

Jackson dreaded this question. Before he can answer April walks in looking well rested, unlike Jackson he had an early shift this morning. She walks up to Jackson with a smile and kisses him quickly. "What happened?"

Alex speaks up from where he's sitting. "Pretty boy got his face punched by your ex fiancé."

April winces and sits down and checks over Jackson's face. "I don't think it will bruise, I wish he punched me. I deserve it. Are you ok?"

"I'm fine. Did you eat yet?"

April nods and smiles when she sees he's wearing his ring. "I had boring cereal. I missed you making me waffles."

Alex snorts. "Is that your code word for sex?"

"No, Karev. I forgot to tell you, Arizona is looking for you." Alex groans and leaves.

Jackson raises his eyebrow. "Does Arizona really need him?"

"No, Arizona isn't even working today. I do need to go grab a few things in the on-call room though…" April walks off and Jackson smiles wide.

"I can't find her anywhere!" Alex walks down the hall.

"Did you try the on-call room?" Jo suggests.

Alex smiles and gives Jo a quick kiss. "Thank you."

Alex jogs quickly into the on-call room. He stops when his foot hits a black lace bra, followed by a pair of scrubs. Next what he sees makes Alex want to gauge his eyes out.

Alex clears his throat and the couple stops and faces him. "Ok I get being a virgin for so long makes you needy for sex. But, learn how to lock the freaking door. I have to go throw up, after I find Arizona."

The door shuts and the couple burst out laughing.
