Operation: Chaos Control
As the morning came and the sun arose past the trees, Sonic had already changed back into his Hedgehog form. He and Tails looked around and saw Silver already doing push-ups as a morning exercise. He moved far enough away from Amy so as to not wake her up. Rouge was still passed out from the sight she saw and Shadow was definitely awake, overlooking the same sight that Sonic was. The Freedom Fighters were still sound asleep save for Bunnie; she was doing her morning activities like Silver was.
Sonic and Tails smirked at the sight of Blaze and Cream sleeping. Cream snuggled up to Blaze's arm sound asleep. They looked towards Knuckles and couldn't hold in their snickering. Tails flew towards the red echidna with a marker, making Silver stop his push-ups and look to see what he was up to. The two hedgehogs were having trouble holding in their laughter as they saw what Tails did to Knuckles. Shadow just shook his head. Once Tails rejoined Sonic and Silver, they looked and saw that Tails drew eyebrows and a goatee on his face. That was the last straw; the hedgehogs couldn't hold in their laughter.
It was enough to wake everyone else up, including Omega, to see what they were laughing at. Blaze quirked her eyebrows as she and Cream looked at Knuckles, who didn't know what was going on. "What? What's so funny?" he asked, confused as to why Sonic, Tails, and Silver were rolling on the ground and the cat-and-rabbit duo had their cheeks puffed up and their shoulders shaking. Sally woke up seeing this and, like Shadow, shook her head. She got out her mirror and held it up to Knuckles so he could see. "Oh not again! Alright, who did it this time!?" he shouted, angry that the prank was pulled on him a second time.
Cream was happy that Tails could pull that prank without hurting inside; it would seem that he'd gotten over the death of their dear friend Cosmo. Knuckles, on the other hand, was obviously not happy. He also knew who did it since Tails was the only one in the group to keep a marker on him. He walked over to the two-tailed fox and grabbed him by the shoulders. "We're about to go up against Eggman Nega AND Betrayus and you pull this trick on me?!" he shouted while shaking Tails up. "I guess you had to do it in Cosmo's memory, didn't you?"
"Who's Cosmo?" Silver asked Sonic.
"Cosmo was a Seedarian and the first of Tails' crushes. She helped out against the Metarex, sacrificing herself so Tails can destroy Dark Oak and save the galaxy. Naturally, he was heartbroken over the ordeal, but he managed to get over it over time. A couple of crushes later and I guess he found his true love in Cream," Sonic explained.
Cream tapped Knuckles on the shoulder to get him to stop shaking Tails, who was dazed at this point. "Please, Mr. Knuckles. Stop shaking Tails like that. We need him to help out against that meanie Eggman Nega," she said.
"Or is it that you're so much of a bully that you like picking on kids to make yourself seem tough?" Blaze added, shocking the Master Emerald's Guardian. He put Tails down and went to find a rag he could use to wash off the marker on his face. "How are you feeling, Tails?" Blaze asked.
"A little dizzy, but I'll live," the fox answered.
"Now that that's settled, let's head over to Pacopolis," Sonic said, getting a nod from Blaze, Tails, and Cream. Shadow decided to come along as well, making sure that Eggman's robots didn't follow them.
They got to Pacopolis and found Pac and his friends outside of Sir Cumference's lab. "Yo, Pacster, what's up?" Sonic asked, getting their attention.
"Not much, Sonic. We're actually waiting for Sir Cumference and President Spheros to finish a discussion," answered Pac.
"Do you have any idea what they're talking about?"
"No, not really," said Cyli. "But I believe they said something about getting you guys back home."
"Well, we've got a plan for that," Tails said. "We're going to get Eggman Nega and Betrayus separated."
"How are you going to do that?"
"Silver," Sonic answered, confusing the Pac people. "Silver and Nega are both from the future on our world, plus he can use the Chaos Emeralds like me and Shadow here. All he has to do is, in his Super state, track down a gem called the Master Emerald in his time after capturing Nega with his Psychokinesis and use Chaos Control to get there."
"Which would just leave Betrayus to deal with, right?" Spiral asked, finally speaking up.
"Well…not quite. It turns out that the original Dr. Eggman is here as well, as much as Tails hates it. While we're doing this, we're going to have to keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't try anything funny."
"Alright, that sounds like a plan. And just in time too. I see a bunch of ghosts coming," said Pac, pointing at the sky.
"Okay, then. Let's go." Blaze and the others nodded.
They got to the area where the ghosts were at and saw some black-and-yellow Egg Pawns terrorizing the plaza. The speed demons saw Silver trying to destroy each one with his Psychokinesis, but he kept getting terrorized. Sonic decided to step in and take a few out himself, followed by Blaze and Shadow. Tails and Cream looked for a place to hide.
Silver saw a blue light, a yellow-orange light, and a fiery tornado and knew that his friends were there. "Thanks for the assist, guys. I needed that," he said.
"We're not out of this yet, Silver," Blaze said as more Egg Pawns and ghosts came. They saw Eggman Nega in his Eggmobile and Betrayus right beside him.
"Attention, citizens of PacWorld. My name is Eggman Nega, and I have made a deal with Betrayus here to ensure the peace around here. All you have to do is be our servants and you'll live a happy life. If you don't, well…you'll end up like Betrayus," he said, cackling like a madman.
"Get real," said a voice. Nega looked down and saw the hedgehog trio and Blaze. "If anything, Nega, you'll make their lives even more miserable." Sonic got the Chaos Emeralds to spin around himself, Shadow, and Silver, turning them into their Super Forms.
"Sonic, I've got a lock," Silver said.
"That's great, Silver. Now get going!" Silver nodded and flew towards Eggman Nega, dodging the bullets along the way. Sonic and Shadow were destroying the robots that were trying to hit him. Eggman Nega hit a button that fired several missiles at him. Once the missiles hit, an explosion occurred.
"That'll show one of those pesky hedgehogs who's top dog around here," Nega said. He felt a strange sensation, so he looked at his ship and his hands and noticed that he had the greenish-white aura around him. He turned around and saw Silver right behind him.
"You were saying, Eggman Nega?" the hedgehog asked with a smirk, making Nega tremble in fear. "Target's locked. Chaos Control!" he shouted. A bright light engulfed him and the mad scientist. Once the light cleared, Betrayus saw that he lost his partner.
"Oh no," he said in fear as he saw Sonic and Shadow approaching.
The future on Mobius was just like Sonic and Shadow's time: bright blue skies, green grass, beautiful trees. The Master Emerald was still around as well. The current Guardian, one of Knuckles' descendants, was guarding the Emerald when he saw it react. He saw a bright light in the sky and Eggman Nega and his Eggmobile fell to the ground, followed by a slowly-descending Silver. The now-white hedgehog looked towards the echidna. "Sorry to drop in on you like this, Jake," he said.
Jake crossed his arms. "Yeah whatever, Silver. I guess that's Eggman Nega?" the echidna asked, getting a nod from the psychokinetic hedgehog.
"Now it's easier for me to kill you, Silver. Since you're separated from Sonic, who has all the Chaos Emeralds, you're back into your base form!" Nega exclaimed while pointing at Silver.
"Well my base form is all I need to beat you!" Silver picked up some boulders with his Psychokinesis and threw them at Nega's Eggmobile, causing the scientist to dodge as many as he could. "Gotcha!" exclaimed Silver. He slammed the Eggmobile and caused Nega to fall out of the seat and back onto the ground. "Face it, Nega! You've been beaten!"
"Not yet, you miserable hedgehog!" Nega hit a button on his cufflink which summoned a creation that Silver had read about: the Big Arm! "Allow me to introduce you to one of Eggman's greatest creations that I upgraded. This is called the 'Big Arm 3.0'. Like the original, it has an immense amount of force once it catches its target. The problem was that Eggman couldn't catch Sonic, Tails, or Knuckles with it. But since you're not as fast as them, then there's no problem. Luckily, I also made it Psycho-proof, so you won't be able to grab it."
Silver looked to Jake for permission, who granted it with a nod. "I may not be able to affect it, but we can still tear it up!" he exclaimed, grabbing the echidna with his Psychokinesis. This scared Nega as he saw Silver winding his arm up like a pitcher in baseball. The white hedgehog flung his arm forward, hurling Jake straight towards the Big Arm with his fists pointed forward. The Guardian made a hole in the mech and destroyed it from the inside out. Jake landed by Silver and they exchanged a fist bump. "I bet Sonic and Knuckles never did that."
"Nope," Jake responded. Eggman Nega escaped on his Eggmobile before Silver could catch him. "Hopefully, we won't see him again for a while. Now you're going to have to tell me how you just showed up out of the blue."
"It's a long story," Silver chuckled out.

Alright, I figured that it was about time I updated this story. Sorry it took so long, though. I've been focused on 'Symbios-Issues' and 'Digimon Tamers: A Different Story'. I really haven't had the inspiration come to me until yesterday. It's amazing how quickly I can write these things.
On another note, for those of you who are fans of Bleach and Street Fighter, I have finished 'Symbios-Issues' and started writing a sequel set in both of those worlds called 'The World Warrior Tournament'. Since it's a follow-up to the first one, it features my OC Logan Washburn. I will not include crazyblade89's OCs Cloak and Pitch as they are traveling the world. Also, I'm not going to include DC characters either. Until next time, my fellow Sonic fans!
