Chapter 35
The day is finally here. The wedding. It's on every cover of magazines, news paper, even t-shirts. Everything and everyone is so crazy over this. People lining up in front of Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. T.V. reporters talking away. Every channel I flip to is "Live from the wedding." Ever since that day I yelled at Tanya I thought it was best to leave the palace and stay in a hotel with Alice. Edward tried to convince me to stay, but I told him he needed to get focus on the wedding and I need to keep Alice company. It took him days for him to swallow that excuse down. I flipped through every channel to to find something about the weather. It was only a five minute forecast before mentioning the wedding again. I sighed leaning back on the bed.
"What?" Alice came out of the shower with a towel wrapped around her. Then she went to the closet to pick out a dress for the wedding. Alice got an invitation from Edward, to come to the wedding.
"Nothing," It's just do they have anything on besides the wedding!" I complained.
"Bella, it is the wedding day. Of course there will be things about the wedding today," I rolled my eyes shutting off the T.V., and I got up. "Where you going?" She asked putting her last earring in.
"Get some fresh air." She glared at me for a second.
"Okay well be back in time to get dress, and everything," She reminded me. As I passed the bathroom I saw he standing in a full length mirror.
"You look stunning." I stood behind her speechless. She smiled fixing the dress to her liking. I left to go downstairs and walk across to the same park again. The park was empty, barely any cars in the streets. The wind was a light breeze, and the sun warming on my skin. I sat down on the bend taking in the rare England weather. I closed my eyes relaxing trying not to think about everything.
"It's a beautiful day for the royal wedding," Startled, when I heard a voice besides me talk. The last thing I wanted to be reminded about. I turned, it was Prince Michael.
"Prince Michael?" I paused, "Aren't you suppose to be getting ready for the wedding?" I asked.
"Nah, guys don't take as long as girls for a wedding," I smiled a little. "We seem to run into each other a lot at this park," He reminded me of the time I saw him here.
"How's Edward," I questioned with my smile fading.
"He's fine. He missed you a lot. He can't even look at Tanya in the eyes at like; the rehearsal, and the dinner. He wears his fake smile everywhere in we go in public with her. Oh and since I don't have a date... I was wondering if you'd like to be my date to the wedding. Tanya said she would like you there,"
"Umm. Sure," I said without thinking. "And what about Tanya and her pregnancy?"
"I swear that stomach hasn't grown in the past two weeks. She claim it's one of the pregnancies where you don't feel pregnant. She says if she never would've taken the test she would have never guessed she was pregnant. But she did come home with the ultrasound photo of the baby. She was showing it off to all her friends."
I didn't know what to say about that. I wanted to tell him, She not even pregnant, but I couldn't it would ruin the plan. Or would it?
"Michael I need to tell you something, but you can't say anything to anyone promise?"
"Sure of course, what is it?" He looked at me confused. I took a deep breath.
"Tanya..." My phone went off. I looked at the caller ID. Tanya? I looked at Michael wanting to finish.
"Go ahead take that." I was very curious to see what she wanted.
"Hello?"
"Bella! I need your help! Please come to Windsor Palace now!"
"Why should I help you?"
"Because you went for my dress fitting, my dress doesn't feel right I need your help! Be lucky I'm asking you." She hung up.
"You were saying? Tanya..."
"Needs me. I'm sorry I have to go, I'll see you later!" I got up and rushed to the street, waving my hand for a taxi. Finally a taxi noticed me and pulled over and let me in.
"Windsor Palace,"
"Alright but I can only take you so far to the palace," He started driving. I sat in the seat shaking my leg. It felt like forever being in the taxi. He get pulled up to the gates I threw the money at him and got out. I felt bad being rude but I had to get to her. I open the gate and speed walked inside. The only thing that stopped me from rushing was that I bumped into someone. Our shoulder crashed giving us both pain. As I stood up I saw him rubbing his shoulder.
"I'm so sorry," I helped him up. Then I realized it was Edward.
"Edward," I saw how different he looked, with his hair all gel back and his suit on. "You look great," I told him. He smiled
"Thank you Bella." I looked down wanting to tell him. Now's my chance. Or else I have to do Alice's plan. "What's wrong?" He caught my mood, lifting my head up, my eyes meeting his.
"Edward I have to tell you something." He waited for me to carry on. "Don't marry Tanya," I finally managed to get out. "She's-"
"There you are?! Tanya has been waiting for you!" I was cut off again by Kate. Kate was one of Tanya's bridesmaids. I read in the magazines from being bored one day. "Oh sorry, didn't know I was interrupting. But excuse me your highness, Tanya really needs Bella." Kate pulled on my arm.
"I'll be back, I won't take long. Stay here." I ran up the stairs with Kate, leaving Edward at the bottom. I walked in Tanya's room. He wedding dress looking beautiful on her as it should. she turned around and faced me. He face sweating, and her dabbing her face trying not to get her make up ruined.
"My dress won't zip! Bella you said we were the same size. You must be smaller then me! which is impossible!"
"Tanya when I was in the fitting the dress closed all the way. It was even a little big on me," I told her.
"What do we do?!" She freaked out.
"Here, I took a white ribbon and hid her zipper making the dress look better."
"Bella it looks better then before. You're a life save!" I smiled. "Now there's a dress for you to wear to the wedding two in the guest room."
"I don't know Tanya..."
"Please I insist. I mean that's the whole reason I brought you here. Was for you to be at the wedding at least." I nodded. "Girls may I have a word with Bella alone please." Once the last person left my face fell into a frown.
"So you haven't told him." I crossed my arms.
"I was thinking after the wedding on our honeymoon. That way if he wants to divorce me he can't become King." She smirked at me.
"I will tell him before you say 'I do'," I warned her.
She put a fake smile on her face, "why don't you just go and put the dress on and I'll have a limo drive you to the church."
"Alright fine," I walked over to the guest room. I saw the purple dressed laid out for me with my name on it. I went to the bathroom in the guest room and took a shower before getting into that fancy dress. I put on my blue skinny jeans and a sweater. I went to go open the the door was jammed? I tried opening it again. It didn't budge. I slammed my body against the door. Then I banged on the door. Then it hit me.
Someone locked me in the room...
