Some Bystander That I Was Too Lazy To Name's PoV
Nico was a mystery. That was for sure.
Quite a few girls liked him. Most were to shy to make a move, but the few that were able to muster enough to ask him if he wanted to hang out sometime were turned down, because he was 'in a relationship'. Different people interpreted different way, a way to let girls down gently, playing hard to get, he had a girlfriend already, etc.
He even turned down the sweet girls that were also very pretty. He managed to get every guy in the school angry at him, for turning down that wonderful chance.
They finally got their answer at graduation. He had held off accepting any dates for the whole four years of torture- sorry, high school. Everyone had received there diploma, and were celebrating with their family and friends. He went straight to a group of people who looked to be in their early 20s. They were making a ruckus and yelling weird nicknames, like 'Pine-cone Face' and 'Beauty Queen' as a few examples.
I assumed he was going to tell them off, since he hated loud noises. To my (and everyone else's) surprise, he walked up to a tall blonde guy with an impressive tan, who was facing the other way, towards to crowd.
Nico wrapped his arms around Blondie's waist and closed his eyes. Blondie jumped a little, and turned around, still in the hug. His expression softened, as if he knew Nico. He returned the hug and said, "I thought you didn't like physical contact..."
"I just missed you so much Will," Nico replied, looking up at Blondie's eyes, which were a beautiful blue matching the sky. "And, I don't like people," he added buried his face in Will's chest again.
"Aww, poor you. But you're going to have to let go eventually." Will laughed, patting Nico's head.
"No."
"Nico-"
"No."
