A/N: Hey everyone! I would like to welcome back the reviewers, followers and favoriting people! You all simply amazing! I was almost tempted to put this story on hiatus a week ago but I just sat on my sofa reading old reviews and it got me motivated enough to not. So I thank you all for that!

This chapter has mostly everyone's P.O.V. in it because the chapter is that extensive in who sees what. I love how I had written this, even at the beginning I knew exactly how this chapter would come out as. It totally just makes me happy! I do admit I am a typo or not the good a phraser so let me know in the reviews things I need to fix! I'll try to fix them every time but hey not everyone is perfecto!

I'm a complete romancer so my attempts at action isn't my best suit so I hope you love my trying in this chapter!

I decided after the coronation as you all know some authors for the Chronicles Of Narnia, either skip the golden age or write the whole thing. I'm going to write snip bits of it like for an example, 1 year here, another year there. So everything wont be too drawn out or too simple! Lots of things will happen in those chapters as well. People will be introduced, plots will roll out for the entire series and hope you all will enjoy them!

Next chapter you'll see the end of the battle and the reuniting scenes which I simply love I must say. They make me just so happy! Alright that enough rambling!

Without further ado, I give you Chapter 17!

I'll Always Protect You

~Blake's P.O.V. ~

As I ran straight to Peter,I shook my head as to why he would just stand there helpless. But soon my mind figured it out as the heat made sweat go down my face. All of us were still young.

Me and Penny were the oldest but Peter was only 16. He was scared.

I grabbed Peter's arm once he saw me in the corner of his eye. "Come on. Why are you just standing here?"

My best friend just shook his head "If we run there would be no reason to fight for Aslan. She would still get her way."

Sighing I watched most of the Narnians turn around and run straight back towards the Witch's army. I then faced my friend. He was right. If we ran there would be no reason to avenge Aslan.

Nodding to him we both ran straight back into battle with the Narnians beside us.

Through the whole thing I stayed right beside Peter's side even seeing Edmund come down with some of the archers and fight along with us but what got me was that Penelope had come back.

Her blonde hair had caught my eye but my eyes didnt stay transfixed on her, the Witch was a few feet in front of her. They both just glared each other harshly as if they were sworn enemies from birth.I turned to Peter while blocking a blow from a minotaur. "Penelope came back!"

He turned to see her and shook his head as he fought a large minotaur.

My jaw clenched as I saw them circling each other as if they were about to fight.

Shaking my head I ran straight to them but what got me was that Penelope's eyes weren't the blue that I loved, they were prime gold. But suddenly then, a large flash happened in front of my eyes and they were at it.

~Edmund's P.O.V. ~

This was it.

I finally was in battle with my family and it wasn't how I had expected it to be. It was purely gruesome but the Witch deserved whatever punishment she got. Aslan didn't deserve to die. That was just it.

While I fought off some type of wolf beast I noticed a flash of gold in the corner of my eye. Penelope was fighting the Witch with more power that I had ever seen from her. She looked completely comfortable as if she did it her whole life.

But that didn't unsettle me, as much as the thought of her getting hurt because I betrayed my family.

She never would have had to fight her if it wasn't for me.

Quickly I tried to sprint down the hill but I heard Peter in my ears "Edmund! Go! There is too many, get the girls and get them home!"

My eyebrows scrunched together at the thought of leaving them all, but Mr. Beaver tugged on my chain mail pants, "Come on you heard him! Let's go!"

We ran up the hill dodging some of the Witch's army but when I saw the Witch pull out her wand staring straight at Penelope, I made my choice.

I would stay with my family.

~ Penelope's P.O.V.~

This wasn't me.

My mother was with me. I knew because I felt the soft feel of her spirit inside of me.

The Witch stood in front of me poised with her wand aimed straight towards me while mine faced her's.

She just smiled harshly "You know, I sent your mother away once before. It wont be that hard to send you away. "

I just stared her down as I twisted my wand at her as we both started shooting daggers of ice and heat towards eachother. I felt like I was walking on air as I heard my mother softly tell me when to move or when to aim at the Witch.

Finally I ducked swiftly as a slice of ice was shot at me but as I stood I heard a heavy body lean on top of mine.

The smell of coconut and spice filled my nostrils as my blood began to cool and my face became blank.

Blake.

The Witch pulled her wand out from him as I saw small traces of his blood on the crystal.

The woman just smiled evilly towards me as she walked away from me towards Peter. Finally I fell backwards from Blake's bare weight and then time continued fast. In moments I felt tears rake down my face as I noticed he was bleeding from his stomach.

~Susan's P.O.V.~

As we sped through a large plain of grass heading towards a set of woods my confusion started to appear.

"Where are we going?"

Lucy looked back at me with the same amount of confusion that I had but soon Aslan told us to hang on.

Hang on? Why? Suddenly we were speeding across a large bridge of ice connecting the Witch's Castle to the mainland.

We were going there?

Why?

We should be heading towards the battle field but then I remembered. Edmund told us of all the statues of animals stuck there frozen in time in her courtyard!

But how could we fix them?

~Edmund's P.O.V.~

While I was running towards the Witch I stopped as I saw Blake fall to the ground on top of Penelope as he got stabbed for her. Suddenly my pace increased as I jumped off a small cliff aiming with my sword toward her wand/

She saw me in the corner of her eye and moved. The Witch grinned as I had seen that grin so many times before. At the courtyard when she dragged me across the ice towards her sled, when she pulled Mr. Tumnus away from me, and when she had tied me up on the tree.

She aimed for me but I dodged and quickly got a glimpse of Penelope over Blake holding his face and Peter fighting a large cat. I swung my sword as hard as I could down on her wand in front of me and it busted with a huge blue light.

As that happend all I heard was Penelope and Peter's scream of my name as the Witch glared me so hard I stared straight in her vicious blue eyes. As she struck me with the sharp end of her broken wand she stared straight down onto me. All I felt was pure pain.

A/N: Okay that was a chapter! Tell me what you think! Was it good? Was it bad?
