April walked into the lounge and gave a hollow, humorless, and dark chuckle.

Jackson, the only other person in the room, looked at her confused. "Is something funny?"

"Yes," said April as she sat down across from him. "Arizona thinks I'm pregnant."

Jackson froze and didn't move. "That's not funny."

"I guess it's not."

"Are you?"

April looked down at her hands and tears rolled down her cheeks. "Yeah." Jackson nodded and held back his own tears. "Jackson how could we be so stupid? We shouldn't have gotten drunk at the dinner party! Now our child will be born into a broken family."

"Damn it April! Whose fault is it, who left?"

April stared at him and wiped away her tears. "It's my fault and I know and I'm sorry! But I still love you, and you love me so we just need to talk some more and figure this out before the baby comes."

"If it lives." Jackson was shocked at the words that came out of his mouth and was shocked when her hand slapped him across the face. "April I'm s-"

She cut him off not bothering with wiping her tears away. "You don't think I'm terrified of that! Instead of normal fears like water or heights I'm terrified of being pregnant! But I'm not going think about that I'm going to think in the present and right now I'm pregnant and my husband isn't living with me and he might want a divorce and I want to know if he's all in about making out marriage work!"

"I don't want a divorce. I want to understand that there are two people in this marriage. I will not be my father but you can't leave ever again. You just can't go making decisions for just yourself you have to think about me and how your choices effect me."

April nodded and her pager went off, she wiped her tears and read it. "I have to go."

"I'll be waiting for you at the apartment." She left the lounge and took a deep breath, they weren't there yet, but it was a start.
