Chapter 36
I banged on the door for about an half hour now. I took out my phone to tell Alice I was going to be late for the plan. Then I forgot my phone died. Running my fingers through my hair anxiously. Think Bella! The wedding doesn't start for another thirty minutes. I paced back and forth, and looked around anywhere I could run the door down with. I knew she would do something like this. Then I saw it. The window! I thought to myself. I went out to the balcony to see how high up I was. I was a good 2 stories. It was a good thing I didn't change into that dress. I looked around. I couldn't find a ladder or anything to use to get down. But there were vines, which Edward used to climb up to the room. That night of the Holiday ball. I smiled to that thought.
I got up and sat on the edge of the balcony looking down. Even though it was only two stories high, it look as if it was like thirty stories high. I gulped, reaching my foot out on a vine. The vine cracked beneath my foot. Is this even sturdy enough I thought. I slowly placed my foot into crack between the vines. I gripped each vine as hard as I could. Slowly making my way down, then I noticed my foot had no where to go. They must've cut the vines off. My foot slid and and there wasn't a vine to catch it. My knee scrapped against the bricks making me screech in pain for a couple seconds. I was hanging by holding onto the vine. Okay Jump Bella! I told myself, still gripping on for dear life. One, Two, Three...
I hit the ground with a loud thud, which seemed like to me. I laid there holding my shoulder and shutting my eyes. Once I let the pain fade I got up and rushed to the front, grabbing the first taxi in my sight.
"Westminster Abby as fast as you can," The guy turned back to look at me.
"Hey, it's you again," He smiled recognizing me. I smiled back.
"Yes, please now drive there."
"I'll try but it will be very busy with lots of traffic."
"Just go until you can't move anymore," I pleaded. He smiled and started driving. I looked out the window as I saw every window shop closed. People sitting on the curb on the street cheering. The traffic wasn't as bad as it seemed. Felt like forever though. My heart was racing every second we got closer to the church. Then he parked the car...
"This is as far as I can go, looks like they blocked the streets," I tried to look beyond him and the twenty other cars in front. Grabbing my purse I pulled out sixty pounds to pay him. I shoved the money in his hand and ran out the car.
"Hey where you going!" I heard him shout behind him. I looked back at him sticking his head out the window. I forced my legs to move down the street as fast as they could. I pushed through the crowd of people. My hands pushing separating everyone apart, but they just shoved back trying to push me behind. People looked down and yelled at me as I shoved pasted them. I couldn't, I didn't focus on them. When I knocked into people's signs sometimes I'd spin and lose my course. I panted out of breath when I got to the door.
"Where do you think you're going?" A guard caught me.
"I need to get in there!" I yelled at him trying to shove past. I could only hear the faint words of what was going on inside.
"Does anyone object to this marriage..."
"We were order strictly to not let anyone without an invitation to this private event." He picked me up and started walking down the steps.
"Speak now, or forever hold your peace,"
"No! No!" I kicked and screamed fighting back. Then I felt something in my pocket, I pulled it out. The paper was was folded. My trembling hands rushed to open it. "It's an invitation!" I quickly read aloud. The guy stopped and took the piece of paper out of my hands almost giving me a paper cut. The guy starred at it cold and hard, squinting his eyes making sure to read every inch of the paper. I tapped my foot impatiently.
"Very well," He escorted me to the door. I stopped and pressed my ear to the door, trying to make out the words the priest was saying. I gripped the gold handle and ripped the door open as hard as I could.
"STOP!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. I heard the sound of creaking pews as everyone turned around to look at me. My was pounding so loud I could hear it. I felt as if I was a statue. After standing there for a couple second I finally got my still legs to movie forward. I looked straight ahead. I felt all eyes starring at me. Then I saw him. Edward starring at me at the end of the isle. His face gentle, smiling as if he wasn't in shock. A little bit of weight lifted from my shoulders once I got to him. "Don't marry her," I pleaded. Edward starred at me then opened his mouth to say something. When suddenly a pair of arms grabbed me from behind, dragging me to the side exit.
"I thought I said no one allowed without an invitation!" Tanya hollered with her arms crossed over her chest.
"Wait! I have to tell him something!" I struggled against their strong muscular arms. Then I saw Tanya turn to Edward.
"Edward, whatever you do don't believe-"
"Let her go," Surprised to hear Edward's voice being commanding. The guards then dropped my arms. My body flopped on the floor like paper, weightless. I ran back to Edward trying to tell him as fast as I can.
"Edward, Tanya isn't pregnant!" I shouted as loud as I could, so everyone in the room heard me. Everyone gasped behind us cupping their mouths. I looked back at Edward to see his reaction. His face was soothed, calm, and his lips in a straight line, he looked a little shocked. "She's not, she told me herself," He looked behind me at Tanya raising an eyebrow at her.
"Edward, it's obvious she's just saying this just so she could break us up. Like she's always had from the moment she came back." Tanya tried to defend herself.
"Don't play this bullshit with me Tanya. I know you're not pregnant,"
"Okay Bella listen, you might have caught on, but I'm marrying Edward one way or another,"
"So you admit you aren't pregnant."
"Pssh of course I am not pregnant. Edward is so gullible he'd believe anything."
"But what about the pregnancy tests?
"Their James's sister. She currently pregnant right now, I used hers."
"Bella where are you going?"
"I'm going to tell Edward the truth."
"Bella stop!"
"NO! I've had enough of you! Edward is the most sweetest, kind person. Who would give everything if he could, he's a gentlemen, respectful, old fashion, loving passionate person. He doesn't deserve to be treated the way you tricked him like this."
"Oh really Bella and the way he's treated you? I know"
"He's done more things right for me then wrong. Now you tell him the truth or I will! That's not a threat that's a promise."
"No you wouldn't, I can ruin your life. I wouldn't if I were you."
"Watch me,"
"If it isn't obvious you are SO kicked out of the wedding."
Once the recording stopped everyone in the audience gasped even louder. I turned to look at Alice standing up at the back holding a CD. This wasn't a part of the plan I thought. I felt my head spinning after hear this.
"Well I hope you're happy," Tanya glared at me and ran out of the church. I turned to Edward still looking up at the speakers.
"Edward I swear I didn't know someone was recording that conversation." He only smiled and took my hands.
"I'm glad someone played this recording. So now everyone knows the truth. But there is one thing I've been wanting to do since the day I've met you." I looked at him confused, then looked at Alice. Suddenly I saw him get down on one knee. I gasped in shocked knowing what he was doing.
"Edward..." I whispered through my fingers. He pulled out a velvet black box, and opened it. The ring was breathtaking way more stunning then Tanya's. It was old fashion, and elegant.
"Isabella Marie Swan, Ever since the day we've met, I knew you were the one. The one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I want to rule this country with you, I want to grow old with you. I want to spend the rest of my life telling you I love you. I promise to love you every moment of forever. Will you do the extraordinary honor of marrying me?"
"Yes of course,"
Tears escaped my eyes while he gave his speech. I was speechless after that and nodded. My lips curved into the biggest smile. forgetting about everyone in the room. They cheered and stood up applauding
Edward's face filled with excitement as he slipped the ring on my fourth finger on my right hand. He then kiss my ring, and my fingers. Then kissed my lips loving and passionately wrapping his arms around me, pressing me against him. I kissed him back as passionately as I could knowing I could finally spend the rest of my life being his.
