"I'll be fine, go."
Jackson looks around in her eyes for any signs, any signs of stress or tears, and he didn't see any. "Ok." He bends down and captures her lips in a sweet kiss and goes to turn away.
The grip of her hand on his shirt makes him stop and turn. "Hey, give me a proper kiss." Jackson bends down again and kisses her deeper, her hand rubs the back of his neck while his hold her hips. "Now," April says out of breath, "that is how you kiss your wife."
"Thank you for clearing that up for me." April laughs and it warms Jackson's heart. He missed her being happy and laughing. He kisses her once more and goes to check on the patient.
April waits for him and looks around the room. She can do this, they can do this. They will be happy, but how long will it take them to get there?
