Prompt: Jackson and April 11x20

Notes: So sorry it's been so long, I got super sick, I still am a little bit. Then my Grandpa was in the hospital, he's fine now. Then I had to take the fake baby home for Child Development, and it cried so much! So I've been super busy! I really hope you guys like this. Please, follow, favorite, and review.

April checks another on call room, where is he? She hasn't seen her husband all day. She walks into the last on call room there is, and he's there sitting on the bed with some tears in his eyes. She should've known this day was going to affect him.

Jackson doesn't move when she wraps her arms around him. "Hey, are you ok? I'm so stupid for not checking up on you."

"I'm fine, I just miss Lexie and Mark…"

April nods she hated telling Maggie what happened that terrible week. "We all do. But maybe its good this happened, everyone still has PTSD."

"How's Arizona and Meredith?" His green eyes search hers.

She shrugs, "As good as they can be."

"I just wished I accepted the Plastics Posse sooner, I wish I had more memories with him. He was a second father to me and I should've appreciated him more, I was a jerk."

"No you weren't. He passed down everything to you, and that was everything to him. I can't even imagine what it's like to lose a mentor like that, if I lost Owen…" her voice trailed off at the thought of it. "I have to apologize."

Jackson raises his eyebrows at her with confusion. "What?"

"I left you, I went to Ohio when Mark passed. I should've stayed and been there with you. So I'm sorry."

Jackson wraps his arms around her and doesn't deny her apology. He accepts it, because he was so angry at her when she left. "Can we go to graveyard?" April nods and they leave the hospital together.

It's dark when they get to the graveyard.

They hold their hands together while they stand in front of the tombstones. One reads: MARK SLOAN, FATHER AND FRIEND. The one beside his reads: ALEXANDRA GREY, SISTER. Then there's the last one that holds no emotional attachment to April and Jackson read: GEORGE O'MALLEY, 007, FRIEND.

It was always eerie going to this graveyard. The reminder of how many people died. As the couple stood there thinking their silent messages they were also wondering if they would get out alive.
