A/N: Hey guys! I'm on time! *fist bump in the air* Woot! I really like this chapter even if it may be a bit simplistic but I absolutely LOVE Edmund's revival and Blake's near death sequence, it just makes me want to pat myself on the back lol.
Last chapter was one of the chapters where I was knee deep in Writer's Block so it sort of sounded like it was the final chapter or announcing the end of the whole story but nope soreeeee. This is definitely not the end of True Destiny. I'm planning on just hitting some high important things in the Golden Age and then skyrocketing into Prince Caspian.
I have some REALLY great ideas for PC, but hey we're still in the first book!
I hope to see you all very soon, (AKA next week)
And without any further ado, I give you Chapter 19! Xoxo!
Visions
Susan's P.O.V.
As I raced down the hill running towards Peter with Lucy's hand in mine I noticed how many bodies that laid on the group still.
The closer we got the more I saw Peter's shiny silver armor but as I arrived I noticed a green barrier degrade into thin air. I looked curiosly to him as we hugged but soon my fear took my expression.
"Where are Edmund, Penelope and Blake?"
It was quiet for a moment until we all heard quiet sniffling and someone yelling for help. We all raced to the voice but Edmund's still body shocked me as he laid on the ground.
Penelope was leaning over Blake's body holding his face in her hands while telling him to wake up again. Sadness washed over me but the grief was worse when I sprinted to Edmund, killing a dwarf in the process with my bow and arrows. I pulled his helmet off as my family crowded around Edmund.
He was gasping like he was running out of air but soon Lucy unlatched her cordial and poured a drop into Edmund's mouth. Tears started to rake down my cheeks as Ed just stood still for moments but suddenly he started to cough.
Blake's P.O.V.
It was like I could hear everything that was going on around me but I just couldn't act or move until I tasted something really sweet. Nothing had ever tasted so good like this.
Slowly I imagined we all had returned home. I could smell and taste something so sweet coming from my house that showed up out of no where. Smoothly I opened the door seeing Penelope by the stove taking out apple pie from the oven.
She turned to me but all I saw was pure grief in her eyes. "Come back. Everyone needs you."
My confusion etched onto my face until she came up to me changing into something even more beautiful than she actually already was. Her hair grew longer, gold appeared in her skin, and a soft cream dress floated airlessly around her as a flower crown appeared.
This was her natural state.
Penelope's soft hand touched my cheek and all I felt was warmth. "Come back."
Come back, everyone needs you. Come back, everyone needs you.
Kept repeating in my head. It was almost as if someone had whispered it into my ear millions of times.
Slowly I nodded at her and then a bright light came into my vision and someone screamed my name as I noticed serveral people around my sides with expectant faces.
Edmund's P.O.V.
It felt different now. Completely different.
In front of me Blake's eyes opened slowly as if he was in some type of daze.
I knew how he felt.
Coming back from the "dead", felt like you were in some type of trance.
Penelope basically screamed his name in excitement causing everyone to giggle. Peter helped him sit up as Lucy screwed back on the cap to her cordial. He shook his head confused "Penelope, you have really long hair."
Laughing and snorting ,I shook my head ,"And that is the first thing you say when you come back from the dead. Genius!"
He just smirked at me but slowly he looked to see Penelope beside him watching him with tears still pouring down her cheeks. Smoothly he grabbed her and hugged her tight. Blake had leaned into her ear smiling and said something that all of us couldn't hear but when Penny burst into fits of giggles, we knew everything was alright.
We survived.
After they broke from each other, Blake clasped my shoulder with his hand "You're great, Ed."
I turned to look at him smiling. I was great? How?
As I was about to ask a question Lucy started to speak before I did.
"If my cordial brought them back, it could help others too," looked to us all a large smile came onto her face as she ran off helping others.
We survived. All of us were okay.
A/N: Hey guys! Did you like the chapter even though it is short? Let me know in your reviews! Happy Holidays and see you back in the New Year!
