I know it's been a while since I updated this story, but here's Chapter 5 of 'Chaos Control to PacWorld'. In our last chapter, thanks to Pac and Pinky, Sonic and friends have 4 of each Emerald. They also learned that Shadow, who wasn't even at Eggman Nega's base, was transported to PacWorld with them, meaning that there could be others that got caught as well. If Sonic and the others play their cards right, they could gather their friends and the remaining Emeralds and get home safely.

As a reminder, Sega owns the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise (including the upcoming Sonic Boom TV series) and Namco owns Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures.

Finding Friends!

Sonic, Shadow, Silver, Blaze, and Pac retrieved the Emeralds that Pac found from Tails. Now the off-worlders were heading back to the Freedom Fighters' camp. Sonic and Shadow saw Cubot just lying in their way. "What are you doing here, Cubot?" Sonic asked.

"What am I-? Oh yes, now I remember. Dr. Eggman wanted me to go with you guys to act as a communicator between his camp and yours. My frequency is in sync with that of Orbot, which is what he'll be using for the communication," Cubot answered.

"You might as well forget it. I don't want to look at Eggman's mug any more than I have to."

"We respect the Doctor's wishes, Cubot, but Sonic's right. Eggman isn't the most pleasant to look at, let alone talk to. Now scram," said Shadow.

"But he demanded it. The boss can get very angry if he doesn't get what he wants."

"Yeah I noticed. Look, Cubot, tell Eggman that he's out of luck as far as taking you is concerned. Sal made a strict 'no Eggman's robots at the camp' rule. Bunnie doesn't count given that she's only partially robotized, making Omega the only exception," said Sonic.

"But…"

"No buts, Cubot. If Sonic said that we're not taking you, then we're not taking you. It's as simple as that. Besides, whether we take you or Orbot, you two would only result in an annoyance," said Blaze, as blunt as ever.

"Fine, but I guarantee you that without Dr. Eggman's help, everything will end up badly, especially for you and your band of Freedom Fighters." Cubot then floated away.

"For once, I'm glad Blaze was pretty blunt," Sonic said. Silver and Shadow nodded in agreement.

"Let's hurry. We need to make sure Cubot doesn't follow us," said Blaze. They all sped towards the Freedom Fighters' camp, Silver levitating of course.

Once they arrived, they saw another guest: E-123 Omega. Sonic and Shadow smirked. "So it looks like Omega made it here as well," said Shadow.

"Yeah, I had to get Rotor's help bringing him here. From the looks of things, he needs his battery charged," Knuckles said.

"Congratulations, Knucklehead. You used your brain for once."

"Shut it, Sonic."

"Speaking of robots, we ran into Cubot earlier. He said that Eggman was planning to use him and Orbot as communicators through their frequencies."

"You didn't bring him with you, did you, Silver? You know how we are when it comes to Eggman," Sally said.

"Yeah I know. And no, we didn't bring him with us. We've got enough problems with ghosts. We don't need that mustached moron interfering."

"Man, Silver, it sounds like Blaze is rubbing off on you," Amy commented. While this was going on, Rotor had Omega hooked up to a portable battery charger. Once he hooked the jumper cables to him, he woke up. Omega looked around and saw the unfamiliar environment as well as the Freedom Fighters.

"Why does everyone think I'm that blunt? Sure, I was when I told Marine to go away, and I know I was when we were trying to get rid of Cubot, but I don't think it's to the point of rubbing off on Silver. Really, I think he learns more from Sonic than he does me."

"Yeah sure, Blaze. Blame the fast-mouth hedgehog for any comments that come out of Silver's mouth," Sonic said sarcastically. Amy, Sally, and Bunnie looked at each other and giggled.

"Observation: Mobius' Freedom Fighters present except for Tails, different world. Identification: PacWorld," Omega said, startling everyone.

"Omega, you're awake. How do you feel?" Shadow asked. Omega looked at the battery meter on his wrist.

"Current battery life: 8% charge. I'm in no condition to go anywhere unless I'm at 65%."

"Well that answers that. Where's Rouge?"

"Hopefully, she got transported here. I don't want her anywhere near the Master Emerald," said Knuckles. Sonic nodded in agreement.

"I just hope she's safe," he said.

Meanwhile, in Pacopolis, there was a certain little bunny and her Chao friend were exploring the city. Like Shadow, Omega, and possibly Rouge, Cream wasn't near the base when the Chaos Control Wave occurred, but she got caught in it anyways. She heard a familiar voice coming from inside a building she was standing next to. Naturally, Cream and Cheese got curious, so they went inside. They found themselves in a tech lab run by a scientist who was currently arguing with one of his machines. "Dagnabbit, you old confounded bucket-o-bolts! I said to give me that processor chip!" Sir Cumference yelled.

Cream heard some chuckling and saw Tails taking in the sight with a humorous manner. She was so elated to see him, so she snuck up behind him and covered his eyes with her hands. "Guess who," she said.

"C-Cream?" Tails asked, surprised that she ended up here. Once she removed her hands, Tails turned around and saw Cream and Cheese standing there smiling at him.

"Yep, it's me alright," she said. She then gave Tails a kiss on the cheek. "What are you doing here Tails?"

"I'm helping Sir Cumference over there find Mobius while Sonic and the others find the other Emeralds. Then we're going to build a rocket ship that'll house all of us. Thanks to a local kid called Pacster, we've got 4 of each set of Emeralds. 3 more and Sonic and Blaze will have their full set back."

"You might want to make that 2 more, Tails. I found these when I woke up. They don't exactly look too good." She pulled out the Emeralds she had.

"That's pretty cool, Cream. Oh, that reminds me. One time, Eggman drained the Emeralds of both their color and their light while Sonic was in his 'Super Sonic' state. He woke up this being that rests at Mobius' core called Dark Gaia. Some of its energy went into Sonic, causing him to turn into this at night," he said, showing the picture of the Werehog. "This is a form we call 'Sonic the Werehog'. Once he beat Dark Gaia, the form became dormant to the point where we thought he lost it. Just the other day, though, we discovered that the light from the Chaos Emeralds were just keeping the form at bay. Sonic did his 'Sonic Cyclone' technique to save me from some troublemaking ghosts. That stirred up the Dark Gaia energy, causing him to change into this form again."

Once Tails was finished, he saw that Cream was intrigued, yet scared at the same time. He couldn't blame her; he probably would've felt scared to see Sonic like that if he were in her shoes. "Do you think you can take me to Mr. Sonic, Tails?" Cream asked.

"Sure thing, Cream," Tails answered. He then turned to Sir Cumference. "Hey, Sir Cumference, I'm going to take Cream over to the Freedom Fighters' camp. I'll be right back."

"Okay, Tails. Take your time. I'll have this here tin can straightened out by the time you get back," he said. The robot shocked him afterwards.

Omega got to 55% charge, which to him, still wasn't sufficient enough. It was still enough for his sensors to work. "Alert: someone is approaching on east end," he said. They looked and saw Tails and Cream holding hands while approaching the camp.

"Well it's about time," Sonic said while smirking.

"Hey, I can't help it. I was working with a scientist who fights with his robotic assistant," said Tails.

"No not that, Tails. I'm talking about you and Cream getting together. It took you long enough." Naturally, while Blaze was smirking as well, Tails and Cream were embarrassed. Cream then let go of Tails' hand and took out the Emeralds she found. She gave Sonic the Chaos Emerald and Blaze the Sol Emerald. Blaze ruffled up Cream's hair as well, happy to know that she was safe. Sweet, that's five of each."

"Correction: 6 of each. I've got a couple of them in my storage unit," Omega said as he opened up the storage unit. Sonic and Blaze each took their Emerald from Omega.

"That leaves one of each to go," Blaze said. The others nodded.

"We also have to find Rouge as well," Sonic said.

"Then let's get to looking," said Shadow. Before they started, though, the sun went down.

"Uh-oh, this isn't good," Sonic said before transforming again. Antoine fainted again while Sally looked nervously at the Werehog. Cream was holding on to Tails out of fear while Omega got his guns ready. "Oh man."

CHAPTER 5 END

So that was Chapter 5. Sonic and friends have reunited with Cream and Omega. He and Blaze also have 6 of each Emerald. Now they just have to find Rouge and the last two Emeralds. Stay tuned to find out what happens next.
